THE SEQUEL MILLIONS OF READERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR . . .
At last, mega-bestselling author Sister Souljah delivers the stunning sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever. Fierce, raw, and filled with adventure and emotional intensity, A Deeper Love Inside is an unforgettable coming-of-age story in the words of Porsche Santiaga, Winter’s younger sister.

Sharp-tongued, quick-witted Porsche worships her sister Winter. Cut from the same cloth as her father, Ricky Santiaga, Porsche is also a natural-born hustler. Passionate and loyal to the extreme, she refuses to accept her new life in group homes, foster care, and juvenile detention after her family is torn apart. Porsche—unique, young, and beautiful—cries as much as she fights and uses whatever she has to reclaim her status. Unselfish, she pushes to get back everything that ever belonged to her wealthy, loving family.

In A Deeper Love Inside, readers will encounter their favorite characters from The Coldest Winter Ever, including Winter and Midnight. Sister Souljah’s soulful writing will again move your heart and open your eyes to a shocking reality.

Smh. Could have settled for another Midnight book instead of this. I understand she was trying to send a message to our new generation but it was down played. Made myself finish it. But still a fan will support Souljah and all her books.

Gretchrenaw

Not the Coldest Winter Ever. I am a HUGE fan of the Coldest Winter Ever and when I heard about this sequel I, like everyone else, assumed it would be a re-boot of the original. This book is nothing like the first one at all. I absolutely love this book! Even though these two stories focus on two sisters in the same predicament the paths they take couldn't be more different. I am glad Sistah Souljah did not follow the same story line with this book. I really don't see what the point of doing a sequel would be if she were going to make it the same as the original. With A Deeper Love she shows what happens when a child's heart is filled with love and loyalty for her family and friends as opposed to greed and selfishness. It's a good contrast to the original so if someone picks up this book expecting a mini Winter Santiaga tale then my advice would be to put it back down because this book doesn't offer that.

Nice. Great book

Love it. I read the first book the coldest winter ever when I was in jail and fell in love so I knew I had to keep reading the sequence of it .... best novel !!!

Tsweet80

Porsche Santiaga Prevails. Wow!

MoChanel

All of her books fit together perfectly... A couple of months ago I decided to re-read Coldest Winter, Midnight and Midnight Meaning of Love. After completing, I realized she had released this one and it is the perfect 4th book. If you don't complete the two written after Coldest Winter you will be out of touch and not appreciate the great detail of the characters given in this book. All of her books express ways of true happiness God, Love and Respect. Kudos to you Sister Souljah for enlightening us all.

Desireeeeeeeeeeeeeesm

a deeper love inside. one of the most raw, intense books i’ve ever read!!!!

Ronimontg

Captivating. This book had me captivated from cover to cover. After reading The Coldest Winter Ever I had to find out what happened to Porsche! She is definitely survivor.

Princee69

A deeper love inside. A good book ,I couldn't put it down until I was finished and at the funeral when midnight came into the picture it really got real good from when the coldest winter ever left off at the funeral

Carmel bronze

Should have read Reviews 1st. THIS BOOK IS REALLY DRAGGING IM ON CHAPTER 18 and NOTHING IS GRABBING MY ATTENTION I KEEP READING HOPING IT WOULD GET BETTER! I'm try and read it until the end!!

Goldiefuego

Eh. I felt like I was forcing myself to read it. It was alright but definitely not as realistic as any of sister souljahs other books.

Grecheri

Sure page turner !. If you love a good love story this is for you! Read the coldest winter ever first though.... I loved this book no matter what other reviews say!

Daijahjaneey

Great Read!. Read it in two days. I love the author. She is great. Her books are always great with a message and a meaning.

Jayyjanise

HAnds down my favorite author!. I read “The Coldest Winter Ever” when I entered the 9th grade. I’ve been hooked on Souljah every since. I’ve read each book over 10 times each. Keep writing. Forever a supporter. Would love to see a sequel telling Ricky and Lana Santiaga’s love story. That would be super dope. Love

Aka522

Great Read! Even for 2nd time :). Can’t wait for new book!!!!

Funibella

Perfect Title. I never thought another book would be written that would make me more emotional than The Coldest Winter Ever. Porsche’s beautiful story of struggle and love has captured my heart forever. I never wanted it to end! Beautiful, just beautiful.

