Excellent read. I have been a fan of D. Steele for many years, and once again this book was a masterpiece. The suspense always had me wanting more.

Depressing. I usually love Danielle Steele but this book was not only unrealistic but depressing on top of it. A lot of death....in fact, I would say 90% of this book is someone dying. By the time the third character-death rolled around I was pretty numb to it and found myself rolling my eyes and thinking “really? Another one?”

Friends Forever. Horribly "mailed in" by Ms. Steele. Written in some sort of 3nd person, with no real depth of character. It seemed like an outline- not a published book by a famous author. Oh, we'll! The author is laughing all the way to the bank while we the reader wish we could get the time spent reading this miserable book, back!

Don't read!. Wow, this was not a good book by DS! Her writing is usually pretty basic, but usually entertaining nonetheless. I read her books while relaxing poolside, so depressing wasn't what I was looking for. Here she tries to give a message to the youth of today but they are not her audience, so it only achieves depressing the moms who are her audience. Warning - possible spoiler alert! She weaves a plot line that is so ridiculous in how many bad things can happen to one small group of seemingly wonderful kids and families. If she had included someone being killed by a mass murder at a school I think she would have it all covered!

Friends Forever Review. I have always loved her books but I think this is the best I have ever read! The story of 5 children meeting in kindergarten and their lives and friendship as they grow up to be adults! Wonderful!

Depressing Book. The synopsis didn't hint to me that the book would be THIS depressing. Also some parts felt repeated and I guess she was trying to write about too many characters. It felt like Andy was forgotten in one part. Like the rest, we kept reading hoping for a better ending but the ending was just normal at best. To anyone suffering from depression, please don't read this! It may be triggering.

Friends Forever?! NOT!!. I keep hoping that DS will actually write something worthwhile, however it never happens. I have not read one of her books in ages and, very ignorantly, decided to give this one a try. Not only is her writing always so bland and repetitive, it's lazy as well. This book is depressing from start to finish. That goes for the plot and the writing. Don't kill your brain cells with this one, friends!!

Disappointed. This is not D.S. usual books. Very sad, not uplifting and poorly written. Typos and missing pages. I look forward to reading all D.S. books but if I had read the reviews on this one,I would have changed my mind.

Friends Forever. As it started out I thought it would be a uplifting story, but it was so depressing. I was a page turner all the same, it did show how life is now days. I do think all teens boys too should read it, to let them see how each step you take changes your life.

Not up to Danielle's standard. Too many characters to keep straight. The whole rhythm is just paragraphs of simple declarative sentences: She said this. He did that. They went there. Etc. Boring and hard to follow. Concept could have been interesting but it was sad and frankly depressing.

Friends Forever. This book was good, but my gosh it was DEPRESSING!!! Not something that I would expect (nor hope to see again) from Danielle Steel. It could have went in a much better direction. Disappointed and frankly, kinda PO'd about how this one turned out. Please, DS, don't write another one like this. This is not the sort of writing that made all of your fans fall in love with you. Friends Forever. I usually love and have read almost every Danielle Steele book, but this one just had a little too much death and tragedy for me. I guess that it just isn't what I had expected from the book. Of course I know that there have been things that have happened in some of her other books, but this one it just went on and on, almost to the point of enough already. This book was an easy read, but I wanted to feel good after reading it, and just didn't get that with this one.

Not good. This was my first Danielle Steele book; I purchased it because the synopsis sounded great. However I was severely disappointed by it... Not sure if all her books are this way, but the writing and grammar was very poor.

Horrible!!. This has to be the worst book I've ever read. I think the author was trying to 'keep it real'.....yes death happens, and it awful, but who wants to read a book where most of the characters die!?! I know I'm spoiling it, but trust me I'm doing u a favor. Do not buy this book! She has MANY more good reads, don't settle for this one

Friends forever. This is the first time I really regret spending money on a book. This was the most depressing book I have ever read. Total lack of entertainment or even thought provoking. Many books do have emotionally moving parts but in the end you feel it was worth the read. I am so so disappointed. I believe I have read every one of her books but this will be the absolute last.
