It was good butttt…. The story was good but there was not enough plot. I would’ve loved to see more of a developed romance between the characters. The backstory was short which I was ok with. However some parts weren’t explained enough and could have been implied better.

I read both losers part 1 and 2 before reading The dare (I know that’s not the correct order) and let me just say reading the ending of this book and KNOWING WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN makes me feel so many emotions. Anyways I love being able to finally see the crazy Halloween night they shared and always talk about in the future. Again, Harley has done it with their amazing writing. I loved every second of this. They are an auto buy author for me.

I’ll never been the same…. I guess I’ve always had a thing for smut and have enjoyed exploring the essence of sexuality, in both art, and acts, however, this is one of the first times, I was truly shaken. I love smut and I enjoy to feel safe to let myself imagine scenarios, Dare, was a book I happened to get while being bored and I finished it the same day, short read, yet the uneasy feeling in my stomach, the beating of my heart as I read continuously, was unforgettable, as if I was in the story with Jess and Manson and the 3 clown boys who I still find myself imagining. Manson I can’t get out of my head, his demeanor, his confidence, yet the way he makes readers feel uneasy, an ignition of something that I forget existed within me, a fire to remind us as readers to never stop imaging nor enjoy the unshakeable feelings of lust, anger, even love.

The dare. Starting the first book immediately I love Manson so much 😭🫣

Intense but couldn’t stop reading. This book is definitely out of my comfort zone, but regardless I read it and I don’t regret it. The main character Jess was very brave because I would of tapped out on the spanking part lol, I like that she has a safe word and that everything was done consensually. Over all the book was a fast read but good and I enjoyed it.

This read wasn’t my cup of tea... I gave this one a shot as I thought it was short enough and a good price. Finished in just a few hours. This book revolves around public embarrassment as the female MC loses a game of beer (dare) pong and has to be the male MC’s “slave” for the evening..and the dialogue between them honestly made me cringe (& not in a good way). I love spicy books but this one just didn’t do it for me.

Great quick read!. An absolutely amazing novella. This book is more than just a quick spicy read. There is so much depth to the two main characters that you can’t help but want more. The spice was A+ but the writing truly brought you into Jess’ headspace as she explores and learns about herself in a way she never intended at the hands of Manson. I’m happy to have read this and learned that there’s a continuation to this story , too.

Short and sweet. Quick and easy read. The transition of the characters from high school to college was accurate. I liked how the “loser” forced the “popular girl” to grow up and try something new. It was a fun read hopefully there is a second one to this one.

Fantastic! I’m hooked, I need to read the next book!. This is one quick, fun, spicy and intense intro novella for the Losers series. *Make sure you check the content warnings the author has placed at the beginning of the book.* This was my first book by Harley, and it won’t be my last. She captivated me from the start. I loved watching Jess discover new things about herself after being thrust into a game and a dare by the guy, along with his friends (who show up too 😏) that she bullied in high school. Manson was so much more than I could ask for. He was dominate and in control, but was able to understand Jess’ needs while being swoony. I loved little bit of vulnerability he let out with her. We didn’t get too deep into the characters in this one, but got just enough about their past to understand their dynamic and of what could happen next that I’m hooked, curious and dying to know more about all of these characters and their stories. I can easily see myself getting lost in this world, because there is so much more to them all and this one created great teasers for the next full length book. 4.5⭐️

Sinfully Good. I’ve only read one of Harley’s other books but I loved it so I had a good feeling about The Dare and it exceeded all my expectations! Even though it’s a relatively short book it packs a lot in without feeling rushed, the storyline and character progression feels organic and I felt connections with both Jessica and Mason. Everything in the book is consensual and safe words and check in are used throughout the story but please read the content warning at the beginning of the book because this isn’t for the faint of heart :) I throughly enjoyed the story and I’m looking forward to reading more of Harley’s work!

a rollercoaster. really enjoyed this book but wow lol. it really took me all over the place. on one hand hot, but on the other, ummmm?? the whole “consensual non-consent” part kinda gave me the creeps. it sort of seems like a rape kink but the author wanted to make manson seem like “not a rapist” when it borderline feels like it. anyway aside from that it was a really fun read for only like $5.

When I bought the book to read after hearing such great things about it, I was a little bit skeptical, but it did not disappoint reading it was wild, refreshing, and the book had something for everyone. Now maybe the whole book isn’t for you but this read was a great one nonetheless, I enjoyed the characters who felt real and vulnerable. Would 100% recommend just remember your limits, and can’t wait to read other books from this author.

master, please. to say this book had me squirming is an understatement to say the least! I loved this story & these two characters! I love how Manson can read Jess like a book & doesn’t give in to her without showing her who she is. she was willingly hiding behind a facade even herself didn’t love, just loved the societal aspects of it. but in reality she wanted something else entirely, something only “the freak” could give her.