Ms. BJ4

Excellent Read. I absolutely love everything about this book. Sister Souljah keep up the good work and continue to give us more. Reading this story made me feel like I was reading the Coldest Winter Ever mixed with A Beautiful Mind. Thank you.

MsPretty513

OK Read. Definitely not what you'd expect after reading Coldest Winter Ever but I still forced myself to read it. The concept of Siri is very unnecessary. Wouldn't buy anymore of Sister Souljas books.

Myaathaeuphorian 🌸

Myaathaeuphorian 🌸 2022. A 110% great read! My girl Sista Soulja really topped it off with this one… I would say that it’s kinda dragging in the beginning and she kinda rushes the story line to finish by leaving out some details in the end; but it was overall amazing to hear what Porsche endured and her perspective on the situation. I can’t wait to read midnight & uhhhh Life After Death movie 2k22 puhleasee?!? 👀🤞🏽

TaWeeni

Taweeni. I'm so in love with this book

Rashida12

Great Read!!!. Many reviews suggest that this book is overrated. I disagree, this book was good from start to finish. I actually didn't want the book to end. Great Job Sistah Soulja!!!

Leeaballout

5 stars! Worth the wait! A deeper Love story. I loved it! It took me a minute to finally buy and read it, but i read 25 chapters in 24 hours and i knew it would be a good book after that. I finished this book in 4 days. It excited me everyday to come home from work and read it.

Satitied

Excellent Read. Great book I enjoyed it and the realistic consequences of hustling drugs and using drugs! As far as the life style of the Santiaga ‘s I ‘m so happy for Porsche and Elisha’s family accomplishments! !!!!

PhilisBrown

Wish the book got to the point. Wasn't the best, but it should've gotten to the point.

House of fab

secound best. I thought this book was good until i got to the last few chapters. I wanted better but this was a good book overall. was not happy that she had A split personality.

KyPat102010

I loved the story!. I loved the story, though some things were a little slow in the beginning, not in a bad way because it was interesting. I understood why because we had to get a look into Porsche’s backstory. I was a slightly uncomfortable reading about underage sexual experiences though I understand some experience things at that age but it wasn’t as explicit as the things Winter was doing lol. This story made me very emotional and I loved it. I wish we could’ve got a longer look into the love story but all in all a great book. Beautiful...

La'Tasha

Takes a while. Takes a while to pick up but overall it's a good read.

Awesomebigsister

A pleased reader. Maybe people don't understand this story because they never felt invisible ,hurt, pain, unwanted or even unloved so they can't relate on what she was saying. Nobody wants to sit and imagine that they are a little girl wanting to be seen by her family that she love so much but can't seem to find that love from them. But with the coldest winter ever people tend to relate and imagine because of the charter that was being brought before us a stylish young beautiful women that was in control, she never fell to the bottom till the very end that's what caught yall interest, but things are the opposite in "a love deeper inside" because Porsche was at the bottom the whole time until the end when she became better then her sister winter and stayed so humble. And finally found the love that she so badly needed. Ps. It's a great book believe it or not winter don't have NOTHING on Porsche!

JayC1130

One of my favorite books. I had to read this book 2 times just to relive the story. I hope Sistah Soulja makes a part 2. Have a reunion with all the Diamond Needles, and tell more about Riot’s journey. Also a glimpse of life for Porsche. I see she made a book for Winter, so hopefully she’ll do the same for Porsche. Porsche’s story was better & deeper to me than Winter’s.

Glad_e

All over the place. I liked the story and happy Porsche turned out different than Winter (I loved “The Coldest Winter Ever”). I was weirded out about the intimate details of teenagers though and the arousal of 12 year olds. The tone is a bit weird too. Sometimes Porsche speaks like a child and then an adult, going back and forth within the same chapter. There wasn’t a flow and made the story less believable.

Myersi

She’s the best!. Another good one!

Hairbo by Bozenna Rae

Pretty entertaining. I like this more than Winter's story. She has a better heart and it's inspiring. It was a long story... alll over the place. But it ends well.

Story_likePorche

I loved it. Of course it's gonna be different from the other book because it's a different perspective. (To all the haters) but this book captures the realness and the struggle of people with split families. We want so much to reunite with what was taken away from us...I think this one is better than the coldest winter ever just because unlike winter, Porsche has a...umm .. Heart? And she's smart. The things she say and learn can be used in real life and are very agreeable. She had some ride or die friends. And she herself was ride or die as well and changed for no one. She was better than her sister and in all kinds of ways more pure. And the emotions she felt were REAL. The hustle was real in this book. An inspiration.😍

513leek

Leek. The book fye but it got boring sometimes I’m tired of hearing Porsche pissing on her self she too old to be pissing on herself

Meek from LA

LOVE IT. I love Sister Souljah’s story telling - it’s real. What a great story. I can’t wait to read more books by her. It would be great to, one day, see her stories played out on the big screen.

