The alchemist review. This book is an amazing read. I love how the author sets up the plot and explains the setting. As I’m reading it feels like I am watching a movie as the author set of imagery with clarity. In the book the characters are simple to remember and they have personalities.

The Alchemist. I love the book. I took a lot of notes from what the book was saying and will apply it to my life.

What did I just read?. This book was a hard read. The author switches the between who’s story/thoughts we are following with little to no indication of who’s thoughts you are reading now. Also I’m convinced this was written by an adult who could write good and then a 5 year old would take over for a page, and then the adult would take back over. I had a love hate relationship with this book until the very end. However once I read the ending, it was like 70% hate. I will never read this again, and never recommend to anyone. If anyone wanted to discuss this book with me, I’d probably roll my eyes.

Enjoyable Book. I’m not the type of person to leave reviews but this book speaks to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re in your early 20’s or late 50’s this book is so relatable. I’m 21 and figuring out my way through life still and this book helped me view my journey differently. My work journey, school journey, relationships and etc. It reminded me that sometimes you just have to stop and hear the Language of the World. The sound of the wind blowing through the trees, the sound of birds chirping in the morning or even the sound of cars stuck in traffic.

Great read!. This book was so intriguing. It’s motivating, and inspiring. No wonder it’s a classic.

The Timely Omen. I started this book two years ago, not finishing past halfway through the book. At this point and time in my life I was really starting to realize self in following my true Personal Legend. Now fully immersed in my true purpose, I started the book over right before the year ended last year. Transitioning into an unknown but yet exciting next chapter in my journey, my heart gravitated to this piece to remind me that I’m living everything God has made me to live. Amazing book!

Philosophy is the reason we do not understand one another. This book tells of how all things are simple just that. All things are related and we have to listen to ourselves, to our hearts, and to the world. For life repeats itself and we are just apart of the cycle of love that fuels life. And that is all. Philosophy is taking this simple yet poetic way to describe life and in turn forces us to stray away and question the simplicity of all things. When really all things are just that. Simple. This book will let you decide for yourself if you’ve been listening to the world or being guided by others interpretations.

Life progressing. For me this book was read at a time in my life where I needed it the most. The story of Santiago and his personal legend is one full of surprises and hope for better days. I felt enriched after having read the book. With the knowledge that all is achievable with the proper mindset.

Alcomist. Best book I ever read.

MUST READ. I read this in one sitting. Couldn’t put it down!!!

A constant read to escape ones reality. I love this book and find myself reading it over and over as an escape.

The Alchemist. The Alchemist is one of the best books I’ve read. The storytelling is absolutely inspiring —it has motivated and assured me to continue chasing my personal legend. I love the spiritual wisdom and proverbs that Paulo Coelho describes through the old King and The Alchemist. An excellent read and definitely a book to have on the book shelf at home.

The Alchemist. As with other stories, the author passes on life lessons through his parable-like storytelling. It has been a pretty good recipe for success for him, and makes for interesting, and enlightening reading.

Quick read, entertaining, self development. This is my favorite book because it is an interesting story told in such a way that you become self reflective and aware and it makes you want to appreciate more. This story is like a self development book, except it is told through a fictional story about a boy who goes and sets out to find treasure and he (and you) learn so much on the way. I occasionally come back to this book when I need motivation or to self reflect. This is an absolute masterpiece & so beautifully written. If you’re thinking about buying, I suggest you do!

Outmoded & Overrated. This book, which I had wanted to read for over fifteen years, turns out to be an excruciatingly long bible verse full of outmoded and racist stereotypes. It’s probably one of the most overrated and overhyped books of all time. It might have worked much better as a children’s book, minus about 135 pages and stripped of the offensive cultural references.

Third times a charm, but so were the first and second as well. Looking forward to reading a third time

The Alchemist,. I hope you will not pay too much attention to what I am about to say. Given that I am doing this for the first time and excited having red this famous book. I don’t have much to say about it because for me , it a story everyone should read to realize your true identity and your purpose in life. I have no doubt that most people are like me. Being in your comfort zone and agree with what you called your destiny, there is no need to pursue anything else because you already have it. At your age, you are satisfied with who you are and your accomplishment regardless how insignificant it may be. I have countless time tried to silence the voice of adventurous spirit that is telling me that there is more, much more for me to achieve. My destiny is in the distance and waiting for my encounter. However, excuses, failure and the voice of trial and error that I have made during the spring and summer of my journey are reminding me that I have reached the zenith and I should take pride instead of my accomplishment. The Alchemist is reminding me like the Englishman, I need to listen to my heart and continue the quest of my treasure. Now knowing that when you set out to do something, the whole universe is bound to help you. With that true being exposed to us, the book invites all of us, at least those who dare facing their destiny and set out to meet it whether in Andalusia, in the Oasis or in Egypt to begin the journey. With patience, determination and the will to succeed, you may begin the journey said the Alchemist. There is no Guarantee you will get there but what is guarantee is: trying is the only guarantee to ever have the chance if you decide. It is a fact that the Alchemist teaches patient enough and helps us understand that to get what we want in life, we have to be ready to face the challenges laid out on the road of success.
