When she's not writing swashbuckling historical romances and playing medieval matchmaker, bestselling author Glynnis Campbell (also writing as Sarah McKerrigan and Kira Morgan) is a cartoon voice, the wife of a rock star, and the mother of two young adults. She's been a ballerina, a typographer, a film composer, a piano player, a singer in an all-girl rock band, and a voice in those violent video games you won't let your kids play. She does her best writing on cruise ships, in Scottish castles, on her husband's tour bus, and at home in her sunny southern California garden. Very different plot. Fast, sexy and very enjoyable!
Loved it and the characters were so likable. Really enjoyed.
I love this author because she strings just the right words together to bring an emotion out of you, as any good author should! The characters are wonderful (Desirée may be one of my favorite literary heroines of all time, and I absolutely love Nicholas), the plot keeps you guessing, and the setting feels so real. I loved it!
I enjoyed this book, I am sure a lot of these things happened by just reading history.

Glynnis Talken Campbell (born Glynnis Gail Talken on June 12, 1957, in Chico, California) is an American historical romance author, composer, musician and voice actress, and is married to bass guitarist Richard Campbell. Glynnis Campbell graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Vocal Music Performance. Her first novel, My Champion, was nominated for a Romance Writers of America's RITA award for Best First Book and Best Long Historical Romance in 2001. In 2009, her novel Danger's Kiss, received the "Book Buyers Best Award for Historical Romance." She has also written under the pen names Sarah McKerrigan and Kira Morgan. Career After college, Glynnis Talken joined the Los Angeles-based all-girl rock band The Pinups, signed to CBS records. After a short time, she left the band, but quickly found work doing voice-overs while composing scores with her husband for Coronet Films. She was given the role of Julie Winters in an MTV animated series based on a graph....
