predictable, but not.. I throughly enjoyed the emotion expressed through the beautiful writing in this book, yet I found it to be a bit short and slightly predictable. The ending was expected, but I think the character development was a bit underdeveloped. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick book to get you out of a reading slump, this is for you.

Really great read that pulls you in. At first I thought this would be any other romance novel but it is anything but. Brings you in to a really powerful story about friendship and letting go of trying to control your future

Decent but nothing special. It is a nice story of friendship and grief. I picked up the book thinking that it will be deep in ways that will leave a lasting impression on me, but it didn’t.

Gave me tears and joy. It’s an amazing book with the lovely New York City in it. I learned so much from these two amazing best friends. I cried a lot but also laughed and made me realized of so many things we don’t think about because of ours rush speed lives. Please read it, it will give you something special too.

Amazing, I have no words. When I fall for. Book, I fall for it hard. This is what happened here in less than 24 hours I finished this book. I laughed, I cried, and I understood so much that I can’t believe it’s over. I’m so glad I read it and hope many more people read it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Binge Read!. The fastest I’ve ever read a book! I devoured this book in ONE DAY, I have two little kids so that’s a nearly impossible task. The story, the characters…everything. Just such phenomenal story telling.

Unexpected emotional twist!. At first I was upset at the twist this story had but then fell in love with how emotional and sweet this ended up being. I started reading not knowing it was going to be such a sad story but I did smile in the end with the way things fell into place. Ending being about friendships truly made this so great. Her friendship with Bella was beautiful and Bella cared so much for her. I would a sequel and to know where and with who Dannie ends up. Dr. Shaw or maybe Aaron!?!

Wow. This is the best book I’ve read since getting back into reading in my adult life. I had no idea how the author would connect the beginning to the end, and let me tell you it was nothing like I thought. This was the first book I read by Rebecca Serle but it definitely won’t be the last!

Quite literally one of the worst books ever. I won’t even waste my time writing a coherent review because this book was not. It was incredibly ridiculous…the ending was just…WHAT. I will give it to the author, the idea for this was amazing, it really does sound like a phenomenal story on the blip on the back of the book, but dear god if I could forget this book, I would.

Perhaps the author may benefit by living in a country where the children make their home in garbage dumps or where families survive in toxic environments or constant wars. OMG tragedy, the wine glass is empty…give me a break E

Not that great. I was excited to read this book because it sounded right up my alley. I was disappointed not only throughout the entire novel but especially at the ending. Not a great plot and not well written either. The main character is self centered and boring.

If i knew what my life would be like in 5 years, to have that i would. the book made me question myself about the five years of my life but it also made me quite frenetic. Not at all what I was expecting!. This book was not what I was expecting! People that know me know I like to plan life like a 5 year plan like the main character of the book Dannie. I ‘m a numbers girl. But life is not like that as we all know. This book was refreshing! It is about the importance and significance of friendships. We often take for granted our friends in our lives. This book reminds us of what is really important. Great book for an easy read!

I didn’t love it. I don’t know what I expected going into this book, but this was definitely not it. Don’t get me wrong, this was a beautiful story. Truly. But I felt it was a bit dragged on and I was honestly waiting for it to end. I also was not a big fan of the ending.

I wish I hadn't read it, save your time.. This book had some good ideas that never came together. The plot is so ill-placed that it ended as quickly as a bad sitcom that was canceled mid-season. One of the worst parts is that the entire story is from only the main character’s POV. Literally no one else. There’s a total of about twenty pages of dialogue from all the other characters combined. The love interests are at their core the same person, and they're both treated as disposable. Even the main character describes her best friend as a vapid hippie but implodes when they're separated. The plot and writing are painful because the book is peppered with erroneous name drops of different high-end clothing designers, tourist trap overpriced NYC restaurants, and parts of the city that have no bearing on the story. No character development, multiple changes in story direction for no reason, and a lack of a solid ending. I wish I hadn't paid for this book because I wouldn't even read it for free now or recommend it to anyone unless I dislike them.