Amazement. This book was amazing!! Even better than The Coldest Winter Ever!!!

AwaitingThrone

Truly Porsche Story. I read this book in four days over eager to chase each page to fully understand the story. I enjoyed the story of Porsche something's were a little fetched but it's the author creativity that keeps me intrigued. If you're looking to hear Porsche side of things and her true story.. and not hoping for too much of Winter then you will enjoy. If you're still on a search for Winter and Midnight affair it can still answer some questions for you because unlike the book "Midnight" she's actually in the story. A lot of questions were answered and it all comes together. Creative, raw, and witty. I truly enjoyed this book the intro to Porsche is so cold. Just take some time and read it.. it helps if you have read Coldest Winter Ever but, Sistah does a good job of reminding you of previous events. Enjoy the book with an open mind not expecting or jumping to conclusions. Now I can honestly say.. the Santiaga story line maybe done because I highly doubt I would want to read the twins side only because they were so young. But, thank you Sistah Soulja I really enjoyed this story line and you have still remained to be one of my favorite authors. Thank you.

BrittWho?

😍👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I've read The Coldest Winter Ever & Midnight years ago and to finally read this book answered everything I had questions about it was very descriptive as always and I loved the story 😍😍

SandyNoCheeks

💯. I NEVER write reviews but I absolutely LOVED this book !! It is a must read!!! Daamnn ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bee9190

Loved it!. This story actually makes sense, it's boring but it makes perfect sense. Just have patience and complete the book!

Domo125

Great read. I loved reading the book in Porsches perspective and her obstacles her loyalty and love was very strong to her family especially her mother you have to really pay attention and understand the role of Siri who was actually a split personality of hers really good and ironic story compared to coldest winter ever

The A Game (Ash)

Wonderful. I don't know why people keep complaining, the whole scene may not be realistic because people aren't like this anymore. This story takes place in about 1966, you probably haven't been born then or went through what Porsche has. I think people had just given up on this book halfway without really focusing on the real lesson.

Katiejhhgghg

Great read!. I loved this book I never wanted it to end! I just want to keep the series going!!!! Great plot I would recommend

Marci_G

I was a little let down. This book didn't start getting good until the very end. I really wasn't expecting the sequel of the Coldest Winter to be mostly about a 11 year old girl.

K.raven

Good book but not what I expected. The overall writing was great but the story had so many random switch ups that didn't mix well for me.I disliked how a lot of it had too much detail. I barely made it through her being on the reservation. I however really loved Elisha's character. Otherwise I wanted and expected a lot more when it came to her family and that main story continuing from Winter.

Clevelandbikerchic

Pretty darn good. Good read. Took a while to get into but once I did I was up all night reading.

Breae124

I love Porsches story. She is complicated, her story is heartbreaking and so beautiful. She is everything winter was not and I'm willing to go out on a limb and say this was better than the first book

Don't waste your money. Not as good as coldest winter ever, and so unrealistic.

AutumnJones

Average. Not as good as coldest winter but still a good read?

Don't buy. Simply horrible.

Prissssssy

Loved this book. Worth the read. Yes it was different then the coldest winter ever. But it's about Porsche not Winter.

Avillacorta

Seems incomplete. I love the way the book was written I just felt as though the book was incomplete. She never told her sister about anything she had been through, she didn't express to her the Hirt she felt of being forgotten about all those years in prison. She never went to speak with her Father. Those are things I think would have completed her story. I do love the book but I just felt way too much was missing. They never even discussed her having a split personality. Everyone seemed to be ok with it but it seemed she out grew that once she was happy and felt loved. I would've like to have known more about what lead her Mom to do drugs why if Midnight was taking care of the fathers business was she not taken care of. I need to go back and re-read the coldest winter ever. I really hope the next book is about Winter getting out And hopefully having some life altering experience as Porsche to change her around as well.

