Story of courage. Tessa was very brave and a delight to come to know through the writer. I enjoyed Dean and his family both the kids and the brothers. I didn't give five stars because the ending was a bit rushed.

This book drags onnnnn. I really tried to like this book. The plot is good but the characters and writing are a bit underdeveloped also it just never got to the point where you can't put it down. The book wasn't descriptive enough. I would pass!

Westward End. I appreciated how all the characters life were described in such detail, and how Tessa came to her decision. Her new endeavor was also brought out in such a way you could really picture the countryside, the people and lifestyle . Enjoyed it very much.

Westward Winds. I love it when I find a new author and wonderful book in a series! And this author is so prolific! I need to clean my reading glasses and start ordering more!! Great book and a wonderful cast of characters! I so fell in love with them all!

Meh. It was free so I can't complain too much but the book just felt so long I had trouble making myself finish it. The problem they had to get over seemed insignificant and Tessa just bugged me. More than anything the writing was just so-so...everything felt phony and a bit amateur.

Eh..... It was boring, to be honest. I kept waiting for more action and was left wanting. It took too long for Dean and Tessa to figure it out, and I kept wishing there was more to the plot than that.

Westward Winds. A really heartfelt story of two people that were struggling hard with their own feelings. The emotional ups and downs are so real and true to life, that I didn’t want to put the book down.

Captivating Lovestory. This book is a refreshing change from other books I have read that are set out west. It is a sweet positive love story & each character adds depth to the tale. I only wish Dean & Tessa would have figured out their issues sooner & the rest of the book could have been about their experiences!

Lacking. This book doesnt fit together the main character fought to get to the west got there and then fought wit her husband because his brother wrote letters to her instead of himself. No 3 page sex scenes - maybe a 3 -4 sentences of sex . Smh dont even bother no wonder its free

Linear. Very good personal relationships and interesting "lessons" with a sense of reality. And yet there was little personal or life tension enticing continued reading except the last few chapters. Could have begun on train ride or general store with the background emotional trepidations interwoven with the developing love.

Westward Winds. Good start to the overall story. Hoping the next book picks up where this one left off.

You get what you pay for. This free book started with a good idea of a story, unfortunately, the characters, dialogue, even the setting seemed to be stiff and forced. The conversations were unrealistic and odd most times as the author tried to force the story to go in the direction it should have easily flowed. There are so many things that could have been done to make this more natural, but instead the story falls flat even with it’s happy ending.

I have always loved Westerns and we just drove across the U.S. to CA where we talked about what it would have been like for all those early settlers. Amazing. I loved this book, I laughed, shed tears, got upset and every emotion in between. I was sad for it to end so quickly. The only problem with this book is the description when I decided to get to read the book. It made the characters to be different than the book really is, Tessa is tired of her family not listening to her that’s why she ran away. So she answered a bride ad and meet Dean. She did find Dean not so open with his feelings and she felt again she wasn’t being heard. The description made it seem he demanded a meek woman and he was aggravated about it. But the story is different I don’t think that’s what he wanted he just was having a hard time learning to deal with his feelings and it was easier to shove his feelings down. It also said he was not happy she she could not take care of the home and children. NOT she jumped right in and took cooking lessons from a neighbor and worked with the children school lessons and played with them. There is no where in the book that indicated he was upset with her, in the book he thought her cooking improving, that was the extent of that. Confusing....Even the neighbors children loved her. So I’m not sure why the author thought it was okay to make the book sound like it did in the description. iTunes do not have the other books in this series, they have audio but not the books. I found the other books on Amazon.

re: Mail Order Bride: Westward Winds. Absolutely loved this book, so much so that I completed this book in less than 2 days. It was kind of like what I used to do when I was a teenager. I was such a bookworm that I always had my face deep in a book & I was also always getting into to trouble as I would always choose a book over anyone or anything else. I am really impressed that your writing has brought me back to those days & I look forward to reading more in this series & becoming a bookworm again with each book I read. ☺️😍

Enchanting. I found this story to be enchanting. I loved the main character's sense of self and that she knew what she wanted and went for it. The setting of Montana was quaint and the characters were all very humble. Looking forward to the next installment!

Westward winds. A well written novel with enough background info to allow the author to build on without getting bogged down. The human responses through out the story were believable and easy to relate to I was pleased with the ending. Over all a good read.

Easy reading. Good storyline, strong characters. Great dialogue capturing the intensity of two people, who are polar opposites. Sub characters are also interestingly woven and drawn into the plot of the story. All in all a recommended enjoyable read.
