Nora Roberts at her finest. By far, this is my favorite NR book yet. No sooner had I finished it that I started all over again. I must had read it 10 times already. I loved the Liz/Abigail character. The book flowed nicely from scene to scene. I'd like to see this made into a movie. It'd be great!

The Witness by Nora Roberts. It was one of the best books I have read in a long time (and I read a lot!). I was not a fan of Nora Roberts as I'm not a fan of romance novels of which I knew she mostly wrote.. But I could not put this book down... I pretty well knew how it was going to end, well at least I thought I knew, and still couldn't put it down. There was substance, good characters, and wonderful lines that made me laugh out loud... You cannot go wrong in reading this book. Enjoy!!!

Great characters. I loved these characters. What a strong and appealing heroine!

Best book I have read in a long time. This book was so good that I didn't want it to end. The main characters are likeable and their relationship is sweet. Sometimes I got confused with the introduction of minor characters and I had to reread certain paragraphs to understand who was being talked about. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I recommend.

The Witness. This book was very interesting. Some parts were slow as they had to introduce the new characters and explain the main character’s background. However it help my attention and finally towards the end added some unexpected romance. There were some laugh out loud moments too! I would recommend this book.

NR One of my favorite authors. NR seems to come out with new style in her writings. This is a ‘3 parter’ all in one book, clearly defining the story. It seemed a little weird the first time I read, but now it seems right. Great story build, smart h/H, no stupid characters. I read…a lot…7 or more books a week easy. I don’t forget what I read either, a bit of a bummer as re reading is not as enjoyable, but I’ve re read this book at least 5 times already. It’s a great story, it has challenge, strength, humor, guts, all the things you want to read with a satisfying ending that leaves you happy/content. NR is a truly talented writer.

The Witness -Nora Roberts. I enjoyed this book. The hero was a fairly typical Roberts guy, manly, sensitive, endearing, etc. The heroine was drawn a little differently with her quirky social awkwardness and it made her quite interesting. The ending was much more satisfying than the more common physical confrontation with mad/evil person and fight for your life. If you are a Roberts fan but found the Boonsboro books boring and stale, this one will make you happy.

Favorite. I would dare to say this is my favorite book. It keeps you on edge from beginning to end and really makes you fall in love with the main characters. Very disappointed I'm finished!!

The Witness. The most interesting part of the book happens in the first 50 to 60 pages, then a lot of nothing till toward the end. Even then it did not pack a punch. Would not recommend at all.

Give me a break!. Oh paaaalease! The female character's list of achievements is so absurd it was hard to read the ridiculous dialogue without snickering! It wasn't even remotely "believable" and ruined a potentially semi-ok storyline with the abundance of references to her " intellect". Skip this joke of a book. I stopped reading after she said she had an eidectic memory for the hundredth time.

Captivating!. One of the best books I've read! Could not put it down.

So-So. I've been a loyal fan of Nora Roberts for years. I had mixed feelings on this book, though. It started off really well and was very faced paced. With such a fantastic beginning and middle, I was hoping that the ending would Ve equally as great! While it was good, it was far from spectacular. The ending seemed rushed and the characters/situations felt false and left a lit to be desired. This book really surprised me. I guess I just expect more from Nora, not less.

The Witness. I loved this book. As a huge fan of both Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb I always enjoy her work, but "Liz" is such a great heroine in this story. I literally could not put it down. I was mesmerized from start to finish.

Best Nora Roberts book yet!!. Usually don't read a lot of romance anymore but I was stuck in bed for a bit with strep throat so I was looking for an easy read. This book surprised me and kept me up reading even though I needed to rest. Awesome storyline and well developed characters. I've already recommended it to friends.

From the style of Elizabeth's hair to the experience of wearing her first pair of heals, you will not be disappointed. This is a definite re-read for me. So much detail needs to be savored. I hope you pick up "The Witness" by Nora Roberts and see for yourself what makes this coming of age story a suspenseful drama full of mystery and hope. I also enjoyed the audiobook performance by Julia Whelan. She brings out all the emotions of the characters in her voice tone and reading style. Lovely job, Julia, thank you.

First Nora Roberts book I ever disliked. Out of character, unpleasant. Slogged about 3/4 through, then tossed it. There's just enough callous violence in the world already to pay good money to be subjected to even more of it.
