Guilty Wives. Awesome! Couldn't put it down!

Good and Bad. This book has a complex and sophisticated plot. But my one and only complaint is that the in prison days for the four women was FAR too graphic and FAR too long. This was unnecessary to the success of the book. While reading the in prison part, I almost just gave up on the book. The story was no fun too read here, and even depressing. And it seemed to never end. The book editor really should have ordered a fix. I stuck with it, and it got good and enjoyable later. But I fear many readers would just put it down. Too bad no one wised up this author. Too bad Patterson did not speak up. Could have been excellent. Instead only fair.

Intense. The story grabs you from the beginning. As the plots unfold it becomes more and more intense. His description of prison life was chilling and gripping. Great book!

This was an exceptional Book! Get it!. Yu won't be disappointed, original ratings were on the money. Considering is was a less expensive book it was well worth the read. There was a little dragging out of the jail scene but it was still a great quick read as most all James Patterson's books I've read have been. Although the women murder club 12th of never was definitely laking in the normal form of the group dynamics but still an okay read.

Who cares. Worst book I’ve ever read by Patterson and I’ve read a lot. Characters were lifeless and the plot was filled with gratuitous violence and redundant sex. Skimmed through the pages just to get to the predictable end.

Amazing Thriller. This like any other James Patterson book did not disappoint. I loved how the book started with a tragic loss and then takes us through what happened to these four women in Monte Carlo. The book took a huge twist when you find out that their husbands actually set them up for murder as revenge for a spicy night on the town with other men.

Great book. The pickup of this book is slow however the climax and ending are well worth it!

Not bad, but…. A very good story, but in his effort to reach female readers, he writes too much like a female author, and overdoes it, at that. Too much detail of each room, each outfit, each thought. Too much repetition of character’s thoughts. Even my wife got bored and said “Only 3 stars”.

I liked it. I thought this book was good! I thought it was a pretty easy read and found it interesting. There were times I couldn't put it down. I think it's definitely worth the purchase.

Decent airplane book. Let me start by saying I'm not much of a reader anymore, but download books occasionally for plane flights. My sister raves about Patterson, so I thought I'd try one. Not much character development, little background about characters marriages, which should have been a major detail. The French prison stories dragged on and on, however. When the murders were ultimately solved, the book was basically over, with vague details about how the crimes were actually committed. There are likely better choices for plane flight reading!

Guilty Wives. By Boysmumas What a surprise to find a Patterson stand alone book this entertaining. I found the twists and turns plausible and the stupidity of these women believable. A very fun read.

I really liked this one!. Honestly, I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this mystery. The title didn't exactly turn me on but no matter what it's called, I always check out Patterson's books. This one had me hooked from start to finish. Impressed.

Unbelievable, slow to move on, short on quality adventure. The narrator was fabulous! I had expected to follow twists and turns throughout the story of the main character trying to "solve the mystery", but found it difficult to get through the first 7 hours which were mostly of a horrible prison experience that went on and on. Very depressing. And then what seemed a rather quick shallow and unbelievable resolution the book was over.

Run Away!. Badly written, grammatically grating, interesting plot but the characters were very poorly developed. Mr. Ellis writes of the type of women he knows nothing about. And they appear like caricatures. Hold out for something smarter!

Awesome book. I just finished Guilty Wives. It was an awesome book. I could not put it down and wound up finishing it in 2 days. I hadn't read a book in a few years due to time constraints. I went to iBooks and looked at the best sellers and found Guilty Wives. It hooks you from the first chapter and you can't put it down. Now that I finished this book, I'm looking for a new Patterson book to read again. I would highly recommend this book.

Patterson never lets us down. Guilty Wives was a great book. It really showed Abbie's perseverance and her will power to never give up. This book also shows and reminds the readers of actually how powerful friendships and family are. At the end giving Abbie's children their mother back kept her always pushing on. Entertaining. While the plot is a bit far fetched, thee is enough intrigue to keep turning pages. The end is predictable but interesting. Quite honestly, while I do understand it is a work of fiction, the depiction of the French criminal justice system and the penitentiary, sounds more as it belongs to Darfur than France. It makes the CIA deals with real terrorists look like a kindergarten teacher

Shallow, transparent - it's time to get back to writing books that were of the same quality of the earlier Cross novels and stop churning out mass produced junk to make a buck! Color me disappointed!
