Mr. Darcy's younger sister searches for her own happily-ever-after...

The year is 1814, and it is springtime at Pemberley. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy have married. But now a new romance is in the air, along with high fashion, elegant manners, scandal, deception, and the wonderful hope of a true and lasting love.

Shy Georgiana Darcy has been content to remain unmarried, living with her brother and his new bride. But Elizabeth and Darcy's fairy-tale love reminds Georgiana daily that she has found no true love of her own. And perhaps never will, for she is convinced the one man she secretly cares for will never love her in return. Georgiana's domineering aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, has determined that Georgiana shall marry, and has a list of eligible bachelors in mind. But which of the suitors are sincere, and which are merely interested in Georgiana's fortune? Georgiana must learn to trust her heart—and rely on her courage—for she also faces the return of the man who could ruin her reputation and spoil a happy ending, just when it finally lies within her grasp.

Georgiana Darcy's Diary is Book 1 of the Pride and Prejudice Chronicles and is appropriate for all ages.

Love Love Love. I loved this book!

Sweet. I really enjoyed this book. Georgiana and her cousin Anne were both fleshed out in a satisfactory way. Some of the phrasing was a bit modern but overall very enjoyable. The romance was very sweet.

Great Read. Truly a great read, especially to follow up on Pride and Prejudice’s Elizabeth and Darcy. Georgiana Darcy is a character most of us can identify with.

Fun read. I loved Pride and Prejudice and having Miss Georgiana's story just kept it going.

Not terrible. This certainly isn't Jane Austen's writing and while the author says as much in her introduction, I was disappointed by how far off the mark she really was... C+ prose, D- on the conversational portions. B+ for effort and the general idea behind the series.

Charming sequel to "Pride and Prejudice". I can't decide if I like the telling of the story or the story itself better. Once I started the story I didn't want to put it down. The flow was so wonderful and nothing made me feel awkward. In fact I like the story so much I bought the sequel. The story had surprises and a lot of misunderstandings, but in the end love prevails. Some of the characters from "Pride and Prejudice," have returned, some for the better and some for the worst. All of characteristics of the 1800's that I love are included, The Balls and Riding in the park and the fashion. Enjoy

One of the Better Sequels. An infinitely readable sequel to P&P, the author neither gets so caught up in trying to replicate early 19th century conversational styles nor veers so far away from it as to make it distracting. Sure, there are a few scenarios that are somewhat far-fetched, but all in all it’s an engaging story that seems perfectly plausible for the character of P&P.

Wonderfully written. I love Jane Austen's books and I have read them all, so when I saw this sequel to Pride and Prejudice I was more than a bit curious but also a bit skeptical. I must say that I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I will definitely be moving on to the next in the series and look forward to reading them all.

We’ll written book.. I liked the way the author respected the original story, and how much like Jane Austin’s writing it was.

Wonderful!. I was introduced to Jane Austin via the mini series several years ago. I immediately bought the book and have wanted a continuation of Pride and Prejudice ever since. Thank you Anna!

Georgiana Darcy's Diary. I was very impressed with Anne Elliott's writing the continuation of the beloved Jane Austen novel "Pride and Prejudice" in the format of a diary. Loved her take on what happened next. Good job Anne.

3/5 not bad. It's an ok novel. A bit clunky at times and lacks the true regency feel but a good attempt. Not rushing to read the other books but it had a few good parts.

Cheezyt11

An enjoyable fan fiction. A fun read for any Jane Austen fan.
