Excellent intro book on photography.. I really liked this book. I am an intermediate photographer and I was very impressed. The discussion of Aperature and lighting was spot on. You can also tell the publisher did a great job in laying out this book.

An Excellent Resource. As an experienced photographer, I often adjust camera settings on autopilot, without having to think about why I’m doing it. If asked to explain why, I can’t always put it in words. Jeff Curto’s iBook explains it all, in words, interactive images, and video. Consider this a reference book. It’s not just for beginners. If you’re new to photography, the concepts in here are invaluable!

Great book for some looking to beyond auto. First of all for a free a lot of effort has gone into this book. I have been shooting a long time and never quite had a grasp on the rule of 3rds. The author put it all together for me. Within the 48 pages are movies and presentations, so it goes much deeper than you may think.
