Decent Overview of Alexanders Life. This was much less of a biography and more of a motivational book. Nothing new or groundbreaking was presented, and the biography section seemed rushed and lacked proper description. Thankfully it is free and it provides a decent overview of Alexanders life and conquests

Interesting and Inspiring. I came across this book while browsing and read it in 2 days. As someone who is interested in history, I expected more of a thorough treatment of Alexander the Great. However, I soon realized the work was meant to be an inspirational challenge using Alexander as an example of greatness. I found it to be a refreshing use of historical facts about Alexander the Great to spur the reader to live a life of purpose and perseverance.

Love it. I've read this book, and the tesla book. Both great! I'd like a book to be done on Elon Musk, or maybe explorers like Vespucci or Francis drake

Alexander the Great.. Excellent book. I truly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to fulfill their goals and dreams.

It proves the reason for what is holding you back from your deepest desires and show you how even you, a single being, can achieve greatness just as Alexander. Aboslutely Inspirational. This is one one book I have read that I know, if you do not constrain yourself, you will want to get up at the middle of night and go out to get good things that will enhance your life done. It is so captivating and full of life practical experience that I found it difficult to drop it.

Interesting but cursory. This was a quick read and done at a very high level. For a biography' it just goes so quickly over each of the battles and steps in the campaigns that are the majority of what the book takes you through that it felt like taking a cross country trip and having enough gas that you don't stop from one coast to the other...you are just flying through. To the extent that the author was basing the book around "drive" and subjugated all to that end, I can understand...but still thought it would have served that cause even more so to engage more deeply in points of the campaign and life of our protagonist in order to understand how difficult things were and how "drive" enabled him to accomplish what he did. Appreciated the book and enjoyed reading it nonetheless...just a couple thoughts about it for what they are worth.

Never knew. I’ve heard about Alexander the Great! But I didn’t know that he was such a fierce warrior and accomplished so much in his short life! This book quickly gives you a synopsis of his life and accomplishments which makes me want to know more!

Really just an ADVERTISEMENT. This book is really an advertisement for the author's book on self-help. While his points seem worthwhile, the fact that he isn't transparent about his motivation and intent leaves me cold. Apple should reclassify this book out of biographies and memoires. Wes

Alex-Ender's Prototype. I recently read the philosophical sci-fi "Ender's Game" and the rest of the series and parallel stories by Orson Scott Card. As I was reading that series, I was thinking that the story of Ender's young life was modeled after Alex-ander the Great. The investigation of this idea lead me to this powerful book. I recommend anyone to read this book, especially if that person has any desire to achieve success in any endeavor.

Terrible. I bought this book through the ibook store expecting to find a biography of Alexander the great. What I found was a poorly written treatise on the definition of genius and about 30 pages that actually described Alexander the great. I read it in less than 25 minutes. There is probably more material in a high school term paper than in this "book".This was a rip off for $7.99. Compare this to a 900 page plus masterful biography by David McCullough, Truman, that cost me $5.95 at a local used bookstore. Refund, Apple?

Superb. Brilliant book. I received much more insight the previously thought into not only his quests and voyages, but the skills and mindsets behind them.

Read this!. A fabulous easy quick read - written not in historical jargon but in contemporary language. Even better are the insights at the end that draw on the specific attributes of Alexander the Great that ultimately led to his amazing exploits. These insights really 'spoke to me' and have inspired me. Thank you!!

So much more than the title suggests!. I wanted to learn about Alexander the Great so I bought this and got much more than I bargained for. Now I’m on to his Tesla book and the authors audio book about genius. Thanks very much for some a stimulating read as well as the names of the remarkable people who I also searched the apple book store for. The review link didn’t work so I did it as normal. Very thoughtful.. This book brings the true meaning to human drive. It’s what separates us from all the wonderful creatures of the world. To do something because you feel it must be done. Not to eat or reproduce. Some insurmountable force from deep with your brain. Using clever examples it highlights these qualities that exist in some of us and promises that we can all find a way to follow the same path - if we find the right goal.

Fantastic!. The ideas and concepts explored while using the primary case study of Alexander the Great was compelling to read. The inspirational story of Alexander's achievement, particularly for a History student, really aids in making the connections between historical and present societal issues, and the concepts of 'work' and 'resistance' are highly relatable to modern life while giving an aid to removing the day to day apathy one can develop. Helped me through this week, at least. Good work.

First book that i fell in love with. Amazing book that explains things very clearly and great lessons to be learnt.

An inspiring and self motivating masterpiece.. This is by far my favourite and most helpful book I have read. It explores not only the basic, widely available ideas and concepts of being a genius but also the deeper and just as essential parts of self drive that everyone needs to ensure their success. This has helped my motivation and self worth greatly.

Thoroughly Enjoyed. It was a very good read and one of the first books I have read in a while. It is not too long and if you’re as interested in History as me then give it a read.
