Where'd You Go, Bernadette. This is definitely worth reading. Funny, entertaining & thought provoking. Thoroughly enjoyable. Loved that it is set in Seattle, my home town.

A must read!. I devoured this book over a two day period. The humor and emotion was so real and easy to relate to. Getting absorbed into this story was like a mini vacation in cuckoo land but one that I didn't want to end. You come out in the end loving all of the characters for their flaws and their honesty. So cleverly written, so enjoyable to read, so easily to become obsessed with. I want to "hang" with Bernadette! And I want Bee to be there with us.

A let down. I had high hopes for this book because I had read good reviews and also saw where it was going to be made into a movie. The book flipped back and forth to much to really get interested in the actual story plot, it told past and present in a mix between emails, first person and third person, I like to be sucked into a books story line and i want to feel connected with the characters, this book was impossible for me to do that. I gave three stars because I did like how one of the moms enemies, that was out to get her ended up helping her when she needed it, I thought Audrey’s story was far more interesting than some of the main characters.. I may read another book by this author and see if this is her go to writing style and if it is then I don’t guess her books are for me..

Where'd you go, Bernedette. I don't write many reviews but I do read a lot of books. This was the quirkiest story...ever...and I loved it. It took a while to actually get In to it. About half way through...i couldn't put it down. It made me smile, laugh, shack my head. I had fabulous visions of All the happenings and places. I really enjoyed it.

Not my favorite. This book is unique in how it is written. A few parts I liked, when Bee and her dad were in Antarctica, but overall, not so much. I simply could not relate to Bernadette at all. People go thru both personal and professional disappointments and failures all the time, a lot worse than she did, but have to adapt and move on. Would I Recommend it, no.

Boring. I love to read, and when I saw this was coming to the theater, I immediately bought it. I tried multiple times to get through this book and would have to go back and reread parts due to uninteresting characters and the way it jumped around. I wouldn’t read for days, so I would have to go back and look to see who they were talking about. I read about 57% and never went back.

Disappointing. I wanted to love this after reading other reviews and I can’t. It was a disappointing read and chaotic ending. I never even laughed. Not seeing the hype and not sure why it’s been made into a movie.

Great Start, Filled Center, Weak Ending. This book started as a well-written, multi-character, work that transitioned into too much stuffing, and finally a dismal end that was fit-in with profanity in an apparent attempt to disguise the lack of quality work in the "hurried feel" ending. If the book had been finished in the manner that it was started it could have been great.

Where'd You Go, Bernadette. Very funny. I read this in three days grabbing time whenever i could. These characters are so entertaining that you want to meet them. They're also all great examples of how we are all complex, with both highly redeeming and not so attractive attributes. The ending was a bit far fetched but I still liked it.

Unique amazing read. This books main character is so relatable. Fantastic, funny , sweet book.

Ehhh … OK, but not Outstanding. I was enthusiastic by all the great reviews but I found this book to be only so-so and had to force myself to finish it. The dialog was annoying and the book had so many insignificant details that just took up space, not really adding anything to the book. I'm a voracious reader and go through 1-2 books a week and I'm glad I only wasted a Saturday on this one.

Hilarious, witty sarcastic and pessimistic view of a jaded middle aged mom. So many mothers will relate to the impulsive reactions Bernadette has to over involved and elitist parents who are invested in their child’s KINDERGARTEN acceptance. You know what’s coming down the ramp when this kid is college application ready. Great story of an artistic genius who doesn’t conform to the norms, exhibits quirky, off the cuff behavior but does this quirkiness have more to it?? Couldn’t put it downp

Odd Ducks. A compelling story of eccentric, but likable people. It’s a brisk read and very thoughtfully written. I recommend it highly.

Iffy. I'm still not 100% sure if I liked it or not..... I got bored in a few places and just wanted it to be over 100 pages out. Upon completion I'm just not sure. I did enjoy the presentation for sure. Different.

Oh, what fun. ...it was to read this delightful book. I resented every thing that took me away from it. It was so different from anything else I've read - and that's hundreds of books. At first, I thought it was a Jody Picoult type of read, but was soon disabused of that notion. This is money well spent for entertainment.

Hooked Up. Once you start reading it, you'll get hooked up. All the characters in the story have their own good quality and flaws. It's quite fast-paced and in the third act, it seems like an escapist thriller. As a son myself, I love reading something about mothers and this is something new to me. It's really entertaining and I highly recommend it.

Where'd you go Bernadette. I loved this book! Bee was way more intelligent than any 8th grader that I know but, having two very intelligent parents it's realistic and understandable. And who knew that Audrey could step outside her box of superiority and see herself for who she really was. I never did end up liking Soo-Lin, once the victim always the victim. I loved the ending, I could almost guess it but was still unsure of how it would end. Very entertaining read that kept me flipping the pages. It left me wanting more.

Recommend! Good and easy read!. I really liked this book. It held my interest the whole way through. I enjoyed that the book always turned in directions that I didn't expect. The only thing I would have preferred is more story at the end.
