Amazing Series!. The entire series is amazing! These books were one of the first romance novels that I read, and was so happy that I chose them! The characters feel real, their interactions are funny, and super sexy. But Landon goes beyond the sex and creates an intriguing plot for you to stay interested in for all three books! I highly recommend them!

I found myself reading into the wee hours on the weekend and at every spare opportunity during the week. I appreciate how the author careful linked the past with the present. Clearly a gifted/talented writer that as the story continued to unfold ensured that so many bits and pieces from previous conversations were not forgotten and were carefully and thoughtful woven into the story. Story is excellent!. I enjoyed the story and the characters very much. There is a lot of sexual details but the story itself takes that over! I didn’t care fir how it ended as the story goes over at least two more books.

Unbearable. The characters have zero depth. The story lacks any sort of development. The plot line is painfully incoherent. In the end, it simply suffers from an author who is trying too hard. The Sophomoric writing style makes me wonder how she ever made a best sellers list. Example: There's no need to justify why our heroine is on birth control. It's a prudent decision. Enough said. Explain less, develop more.

AMAZINGLY GOOD BOOK!. I had stubbles upon Sydney Landon books. Am working my way through the Danvers series and while waiting on the next one to come available at my library I started reading Pierced. I was hooked on the first chapter! Had to force myself to put the book down so I could get sleep. I just wish I was able to access my Apple Books at work cause it drove me insane not being to know what happens next. I will agree with the other readers that the cliffhanger endings drive you insane but it also makes you want to dive right into the second book. I can’t wait to see what happens with Luc and Lia.

So good, so good!. Ok....no spoilers! Loved this book and I'm definitely reading the rest of the trilogy. Exciting characters, lots of cliffhangers, and the best sex scenes I've read in a long time. This story is a bit edgier than most, so be warned!

Pierced. I didn't think you could write a book any lamer than 50 Shades of Grey but apparently I was wrong. Not only is this book a virtual carbon copy of 50 Shades but it's even more poorly written and lacking in class. Had me rolling my eyes the entire time. I can't put it down, not because I'm captivated but because I'm cheap and I paid for it so unfortunately I'll finish this juvenile poorly written knock off.

Poorly written. Sentence structure, grammar, and speech are not authentic. Very fake, robotic and unrealistic. Who in their right mind would speak the words “Do explain that statement.” ? Couldn’t finish the book.

Part one of a trilogy. The attraction between them is unbelievable and happens faster than it takes me to choose which pizza I want. At no point would a victim of nipple abuse from her stepdad, tie dental floss around them for fun.

Predictable. I did enjoy the book, however, I found it quite predictable and a lot of it was like a copy cat, more 'vanilla' version of fifty shades. The ending has annoyed me as well, to much of a cliffhanger for the time you have to wait. Written well, would read again, good for a little read when you're in-between books.

Hmmmmmm. Starts off very immature and cringeworthy! She giggles, takes photos off him, snorts through her nose, acts childish. Then for some inexplicable reason they quickly sleep together and fall head over heels- cringe. Can't take to any of the characters, not written very well and quickly started skim reading just to get it over with. Very predictable.

Surprised me. This was a guilty pleasure. I call these types of books; "my junk food". Simply written, quick read, and contains the standard formula of characters that already exist in multiple books. Lucian, the impossibly good looking millionaire who is conveniently single. Lia, the struggling college student who, of course, feels out of place in the world. In addition, she somehow does not know the effects of taking NyQuil even though her full scholarship to university should justify her intelligence. Complete idiot. My first impression of this book was that everything feels illogical. If there was a person in real life who uttered half of Lucian's dialogue to me, I would go to the police. Complete psychopath. Yet, I could not stop reading. Slowly finding out the characters have dark and disturbing secrets, I was surprised. I grew to love the idiot and the psychopath. And, this book was pretty funny. There were many spicy sex scenes but also contained shocking, sincere, and emotional moments. The ending hit me really hard. I became so attached to these characters and engrossed in the story that I felt I was Lia. I instantly bought the next book in this series once I finished crying.
