Lost in Me is the first book in the Here and Now series, a spin-off of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Hope series. This sexy amnesia love triangle is intended for mature readers.

~ ~

The last thing I remember is having drinks at Brady’s and trying to avoid eye-contact with my life-long crush—the gorgeous, unattainable Maximilian Hallowell. They tell me that was a year ago, but I have no memories of anything since then. What I do have is this ring on my finger that Max says he gave me, and this much-thinner body I’ve dreamed of most of my life. Aside from a case of retrograde amnesia, everything seems almost...perfect.

But the deeper I immerse myself into this new world of mine—planning a wedding to a man I don't remember dating, attempting to run a business I don't remember starting—the clearer it becomes that nothing is as it seems. Do I have the life I’ve always wanted or is it a facade propped up by secrets I don't even know I have?

I need answers before I marry Max, and the only person who seems to have them is the angry, tatted, sexy-as-sin rocker Nate Crane. And Nate wants me for himself.

Love it. Absolutely enjoyed "Lost In Me" I just could not put this book down. I loved the book from page one and finished in one sitting. I cant wait for the second book. Thank goodness I waited to read this book so close to June. I loved the characters. The story line was very interesting. This book was well written. It was full of suspense, I kept wondering what was going to happen when her memories come back. I had my guesses but none of it turned out to be true to this book. And now I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next.

Great read!. I could hardly put it down. When I did, I kept thinking about the characters and what's gonna happen next. I love the characters. I love the chemistry. I will be sad when it ends

Straighttalker198

Too confusing. Not very good the storyline wasn’t clear. The snippets of the past mixed with the present was confusing and irritating.

Good read. The beginning of the book felt cliche but as it went on I got more invested in the characters. I loved how the author wrote this book in that everything was not as it seemed. Putting the pieces together was a fun puzzle. Would definitely recommend!

Good beginning to a promising series if you like cliffhangers and love triangles.. The anticipation is great. What a way to begin a story. Hanna wakes up in the hospital with amnesia. She does not remember the last year of her life. So here is where the story gets interesting. Hanna wakes up with bruises to her body and face, she has been informed that she fell down the stairs. But we are led to believe otherwise. Doctor Nix believes she might have been abused. Maybe it was Max, her fiancé. Basically, the author is going to lay out clues throughout the story and leave hints to what actually happened. I'm intrigued to learn the truth behind the bruises. That never gets disclosed. The story is told in both the past and present. One month intervals are revealed getting closer to the three month mark to when it all began. It's hot what Nate has Hanna do with the present he got her. Very arousing. I don't like the way the story ended with the cliffhanger ending. I see there are two more books and more drama and more truths revealed, but I'm not a fan of this uncertainty between choosing two men in this love triangle. This was a good beginning but it ends for me here. I can't fathom being drawn into more lies. It makes Hanna's decision that much more difficult and I can't bare to go through that. Rated three stars because I don't like sequels or cliffhangers. Written well.

Not at all what I expected!!. I couldn’t put it down!! I was literally consumed from beginning to end!

Lost in Me by Lexi Ryan. I was in the mood for a little color so I typed in the word erotic. Lost in Me was one of my choices. Trust me when I say that this book was NOT what I expected. If you're looking for the typical slut smut with no purpose porn, you will be sadly disappointed. Is there sex? Yes. Is it disgusting? Absolutely not. Lost in Me is an extremely well written story about a young woman who is injured in a fall, amnesia resulting, only to discover that she's in love with two men. One of whom has just planted a large rock on her finger, the other is a rock star who can offer her nothing. The author has tastefully woven the past and present. Fantastic character development. There will be tears and laughter and frustration but mostly, you will truly enjoy this endeavor. Five stars from page one to the last.

Lost In Me. That is exactly what will happen..... This is one of those books that too much information just might spoil the book for you and I don't want to do that! So, with that said, Lexi Ryan has done it again! I certainly became lost in this book! It got me from the beginning....again and was hard to put down .......again! Loved, loved, loved this book as I have all of her books! I cannot even begin to know what Hanna was feeling waking up and not knowing where the last 11 months has gone. Things were going her way, she was happy, getting married and then......gone! I can't wait to see exactly where Hanna's life will be going because, OH MY GOSH, that cliffhanger that you are warned about is just that. The triangle love between Hanna, Max and Nate is so good. Keeps you going wondering what will happen next. Nice to see former characters from the New Hope series too. I loved that series too. I can't spoil it any more so JUST READ IT. You will soon be taken in my their lives and not able to get enough fast enough! Make sure you have enough time to read because you will not want to stop. I'm a huge Lexi Ryan fan!!! I've read all of her books and love her writing. I'm so happy to see this series has 2 more books coming soon. Great job Lexi, just hurry up with the next two!!

