The writing was mediocre at best. The plot was something that a teenager would write and it portrayed very toxic relationships in a positive light. For as short as it was it was truly difficult to finish.
This book was amazing for people who love story’s about young love and love stories that keep u on your toes and the book is amazing all though I would recommend less cursing and less using the word s-x but all thought the book is amazing and I could not put it down because of all the roller coaster of emotions 🫶
I loved this book so much. It made me laugh, cry, smile, and made my jaw hang open on the plot twists. The only thing I don’t really get is the age rating, it’s rated 17+ but honestly, I think a mature 15 year old could definitely read this. That’s only my opinion though. Wonderful book.

It was a very addicting plot, but less though about sex, less cursing, and less of Daniel thinking about how much he wants to kiss Six. (Definitely 17+)
This book keeps you on your toes with some surprises. Leads you to continue reading because you want to know what happens next! First time reading one of her books and I want to read more of them!
A wonderful story about young love, and how it can be very complicated. The two of them meet in a dark janitor closet. They have no idea who the other is, or even what they look like. They talk about wanting to be in love, and if having sex would be different. They pretend to be in love while having sex. A couple of days later she’s back to the closet, and tells him she’s leaving. She won’t see him again. He looks for daily in school listening for her voice since he still has no idea how she looks, or her name. A year later they meet up again. That’s where thing start to happen for the both of them still not knowing what they shared before. A story of how love, even young love can maybe overcome heartache, and something so sad, and shocking for each of them when they realize who they are. Highly recommended.
I did not know what to expect when I saw this book but I am glad that I read it because it was something that I could not put down. Love this book and can not wait to read the others! 👏🏼

Not a fan of this book at all! I thought the relationship between them was so corny and a lot of the moments throughout were pretty cringe.

I have never in my entire life wanted a high school romance so badly. Read the whole thing in about 2 hours. The ending had me in tears in the best way possible. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Why? Honestly a great book, but as other reviews mentioned, it left me with many questions. I understand that this is a novella and that it’s very short compared to her other books but many questions still remain. I loved how every page was a page turner and how some scenes in this book were just full of shock and surprise.
Maybe this was just a really early piece from Colleen but it was rough. Thankfully, it was short. I think maybe it would interest a middle schooler. Super unrealistic, cringey saccharine sweet love story.

This is my first time ever reading a story by Colleen Hoover. What drew me to it was her current popularity on TikTok. It has been such a long time since I've been so drawn to a book or storyline (Since the Twilight series.) But this one has kept me on my toes and I just couldn't put it down. My emotions went up and down. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. Next I need to get my hands on her other books.
It was cute- a good way to get a taste on Colleen Hoovers writing style although she has way better books suited for adults. If you’re under 18- this is a great read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book up until the very end. I wanted more and honestly thought I had 100 pages left, but it turned out to be 100 pages of previews of other books? The ending was so abrupt and very disappointing.

I enjoyed the story but found this to be a pretty juvenile writing style. Hoover’s other books are more well-written. Knowing that it’s a short story, I expected that the characters were mainly surface level. Overall, this is a pleasurable quick read requiring minimal commitment or investment from the reader.
