Pretty good. Historically inaccurate in some places. Silk, for instance didn’t arrive to Scotland until the 1300’s. But a fun romp of a read.

Lady Danger. Great read

Exciting and unexpected!. After I got a few chapters in I couldn’t put this book down. I was hoping it would be mildly entertaining. It was exciting, the story line unique, and the sexual tension was top notch. It could have been richer with a little more detail. But it really lacks nothing. I’m sure I’ll be re-reading this one.

Retribution. I loved reading how these women carried out their retribution against what they thought of as usurpers.

Great Adventure. Very well written. Pulled me into the story and kept me there. It is action packed and steamy.

Very slow start. Difficult to get into- but enjoyable if can make it through the boring first third of the book

Well written. Loved and hated the main character Deirdre. Too headstrong for her own good. It was annoying to see her think she knows everything and to think she was always right. Overall, the story was well written, but the stubbornness of the character made the it unlikeable.

Too stubborn, no romance. I couldn't read this. The woman is too stubborn and I couldn't find the romance. It's not my kind of love story.

Really good. I really liked this book, despite some of the lesser reviews(if you don’t like the language of the times, don’t read it, try expanding your dialect) Glynis’s Campbell has become of of my favorite historical romance authors and this book is just more reason why. The way she transcends the story and really creates characters that are relatable, it’s just amazing! Great read! Always excited to follow up with the next book.

Loved it!!!. I was riveted all the way to the end (barely put the book down). Pagan & Deidre’s characters, and story was well written. The author did leave obvious clues as to the next book and the characters (Helena & Colin). I’m more eager to learn about Miriel’s future husband and if anyone will figure out that Sung Li is “The Shadow” and have been secretly teaching Miriel to fight. Great book and I do like this author’s work so far.

Glynnis Campbell certainly has a talent for drawing the reader in with her detailed descriptions of her characters, including their conflicting emotions. Honor, respect, courage, trust, responsibility --- qualities important to both Deirdre & Pagan --- make them special. I enjoyed the careful language (wording) they used in their "deal-making". Thanks, Ms. Campbell, for the pleasure your book gave me.

Strong 💪 Women!! Love it. Loved the strong women story line and the story line was great, too!!

Strong Women. A wonderfully action packed love story set in a castle on the Scot border. Female characters that represent everything a real woman can be, & heroic male characters that embody the best of what men should be.

Strong female. This author is my absolute favorite. The books are so well written. Great characters and the story line had me hooked from the start. The strong female character is powerful without being stupid. The male is is equally as strong without being mean. They just fit together so well. Not once did the book get boring. I will be buying the rest of this authors books!

Lady danger. Loved it.

Tough but Worthy. This was a hard story to get into at first. It seems as though the male lead (Pagan) is too wrapped up in his own nonsense to realize how awesome the female lead (Deirdre) is. It's only through third-party intervention that the story changes, which I found rather unfortunate. It would've been nice to see Pagan realize his error on his own. On the whole, an amazing novel, well-researched, and good fun. With a lighter touch and longer manuscript, this could've been another Outlander.

Page Turner. Glynnis Campbell has begun a riveting new series with Lady Danger. Relatable, interesting characters that keep you entertained. A plot with twists and turns keep it moving. I couldn’t put it down. This books deserves a 20, but 5 is the best, so that’s the rating. ENJOY!

Power to the Women!!. At first the language was a bit hard to understand but the more you read, the more it just clicks in your brain. I really enjoyed the sisterhood dynamic, it was intriguing and hilarious. Absolutely loved how the men would get so frustrated with the girls, their reactions were priceless!!

Strong female. Was hoping for a strong female character that isn’t trodden all over... I’ve never been so frustrated and angry reading a book

Lady Danger. This is the second time I read this book, but it was real good. I started on my iPad about 2013. I have followed Ancestry and found Scottish. English and Irish on my list. I am way back some of my ancestors lived this life.

Why?. I love books that are dated as this story is but I’m wasn't born then nor do I want to read as they talked then. It’s confusing and not worth reading. You can write a story in this time period the way we talk now and it will have the same meaning.

No. I couldn’t finish. It probably got great but I don’t like books where the main characters are so horrid. I prefer strong sweet women instead of nasty ones. Hard to continue with the way the sisters were.
