This book gave me a new way to look at habits and how powerful they can be in your life. There are many ways that this book can change your life if you put forth the effort. Truly inspiring!

Everyone should read this book. I’m in my mid 20’s and this book has calmed my mind about approaching and building my future. It gave me a tool to help me reach my, once thought, impossible goals and stay motivated in the process.

Doing the 75 Hard challenge at the same time as I read this. It was almost like a perfect explanation of what I hope will change for me after I’m done with the challenge.

A family member of mine recommended this book to me and I could not be more appreciative that he did. The amount of insight in this read in endless and very easy to comprehend! I myself am not much of a reader. I have struggled and still do at times to get into the mindset of sitting down to read and relax. After diving into Atomic Habits this is one important aspect of life that I will continue to make one of my habits and its all because of the systems this book has helped me put in place. 10/10 would recommend to ANY reader out there!

As someone who has undiagnosed adhd 😅 I struggle with procrastination, non-commitment, impulsive behavior, perfectionism and the list goes on and on. This book not only helped me to understand my habits on an atomic level but gave me the confidence and the know-how to make effective changes in my life WITHOUT ALL THE PRESSURE! A 1% positive increase over time can compound into astronomical differences in your life. This is a habit ‘bible’!

This good shared many good tips on how to create small changes in order to make large impacts. The author shared many stories that made the book enjoyable and relatable. Many great lessons were shared, some points that I’ll probably never forget.

This book helps you to get control over negative habits while accelerating positive habits.

Easy read with good stories but basically repeats itself through much of the book. Could have been 6 chapters

You can't argue with someone if the arguments that he gave you are well-founded. That is the case with this book. It makes it easy to understand why I had such a hard time changing and how I can solve that with a real strategy.

This book is too practice lacking theory ,statistics, good examples, or abstract concepts. It’s not thought provoking. I also didn’t experience any single ah ha moment while reading. I would would suggest that reading a summary is more than enough.

As a professional sales person and coach it just helped open my eyes to how much there is to know about compound interest and change. Get up and start the habit.

By far one of the best books I have read in my life. I have learnt a ton from it, very intriguing and fascinating content, and extremely practical as well. It’s the kind of book that I would recommend everyone to read it. Excellent book.

This book saved my life. Bold statement I know but when you start to understand how small little negative habits are eating away at your success, happiness, joy and love it becomes scary to think of what 5 or 10 years down the road looks like. I listened to this book in December of 2018. I only started to apply these tools in February of 2019. I was at my lowest at that point. I was 192lb, drinking at least 2 drinks a day and rarely exercising. I let my business falter and my marriage was heading down a terrible path. This book sparked me, but not only that gave me tangible tools to make the tiny micro changes I needed to do I could get back on track. It started with 5 push-ups and 5 sit-ups. We are almost a year later to the date and I have lost 20lbs. I have completed 75 Hard and am not only in the best shape of my life I feel like I am in elite shape comparatively. My business is thriving and I have had so many opportunities hit my plate in the last 2 months that I can barely keep up. I have fully prescribed to the notion of setting huge goals and then setting the smallest habits to get their. Thank you for writing this book and truly saving my life. I cannot express in words how different 2019 would be had I not read this book.

Very well written

Yep, another review saying it. But this book is truly life changing. A completely new way to think about discipline and progress.

Unearthed some principles I knew subconsciously, and gave me new strategies to work with.

Pretty good self-help book. Allows you to look at life by different stages and executing it precisely. Every step matters.

I finished this book in two days because it gives some much suggestion and right mindset on building habits. I find proper methods to start, undergo habits and sustain habits next time. The attitude for having habits taught me enjoy the process and reward for the habit I cultivate.

This book gave me the chills when I finished my reading. It really helped me realize what bad habits I had and how to minimize them while also creating good habits along the way.

I have always wanted to make changes in my life and I have started many good habits and unfortunately bad. But regardless of how great or how much a “habit” improved my life I could never stick with it. But after reading this book I finally understand how the process of life and self improvement looks. Over the last 2 weeks reading this book, my life has begun to change dramatically and for the good. This time around however, I no longer strive for a certain goal or outcome for every habit. Instead I focus on the overall goal and the small steps or small improvements that I am making by showing up and being consistent. Thank you James Clear for not only the research that went into this book but sharing the wonderful knowledge of atomic habits.

High impact through small changes.

This book is incredible. It made me completely re-evaluate how I look at my behavior and does an amazing job of giving a new insight to how we go through our daily lives. A multitude of real life examples, readable charts, and helpful graphics complement this easy-to-read book and it’s become one of my favorites of all time. I can’t recommend this book enough.

I’ve been wrestling with some personal habits and this book helped me to understand it isn’t a fault in me, but my habit forming system. This book added several tools in my toolbox to help me work on some of my habits and help me shape my understanding about myself. Highly recommend it!

It really broke some things down for me and made think about the habits that are so automatic for me. Already implementing some things and myself and my wife have noticed a change.

If you want to change your habits this give you a great insight on how to do so. We all struggle in our ways to change things, James walks your through step-by-step.

Information, or rather the effect of information, is highly dependent of one’s emotional state, ie, if someone is in the appropriate emotional state to be ready to apply life altering changes, can be extremely gratifying. When I first picked up this book, mentally, I wasn’t ready for its intended message. Consequently, I flipped through the first couple pages fairly passively acknowledging the message and considering it fairly obvious. I wasn’t inspired. Certain life events occurred after starting this book which changed my emotional state and caused certain aspects of my perspective, unknowingly and organically, to shift and be open to exactly where this book seemed to be heading. Once this acknowledgment took place, I read this book voraciously. The light switch flipped on. Throughout the rest of the process of reading this book many “switches” kept flipping. What was once common sense transitioned to re-applying what was known to a more effective structure suited for creating a sustainable change rather than momentary inspirational blips on a map. This book hit home and it has helped me develop a perspective I once dreamed of but didn’t know how to hone. This started the first domino of a chain reaction which I feel better equipped to direct. I’d love to thank this author. I am grateful for your product. Thank you.

I’ve read The Compound Effect, The Slight Edge, and many other habit development books. This book takes it a step further and really illuminates human behavior in a whole new level. Very very glad I finally picked this up after hearing it recommended so many times.

It’s a stepping stone of fixing your bad habits and creating new ones; and how to stick with the new habits without seeing them as a chore.

One of the simplest, yet eye-opening books I’ve ever read. If you’re into self-improvement this book is a must read. You will be surprised how profound some of the smallest changes to your environment and habits can radically change who you are over time.
