A Must-Read!!!. ****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.***** I am so excited I got an ARC copy of The Sweet Taste of Sin. Ember Casey has done a wonderful job in writing this love story. It is one of the best books I have read all year. This is a story of love, love lost, regret, and redemption. I love the plot It is well developed. The characters are so vivid, I felt like I could have been Ashlyn, experiencing all of the emotions and I could feel Dante’s pain too. Let's not forget the passionate and steamy sex scenes! HOT! HOT! HOT! Ember, your writing transported me into the world of your book. It takes great talent to be able to convey all of those emotions in a book. I could not put this book down, and you won't be able to either! I read it in 1 day. Needless to say, I loved it!!!!

A realistic beautiful passionate story. A realistic love story filled with passion and a little heartache that will have you feeling every bit of the emotions the characters portray. The ending leaves you anxious to begin the next book in the series of which I cannot wait to do.

Ashlyn and Dante. ***I was given this ARC for an honest review*** Ashlyn's bf Jack sets her up to bake the cake for the newest movie premiere's party. With this exposure her bakery will be widely known. She accepts thinking she would never run into the man that broke her heart 3 years ago. Not only does she run into him, she catches him having sex with his brother's "fiancée." Dante can't believe his eyes. Here he is balls deep in another woman and the one he's been searching for the last 3 years, walks in on him. Their dance of getting back together is a great read. I loved it. I have a feeling that Dante's little tryst with his brother's "fiancée" will come back to bite him in the butt. We shall see.

Ah, Dante. Fell in love with Dante Fontaine right away! Ashlyn is a beautifully layered protagonist, and their story is a must-read!

Mistakes. We all have doubts about relationships and this book does a great job of depicting the angst of the main characters. Supporting roles are well written and add a dose of reality.

LIAR. The man is a hypocrite. The man wasn’t even thinking about the girl until she caught him screwing another woman! He claims he missed her but not enough to keep her 3 years ago.

Great read!!!. I found this book a little slow in the very beginning but after that it is great. I love Ember Casey books she definitely keeps it interesting, steamy with the right amount of love scenes, and a great story line. I would recommend buying this book.

Not a favourite. 1st half was difficult to hold my interest but it got better in the 2nd half.😟

It was okay. There are certainly good points about this book. The details and the backstories of the characters were great. The exploration of Hollywood life was interesting. The character’s emotions were well described. But despite all of this, it was an okay book for me. I was never a fan of one-sided POV before so not having Dante’s perspective really cut my enjoyment by half. The opening was interesting with Emilia but that didn’t really go anywhere (I’m guessing more of this will be explored in book 2). Jack suddenly disappears for half the book. Could have done more with Mama Pat. I just feel there were a lot of missed opportunities and kind of disappointed by the end of it.

Yes. This story was an emotional roller coaster but totally worth it I absolutely love love love this story 💕💕💕
