Thirty-eight-year-old set designer Amelia Parker is on a mission to get pregnant—soon. That’s why she’s researching sperm banks and procedures. It’s also why her best friend hires a matchmaker for her. She insists Amelia deserves—needs—a romance reset before she embarks on single parenthood.
Widower Lincoln Hayes is about to be an empty nester with his twins going off to college. He’s ready to have some fun, but he doesn’t want to do it alone. Dating, though.... Staying offline and hiring a matchmaker who vets his dates makes sense.
Imagine Lincoln’s surprise when his first date in twenty years is actually his first love, the one who broke his heart and got away. Amelia is shocked to see Lincoln, and the chemistry between them is as strong as ever. Amelia can easily imagine having Lincoln’s baby— but is her biological clock and desire for a child more than Lincoln can handle?

A sweet read. Linc and Amelia are both well developed characters who know what they both want. I like that the story was straightforward and intriguing at the same time.
Romance Reset. Great story I love it! Romantic and clean, just the way I like it!
Haven’t even finished first chapter. The first chapter I found so offensive - delicate subject, “friend” discusses in a public location, doesn’t tell her about objections before but goes behind her back to set up appointment?! If I had been in the main character’s shoes I would have told her that I found her behavior very offensive, but out of respect for the outside party, I would talk with her but only when she was gone, and that she should not try to call me at least for a few days. I would have a very hard time forgiving that breech of trust. ** I really liked the premise given in the blurb, so I gave it to chapter 3. Still want to nix the friendship. Not my idea of friendship for sure.
Romance Reset. Absolutely loved this story!!!!
What if readers did use a sperm bank? It’s pretty offensive regarding those.. Just saying
Romance reset. Super sweet story. Believable. I can’t wait to read more!
Good Book. I read these kind of out of order (I read Izzy’s first) but it didn’t matter too much. It was a very enjoyable read!