Arden456

not what I expected. The book was boring and I couldn't wait for it to be done a lot of the stuff that happens is unreal and it was not even close to the coldest winter

Moniemonymone

iBook. Started off very slow. Took me a while to get into it, but once I did I couldn't put it down. Could've had a better ending, but decent book all together.

Salomie2

True Love. I was up all night reading this book that never disappoint me.

Kkimi63

A Deeper Love Inside. I loved it!! Gritty, emotional, and a true testimony to the struggle of many youths today!! Obviously, with a touch of poetic license, the story brought forth stunning visuals. The ride was fierce and fraught with joy and sincere sadness for those suffering with drug addiction, mental illness and caught up in the INjustice system. Outstanding read!

Neenejvc

A DEeper Love. Sister Souliah you've done it again ! I enjoyed every page of this book! Your creative thoughts and imagination is a force to be wreckoned with. Please continue to stay inspired... Until then ill be waiting on your next masterpiece:))))

Vane aka vlo

A deeper love inside. This book was good, but The ending could've been better!

Tmhgmh

A good read. This was a decent story. I often felt confused or unchallenged by the plot. The main character was 10...for real?

Hh214

Was Boring. I love Sistah Souljah, but it took a lot for me to get through the whole book. Most of it was based on her life at the age of 10 and didn't seem realistic too me. Only part that seemed good was the ending. Overall the plot was everywhere and not well thought out.

PhillyG1rL

Touched and Moved. I absolutely love this book! It's not The Coldest Winter Ever, but totally different. I love Porsche, Ivory, and Siri's character. They made me laugh, cry, and talk to my phone lol. Can't wait to read The Return of Winter (that's the title in my mind lol) and/or a movie.

Beauty63456

Memories. This book reminded me of why I read the coldest winter ever over and over again . It was great in coinciding with the beginning of it all and I'm glad I waited 10 yrs for another piece to the Santiaga puzzle . Hopefully next will be how and what transpired after winter was released from prison !

Deedartay

Awesome!. I am glad that I didn't listen to the reviews and decided to read the book anyway. It was great!

MiiSuge

I just don't know?!. I read the coldest winter ever years ago, and was excited to read midnight a gangster love story. This however was referred to me by my hair dresser, and I don't have anything wonderful to say about it.......so.........

Kim Fons

A Deeper Love Inside. This book seemed rushed to me!! The things Porshe did were toooooo far fetched! Very disappointed after having read The Coldest Winter Ever more than 7 times.

Toytoy31

Mind blowing!. I'm glad I didn't take any advice from some of the ratings I read before buying this, I loved this book from start to end! Read book less then 3 days, hope there's another book coming out sooner then later just how it ended :-(

Chudney Rideaux

Loved it. I loved it. So different from Winter's perspective. The only thing I didn't care for was how Porsche was so young throughout the duration. I also would have liked the book to have more Winter. I'm hoping for another book that ties up the Santiaga loose ends.

Miszspin

Good book. This was a good story i was hesitant about buying the book because of the ratings but i got the sample and it wasn't too bad, so i decided to buy it. Its no Coldest Winter Ever, and I agree the story is a little far fetched for a ten year old. I enjoyed the fact that Porsche made something of her life and didn't end up the way her sister did... I would like to see what happens to Winter and her father.

Kuriousasia

Deeper love. At first I was like "no sex?" But then this story brought me in. It made me cry ,her having the unconditional love for her momma even tho it was nt returned. So happy that she found genuine love. Only thing I wanted to happen was for all the girls of the diamond needles to link up. Over all in I love, because it wasnt what I expected

Mina isn't satisfied

Good. The book was ok. It was positive. It wasn't better then the coldest winter ever.

Tisha30

Tisha. Amazing. Loved it.

Keelee Beelee

Good Read. The story was good. I didn't to much like Siri, it was a bit of a over kill. It's a good read if you are a fan of the author.

Shops4Jewels

Enchanting. This was an awesome book to read. It did start off just a tad bit slow, but once it got going it took off in a major way. I loved reading the story of the other daughters from the "Coldest Winter Ever". It was a story of survival, mental issues, love trust and LOVE. I hope there is more to come from these characters...please don't make us wait so long for the next one. Bravo!

Not sure this is surcure

Awesome !!. Great read had me in tears . Hope more to come from the sisters!

