Anyway, I have read all of her books and they are all great. Amazing even. This book has a little different feel and plot and it’s wonderful. It’s well written, funny, and hot with a smidge of angst; just the way I like it! Can you say Fireman/Construction worker/Last name as a first name = awesome!! Smith and Jamie have been friends for a while and have feeling for each other but she’s afraid he’s not romantic enough for her and he’s worried that he’s not good enough for you. His player reputation is stopping Jamie from even trying until one night he asks her to dance. That’s it, just a dance and everything changes. She let’s loose and he starts to fall. They are both afraid of getting hurt but she thinks a week together will be perfect for her and he agrees, but wants more. Can he show her that he’s the man she’s always wanted? Will she run at the first sign of trouble? You have to read it to find out! Do not miss this one! He had a sinful combination of smolder and charm, with his close-cropped dark blond hair, strong jawline, and pure blue eyes. And his body, Just kill her with its perfection. A body like that should be outlawed. Taking a one-way ride on the Smith train and then she’d get off it for good. He was the very reason there were fireman calendars, and fireman erotica, and let’s face it, fireman fantasies.

Don’t waste your time. The characters had zero depth and it was almost a high level overview of a romance novel. Completely not relatable considering it happened over a 2 week time frame. No substance to the story. She was a hopeless romantic and he was a hot firefighter that liked sex. Terrible story

Burn For Me. I have just recently discovered Lauren, I know how did I miss this! But she is on my must read list now. This book is a sweet romance with a very hot, no pun intended, fireman. This is the first book in a series. On to the next book.

Sizzling!!!. Smith and Jamie had been friends for a while. They have great conversation, they flirt with each other, and they are just friends. Jamie likes Smith but didn't want to be another notch on his bedpost. He was everything she didn't want but secretly did and didn't know it. Smith wants Jamie but can't find a way to convince her that he is relationship material. They agree on a one week, no strings attached, friends with benefits arrangement. That gives Smith one week to convince her to give them a chance at something real. Will it be enough? I love how he brings out her naughty side. When she starts using naughty words she surprises herself. Too funny! It's kind of heartbreaking to see a man with a carefree past, find the one woman he wants forever with, try to convince her that she's it for him and she doesn't believe or trust him. Great story line! Another hit for Lauren Blakely! I can't wait for the next book in this fantastic series, Fighting Fire. Who doesn't love hot firemen?
