So I got the boxed set of the three first books. I can tell you they were amazing reads, especially if you want to escape from this harsh and cruel world to the utopia you always wanted. Big ups to the “SJ”, I’d have loved to continue the series but I can’t afford them 😭. Oh well, thanks a lot for these ones.

This book is boring, the main character is pathetic. People has issues, the get scared and don't want to get hurt, but they way the author made this woman act is ridiculous. Drama is the same as other books and plot very predictable, the only nice thing from the book was the ring. Also I didn't like the "hints" about the other books, there are too many. Waste of time reading, good thing it was free.

I absolutely love this book...I can relate to Emma in this story...jack in the story is the exact kind of man I'd like to meet... Love like that is very far a few between...I am learning to write children's books for now but would love to one day write a romance novel of my own

Very immature writing!!! Dialogue of teens, not of real life adults. Grammar errors were to distracting!! It was the kind of forgetful, and blah.....blah story!! No need to read more from this author. If her other books are like this, why bother??

The author used very good details. I'm really excited to keep reading. I will say there are a few steamy details but it's good in general. Looks like I'll be reading a lot more. Maybe a new thing for me to do..

After I finished with a trilogy of books, I found myself wanting more, I needed to find another book I could fall in love with, and this book was perfect for the job! I fell in love with the characters right away, and I was hooked from the very beginning. Once I started reading it, I could not put down! It was, in the writer's own words "sweet and steamy". It was romantic, but at the same time it was HOT! I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance.

An easy to read romance that was well written. The main character is likable other than her stubbornness when it came to having a relationship, but that was the point of the story so kinda hard to get around that. I liked it all in all.

There simply wasn't enough plot for this book. The "heroine", and I use that term loosely, wasn't likable at all. She knew from the start what her hang ups were and the root causes, yet she didn't want to do anything to change. The result is a book where the plot recycles itself over and over while the main character repeats her mistakes and her friends tell her she's stupid for the umpteenth time. There's a reason why that's not a more common romance plot device: it just doesn't work.

Good read. Well thought out. Author was thorough and was good about the little details. This wasn't my favorite female heroin but at least she was different and the story seemed more about the emotions and characters than about sex and how rich the person was. OdelB - It won't hurt to read

Its the first time I read this story written by SJ McCoy. I was fascinated and could not put it down. It got me addicted to buy all the series while reading it one a time. So far this is one of my favourites this year.

I loved this book I to was hurt and have trouble trusting love it certainly gave me something to think about maybe I need to trust that my husband of 47years really does love me as much as he has showed me over the years he is so special and I know he loves me I have no dought about that he has always been there for me when I allow him to be. I just am not sure why do I dare to believe I am loveable? This book was wonderful thank you for your gift of this book I can't wait to read the other books you wrote keep up the writing.

Loved this book, particularly the more realistic development of a romance between two people. Instant attraction but then a lovely back and forth as the relationship develops. Funny, heartwarming and the characters are interesting. Can't wait to read the next books.

I really liked this book,there were a couple of times when the female lead character needed to wake up and realise what a lucky girl she was. Jack is hot and sexy and wow!overall a sweet and steamy book. Noticed that there's more books re the other characters( who were likeable) but not about Ben. Will Ben have his own story?
