With his Ring. Glee and Blanks had a wild ride. This book got me at the beginning and never let me go. Great read for anyone wanting a clean book with a good adventure.
Cut Direct. Half way through the book, I said oh lord! I cannot digest it no more. This book might be good for 12or 13 but it’s tasteless and too childish for mature audience. So I give it cut direct. Thank you for no thanks.
With His Ring. Although I thought Glee’s endeavor too outrageous to believe, the truth of what Blank’s misery revealed was so very real! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Very good. I enjoyed this story. The heroine is interesting, inexperienced and naive, but willing to do anything to gain the love she wants. The man she loves finally helps her reach their happy ending.

Better than her others. This is the third book I have read by this author and I find her books to be good time fillers but not a top favorite. The reviews of humor in this book are highly inaccurate if you want true humor in a historical romance novel read Julie garwood I recommend the bride as its her funniest and has a great plot. The women in Cheryl Boylen books are usually meek and rather ignorant of the obvious especially in "the bride wore blue" the plots are ok but you can guess any mystery from the first time it is introduced. I wouldn't recommend her books even though I use them as time fillers till my favorite authors (Julie garwood rosemary Rogers Julie Quinn and my new favorite book "highland captive") produce new books

Don’t bother. To reward a knifing, manipulative little _itch with “true” love to a very weak, patsy rake…oh please…couldn’t even finish it 🙄 At least provide characters of substance..
Skipped last half. I gave this one a good try. I really did. But when I was more than half way through and realized i just didn’t care about these characters, I skipped to the last chapter. Glee is impetuous, oddly spoiled considering the mention of being poor at one point, and frankly, often stupid. Blanks is meh. Nothing special. Idk. I just could not get into it. And the last chapter doesn’t make me wish I’d kept reading past chapter 17 (gave up after that one). I don’t need perfect characters. But man, these two were just...so...ugh.

With His Ring - Brides of Bath. This book was hard to put down. I’m happy to see there are others in this series. Glee is such a funny, loving and naive character. Her love for Blanks is so heartwarming. Lovey book.

And the way that Glee made such a bad series of decisions about the evil Jefferson, when she had friends and family to help her, is ridiculous. She should never have given him the earings in the first place. People made IOUs all the time - very common. And I hate it when people run off without talking to the other person. Just pathetic behaviour all around.
