I loved the characters and the story but the book had spelling errors and sentences that didn’t make sense. The proof reader should be fired.

I loved reading this story about a young woman whose family has been destroyed by scandal. She sets out upon revenge but ends up married to the man she thought caused the scandal.

My first bad review for a character. The main lead girl was just horrible and selfish throughout the story. She never seemed to fully repent for her actions and she failed to receive compassion as a character. Overall I did not like her and found myself rooting for the second lead girl because she seemed like a better option.

Twist and turns but in the end true love won out. Good job...looking forward to the next book.

The book was good. As other people have mentioned, secrets are present, specifically with the male lead. You do not know the whole back story in the beginning. I found myself asking questions and feeling confused. But, the author chooses to give out the secrets little by little, until finally the reader knows all, but the main characters do not. My only cirticism, and the reason i did not give it 5 stars, was becaue the male lead, although charing and likeable, was getting blackmailed from varous directions. I felt he lacked a backbone at times. These aspects also left the female lead kidn of just waiting around for the man to fix things.

This was fairly a well written story. It helped the reader to understand the way of life in those days. I thank God I live now.

This book was great. I was so pleasantly surprised. Do not pass this one up.

Very well written. The characters were so well portrayed that one is immediately drawn into their happy moments as well as their moments of despair. While the reader enjoys some sexual tension in an historical romance, this author provided just the right amount. The right amount meaning that the work of fiction had then ample time to develop the characters and the story line.

Couldn't put it down. Complex characters with death, mystery and romance in this book. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I found the two main characters to be quite well-developed; I rooted for them to be together. This is a book in which we readers know the "full story" well before the major players do, and I found my heart just aching about the terrible misunderstandings that precipitated the horrific events leading to the hero's & heroine's entire story. A few (relatively minor but present nevertheless) grammar-ish issues - things that "real" editing (meaning, as opposed to the kind that so many self-publishers pass off these days as editing) would have caught (for example, the correct word is "wont" not "want" when speaking of what someone is apt to do) - prevent me from giving this the full 5 stars. Were it possible, I would give this 4.5 stars.

About Kelly Boyce Wiki

Wolf Creek Ski Area (WCSA) is a ski area in southwest Colorado, located on the Wolf Creek Pass between Pagosa Springs and South Fork. It is best known for receiving more average annual snowfall than any other resort in Colorado, at about 430 inches per year. History First site on top of the pass During the 1930s, people were taming the mountains of Colorado by building highways and mountain passes. US Highway 160 was constructed as a new project connecting the San Luis Valley to Pagosa Springs. Prior to 1936, Cumbres Pass was the only direct route through the mountains in this area, and during heavy snowstorms it often closed. The construction project between San Luis and Pagosa Springs was dubbed Wolf Creek Pass. By 1938, construction on Highway 160 over the pass was complete. That same year, a group of budding skiers from the San Luis Valley, including a farmer named Kelly Boyce, created the Wolf Creek Ski Club and installed a rope tow on the north side near the summit of Wolf Cre...