I_NewNew

This book was deep & anyone who TRULY understands The Coldest Winter Ever will LOVE this book!. I just finished the book and I LOVED it. Before and after I read the book I took a look at some of the reviews and I must say I was disappointed at the negative comments. After thinking about it I could see why some didn't like the book because I used to be just like them...I was 14 and in the 9th grade when I first read The Coldest Winter Ever. At that age I was intrigued by the glamorous side of Winter. Everyone wanted to be her friend, she got whatever she wanted, and was loved and envied by so many. She wore expensive clothing and had the best money could buy. I longed for that. I was the complete opposite of Winter and at that age material things were what mattered the most when you were going to an inner city High School in Atlanta. The latest clothing designs, hairstyles, and popularity where what made someone important. If you didn't have that you were invisible. I felt invisible most of the time and wished I could be like Winter. Wished my mother could afford to give me any and everything I wanted like some of the other girls at my school. Wished I was popular and had guys fawning over me. As time went on and I grew up some more I still struggled with this, but as I gained WISDOM I began to truly understand the message Sistah Souljah was teaching with that book. I began to re read The Coldest Winter Ever when I was in my Senior year of college and couldn't get through it, I felt so sorry for Winter because she was so LOST. She was selfish, materialistic, trifling, sneaky, and deceiving. I began to see who she was on the inside. A lost little girl who didn't possess enough strength to learn from her fathers mistakes and try to make a better life for herself and her younger sisters. Someone who couldn't see that the street life only led to two places. Someone who didn't use the natural power she had for good. So when I began reading this book, I truly felt or Porsche. I saw so much of myself in her. Chasing after a dream, which for her was mainly the love from her Poppa, Mama, and most of all Winter. She struggled so much and endured some horrific things at a young age and still came out a survivor. It broke my heart that her Momma couldn't accept and love her even though Poesche fought so hard for her. This book made me see the message that Sistah Souljah was trying to teach in the previous book even CLEARER. Being spoiled by riches made Winter and Lana Santiaga very selfish and weak. They couldn't see beyond the status that the material things gave them. They didn't know who they truly were. Porsche came out winning because she discovered herself, because she still cared so much for other people, because she remained loyal and humble. That's how we all should be. My love and admiration for Winter turned to hate and pity in this book because I saw her for who she truly was. When I first read the first book at 14 I was actually rooting for Winter to get away with the money from the AIDS charity event. SMH. I too was a lost little girl once. Believing that materialistic things and status were what made someone valuable. In this book I was FURIOUS with Winter. She abandoned her mother and her sisters all so she could look out for herself. That's not strength, that's weakness. I'd rather be walking around in run down skips and a dirty tee possessing all of the strength and courage in the world. Than be in a Dolce and Gabana dress and be a selfish, meaningless, lost person. What amazes me is that Winter still felt she ha a chance with Midnight who was one the most loyal people in the world and she was just as phony and conniving as they come. After all that time in jail she hadn't changed a bit. So I say all of this to say, those of you who read The Coldest Winter Ever and who didn't like this book you're just as lost as Winter. You all probably would have been happy if Porsche was just like Winter but I think she was something better, and if you STILL didn't get the message Sistah Souljah was teaching in the first book with this one then all I can say is I hope you grow up, gain some wisdom and self love and get it with the next one. Good job Sistah Souljah!

Jay_coop

Great book. I loved this book ill admit it started off a little slow and confusing but then it all came together to form a beautiful story. Can't wait till there is another one.

Glam.princess

One to Savor. Another gripping tale by the master storyteller, Souljah. Porsche's story will make you reevaluate some things in a real way. Enjoyed this book immensely. Can't wait for the next installment to this fascinating series.

Mophead01

Disappointing. I was extremely disappointed. It was like two different people wrote both books. This book is nothing compared to the First Winter ever. Not worth your money.

E2u

Awesome!!!!. A must read

Couldn't Put It Down!. Read it in 3 days!

Britt0777

Page turner. I could not put this book down. I really enjoyed the ending.

Porsche Santiaga: A Deeper Love Inside. Sister Souljahs storytelling makes me want to continue to push myself to the highest echelon of my abilities. After becoming so enthralled in the mind of her characters, I want to become a better woman, a better mother, a better child of The Most High. It makes me want a better man, a more spiritually and connected man. Midnight 1 & 2 sent me spiraling into the confines of Islam, and A Deeper Love Inside now sends me into a world of love and forgiveness... Two things I still have trouble attaining. I read this story twice, just so I could get clarity on everything I may have missed the first time, as it happens when you read out of excitement. This second time was when I saw the story for what it was. A broken girl who was healed by love and lessons. No one can tell me that this is JUST fiction because anything believed in can be easily attained. This book, along with the rest of her works, is an absolute MUST READ! I'm just upset I didn't buy the Hardcover. :-( Maybe I'll do that too! xoxo

Simpsons gamer 1

Great read. I thought this was a great read...sisth souljah did a great job.....I love that Porsche story ended well!!!