Lost in Me. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of Lost in Me. Ever since I read Unbreak Me I have been a HUGE fan of Lexi Ryan. Lost in Me was certainly no disappointment! Yes, there is a gigantic cliff hanger (I’m talking hanging by one finger) with this book, but Lexi makes that VERY clear up front. I have been waiting for Hanna’s story ever since Unbreak Me and I literally stayed up all night reading this. Now I am not so patiently waiting for the remaining two books in this series. Lexi has an uncanny ability to really pull you into her characters with her outstanding writing ability. The flow of her writing and depth of character building literally pulls me in every time! This story is a love triangle, which I’m usually not a fan of, but this is not your typical triangle as the story starts with Hanna having amnesia. There are so many twists and turns in this, most you do not see coming…especially the “ending” until the last few pages. I do like Max, and have wanted a connection with him and Hanna since New Hope books began, but I’m putting it out there to say I am now on Nate’s side. His song lyrics for Hanna (I’m nobody's hero, baby. Try not to fall too deep. I'm nobody's angel, love, but you were crying in your sleep. I'm useless, empty, nothing, sugar. Wait around and then you'll see. You thought you'd find your answers, but now you're lost in me.) did me in!!! Love this book and will happily read the second knowing another huge cliffhanger is likely waiting in the end!

Cliffhanger from hell. When Hanna wakes up in a hospital bed, she has no idea how she got there. But what's even stranger is that she seems to have awakened in some dream world, where everything she's ever wanted has come true. She has her mother's approval, a sparkly ring on her finger, a flat stomach, her dream business, and the man she's been crushing on since she first discovered boys. But she doesn't remember a diet, a proposal, even a date with Max before he showed up as the doting fiance. In fact, she remembers nothing of almost a year of her life. And she certainly doesn't remember the tattooed musician who appears in her bed a few days later. But: If you hate cliffhangers as much as I do, don't even think of reading this book before you have all three books in the series in hand. While at least some of the mystery is resolved by the end of the book through recovered memories and conversations, everything of substance is left up in the air in the worst possible way. The Verdict: Wow. I thought I knew what I was getting into here. A book about someone who has amnesia is supposed to be pretty standard, very predictable. There's going to be some plot twist revealed just as some couple starts coming together, and the recovered memories are going to bring to light some dark secret that I'll have already figured out, thanks to heavy-handed foreshadowing and obvious clues. But not so with Lost in Me. Not at all. The last thing Hanna remembers before the apparent fall down the stairs that zapped her memories is being the overweight girl who wanted the unattainable guy. But according to her doctor and everyone else, that was almost a year ago, and it seems that her whole life has changed since then. She's lost tons of weight, and the guy wasn't so unattainable after all. In fact, he's practically perfect in his adoration of her, and while she may not remember how their relationship came about, she can see in his eyes just how real it all is. But there's a bit of a mystery as well, something stranger than just not being able to remember. For one, she and Max have apparently never slept together, and even though he says it's because she wanted to wait until they were married, she can't imagine herself having ever made that decision. And then when she wakes up to a man who she thinks is Max, only to find out he's a complete stranger who clearly knows her body way too well… Well, like anyone else would in her shoes, she completely freaks out. Does this mean she was cheating on Max? Were they broken up? And why is this guy saying he's in love with her? As the mystery of pretty much everything continued to unfold, I couldn't seem to guess correctly. I thought perhaps Max wasn't such a good guy, but then it looked like he didn't have a bad bone in his body. I thought perhaps Nate was the one for her, but then it became clear that he never made her any promises of a real relationship. There's an eating disorder, a doctor concerned that her fall wasn't a fall at all, friends she doesn't even remember, and a strange strain in her relationship with her sister. And then there was a cliffhanger from hell. By that point, I knew not everything would be resolved, and that book 2 would be an actual continuation, not just another added story. And while against all clues, I did manage to guess the cliffhanger before I got to it, I still wasn't prepared for the story to end on such an unfinished note. I'll give Lost In Me credit for saying to hell with all the cliches and creating a truly interesting story about someone suffering from amnesia, but the cliffhanger really killed off some of my love for it. Part of me wants to snatch up the next book right this second, and part of me wants to find a different series to get into, at least until I've scrounged up the money to buy Book 3 — it's cheap, but I'm cheaper. I think anyone who reads my reviews here knows that I do love to get lost in a series, but I hate feeling like I've been tricked into it. In any case, I imagine I'll finish off the series eventually. For now, though, I'm willing to bet that book 2 has a screwy ending as well, so I'm not gonna chance it before I have the last one lined up as well. While we're at it, Lexi Ryan is a new author for me, so if you've read her other stuff, I have to ask… Do all her series go all cliffhangery (<–totally a real word) like this?

Great story. So good. Loved that that it was bittersweet and not a happily ever after love story.

Keep you wanting more.... A gripping story and fantastic debut to the new lost and found series. Perfect for reading after new hope series or as the beginning of a stand alone series. Being reunited with all key characters whilst learning about new ones and learning of their journeys was key. Lexi Ryan is an accomplished writer that leaves you feeling you know each of the characters and that you are in their world. An author that has the ability to keep you enthral led in her stories of friendships, love, lust, lies, trust, heartache and joy. Yet another book you won't want to put down until you have finished and will then leave you wanting more and waiting in anticipation for the next release.
