Mommy. It was a good short story with a little twist but it had a lot of questions that needs to be answered .

Mommy. This book is horribly sad. I wouldn’t recommend it to people under the age of 13... It’s a really well written book! It’s creative and everything, I just don’t like the way that she (spoiler) MURDERS her father... that’s really twisted and messed up. If you like that kind of thing I would totally recommend it to you. This book isn’t horror though... I would call it disturbing. That’s not supposed to be a bad thing, by the way. It captures that feeling really well, better than I could ever do!

Intriguing. As I was reading this, I could see myself in Ave’s position. I can see and feel how angry she she was . In my opinion the story need a strong rising action/plot.

Short, but okay.. I feel bad for the girl. At least she got something good in the end. But it was short and wasn’t very interest keeping.

Twisted. This has some great bones of a short story. I loved how we started right into the action with Ava and her family. The first sentence was confusing in the way it was written. This happened a few times throughout the story, but it did not take away from the understanding. I would have liked to see more character development and a bit more backstory. Lengthening this story and a bit more editing would flesh this out and make it superb. I’ll be interested to check out other work by this author.

Great Book. Man can she write, when you first start to read this you think oh this is a horror story about like, serial killers but this is a horror story about a child’s nightmare coming true, about one of their parents dying and the other parent responsible for the death, this is the child’s perspective of “horror”. Overall this was a great book,it really kept me turning those pages!

Mommy. 1. Ava wakes up in the middle of the night thinking there is a burglar. 2. It turns out her parents have been in a terrible accident and her mother is dead. 3. Ava blames her father and imagines his drunkenness and abuse before the crash. 4. Ava visits her father in the emergency room and smothers him to death. There is really no point to this short story. If you're looking for something scary, you'll be sorely disappointed.

So stupid.. I wish I could give this "book" 0 stars. After reading a grand total of 9 (yeah, 9!!!!) pages, the book ends with the kid killing the father, when really who's going to leave a kid of unknown age (missing quite a few details, from the use of mommy and tiny flashbacks you think she's young, but the mature thoughts and murder doesn't fit with a young child, so it's really unclear) with her father who's in the hospital. This is so stupid and not thought out. This "author", if you could even call her that, should stop writing. This is pathetic.