Adorn334

A MUST Read. She does it again in this sequel. A must read. Heart warming story.

🎀Tay🎀

Great book!!. Captivating from beginning to end

Sallymaehey01

A Deeper Love Inside. I thought the book was pretty good! I wish there was more Winter in the book however, I believe that leaves the option to write another book about life after prison for Winter! I did not want the story to end! I do think it was worth the wait but I hope we don't have to wait as long for the next one! ; )

Mmbray

A Deeper Appreciation. Wow, really impressed by Sister Souljah's growth as a writer. I didn't read Midnight, but this is VERY different from The Coldest Winter ... it moves away from urban lit considerably. It has urban elements, but spiritual and mental aspects frame the story ... shows us how beautiful becomes broken--which is the case with so many of our kids in the system ... deep!

Nana2uboo

ADeeperLove Inside. Wow....superb....very well written.....

Review. If you are looking for anything similar to coldest winter ever this book is not for you. Although I enjoyed the book,it didn't captivate me like her previous books including the midnight series. Overall I am slightly disappointed with the book.

ACERTED

😵😴 Boring. I had to force myself to the ending of this book. When I heard we would finally get a sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever I was excited. I read the book in high school and I knew the sequel would be an even better mature read. NOT. I'm sorry but no one wants the story through Porsche eyes. Midnights eyes would've been a better read, BUT... I'm just all around disappointed. Sista's last 3 books are not for me. Idk if I'll pick up another after this.

Shannon9847

A deeper love within. This book was amazing! Porsche was a smart and strong young women

Gucci173

Great. Loved it

Ms. Cassy

Genius. It was slow in the beginning but it took shape in the end. I must say that I was expecting a continuation from midnight with winter but not her little sister, a nice twist?.... Your next book should focus on midnight's takeover..... He becomes mystic in this book. I have some ideas...there's always room for growth. .contact me

Lssbcp

Whomp. This book was nothing compared to the coldest winter. Unrealistic..... And not an original sister soulja novel. Overall disappointed..... Very boring book. I would've much rather read the coldest winter again.... My opinion.

Ycats0273

Great Book!. I was really hesitant about buying this book because of reviews but I am so glad I did. No this book is not the drug dealing, cut throat, ghetto life. What it is is a young "invisible" girl that came from a drug dealing, cut throat, ghetto life that is trying to deal with her current situation as she hunts for love to put her family back together again. I vote it a 10. Waiting for Ricky, Lana, Winter, Lexus, and Mercedes story!

Amomsluv

Captivating. This go was a hit. Definitely a good comeback from Midnight

TNMC

Loved it!!. Great sequel to the "COLDEST WINTER EVER" , she touched on soooo many topics in our community ESP mental illness! I couldn't imagine this written any other way!!!

Kenovia

Captivating. Souljah has done it again. Much more character then Winter could ever have, the Porsche Santiaga story is riddled with excellent tales. In love with the variety of cultural backgrounds provided. excellent read.

Amiah's mommy

Great Book. I read the Coldest Winter and I loved it but this one was amazing. I am a big fan of Sister Souljah and her books. I love how through out all the misfortunate Porsche went through, she still found love & finally got to live comfortable after so many years of hustling to make her way of life. I hope a movie comes out of the sequel. I will most definitely go see! Big Props to Sister Souljah!

About Author "Sister Souljah"

Sister Souljah (born Lisa Williamson, Bronx, New York) is an American author, activist, rapper and film producer. Democratic Party candidate Bill Clinton criticized her remarks about race in the United States during the 1992 presidential campaign. His repudiation of her comments led to what is now known in American politics as a Sister Souljah moment. Early life and education Sister Souljah was born in the Bronx, New York. She recounts in her memoir No Disrespect that she was born into poverty and raised on welfare for some years. At the age of 10, she moved with her family to the suburb of Englewood, New Jersey, a suburb with a strong African-American presence. Englewood is also home to other famous black artists such as George Benson, Eddie Murphy, and Regina Belle.
