Almost a Bride by Patricia McLinn Book Summary
❤ A SHAM WEDDING BECOMES THE REAL THING? ❤
She’s come home to save her ranch.
He’s stayed put with hopes for a second chance.
Matty Brennan would do anything to save her family’s Wyoming ranch. Even if it means marrying the handsome cowboy who broke her heart six years ago. But when she asks for his hand in temporary matrimony, she never expected her old feelings to rush back in.
Dave Currick has loved Matty as long as he can remember. To him that means protecting her, especially from herself. Certain she’ll get cold feet before the I-dos, he accepts her off-the-wall marriage proposal, because then she’ll have to spend time with him. That doesn’t mean he won’t negotiate a few items in this crazy engagement.
But as their wedding day approaches, Dave is shocked when Matty doesn't back down. And keeping up the charade in front of their unsuspecting family and friends can't help but rekindle their chemistry. When Dave and Matty's secret slips out, can their fake marriage bloom into real love?

Almost a Bride. Good story, kept reading, kept my interest, loved the humor. Thank You
Loved the book. I loved the concept of this story. I thought the characters were well defined. I liked how well they played off of each other. I found this book so enjoyable I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Sharon Westlake Village, CA
Almost a Bride. Loved the book. Could not put it down. The characters were realistic and kept your interest
Sweet. A sweet novel
Waste of time. Thin and too unbelievable storyline. Female character Matty is annoying and superficial. Do not read this book. Sheer waste your time!
Match Made In Wyoming. The book was an easy read with a message of what is important in an message. The ending was surprising.
Almost a Bride. Great Book!
Great Read. I loved how realistic the problems were for the couple. The history from their childhood mixed with the chemistry oozing between them was very much enjoyable. I loved it all.
Almost a Bride. I loved this book! The story is heartwarming, funny & I was pulling for the main characters from the start.
Almost A Bride. Excellent book. Very entertaining.
Ehhhh. The plot of this book was intriguing and the writing wasn't terrible. The main character, however, was a terrible, awful witch (the "w" many times being substituted for a "b"). I could not understand one bit why the guy in this book wanted anything to do with her. She wasn't even remotely likable. She was so awful, that I couldn't bring myself to finish the book. I always finish books....always. I even finish them if they're not great because I just can't stand not knowing how a story concludes. Unfortunately, I was so disgusted with the main character that I couldn't do it. Disappointed.
Loved it!!. Can't wait to read the next!
Couldn't finish it. Slow read. The main female character had too much attitude even though the leading male character was trying to help her at her own request. There was a lot of bickering.
Almost a Bride. I enjoyed this book very much. The understanding of Matty realizing she didn't want to be rescued all the time as an adult is what I can relate to.
Almost a Bride. Very entertaining! The love scenes are very touching. Sure can raise emotions . Lol and I am no spring chicken!
Loved it!. I loved the book! Amazing and touching story!
It was ok. The book was ok but couldn't keep me interested. It was a slow read. Maybe a little more drama needed.
Almost A Bride. If you're looking for a great read, this is the book you're looking for. Great sentiment, character development, and a plot line that keeps you guessing. Once I started reading it was tough to put down. Highly recommended Almost A Bride to anyone looking for a romantic easy read.
Lovely story.. Fantastic job. I could not get enough of this book.

It's okay. Fairly rated and kinda bored
A beautiful story. Couldn’t put the book down, a great read.
Predictable. I managed to get to the end of the book but it was touch and go
