AMAZING!. I haven’t been this captured by a book series in a VERY long time. I read the first 4 books in 4 days. Quinn is a phenomenal writer. She is bringing a new take on the supernatural world, and she makes you want more with every word. All of the characters are so love able - You’ll feel like you’re right along with the characters in this enchanting world. SIMPLY AMAZING!!

Fantasy for all. Delightful. Well written, good characters, the first book of a long series, and I really like shape shifters.

Prince of wolves. The book was good. I didn’t like all the slang/ “in style” terms used. It was just over user and trying to be trendy. The plot was good and loved the characters. Just wish it was more adult and not so much teen.

A Beautiful Beginning. The first time I picked up "Prince of Wolves" I had no idea of the years long journey that moment started. You're going to love Jacque, Sally, and Jen and all the friends that join them in the Grey Wolves Series by Quinn Loftis. It all starts here. By all means, begin!

So romantic I almost died. This book is so good! It starts with a transfer student from Romania (you can see the hotness dripping from his body through the page) named Fane moving in across the street from Jaclyn. You can already see the chemistry between them in their first interactions, but it only gets more intense once Jaclyn figures out who Fane really is. They have such a cute relationship that I literally have screamed, laughed, and cried so many times!

Get it!!. Funny and romantic ❤️

Disappointed. This book used to be so good but over the years the story’s changed and now Jacque isn’t even Jacque any more the words have been changed so much that I don’t even like the book anymore. It’s really sad because this used to be a comfort novel and now I hate it.

Wanted the story unending.. As I read this book it took me on an emotion filled ride. I laughed,shed tears and even held my breath in anticipation as if I were right there with the characters seeing through the windows of their hearts. Really connected with the friendship and the reality of the girls portrayed. .really want to see this through till the continuing of the story.

Prince of Wolves. So great! I laughed, was in the edge of my seat, and I really wish I had a friend like Jen. Great read, now moving on to book 2!

Needs a lot of work. Very unbelievable.. Very unrealistic even for a fantasy. The story started out ok if not slightly unrealistic but quickly spiraled into unbelievable and annoying. Everything about their relationship happens too fast. The marks she developed that are supposed to be on an ‘intimate and private’ part of her body only for her true mates eyes, are in a very public place any girl wearing a strappy dress, tank top or swimsuit would show. This means if they are never to be seen by others she has to wear a turtleneck for the rest of her life something impossible for their location of Texas. This other alpha tells her he claimed her before her true mate arrived, and instead of ask why someone she’s never even met before would want to claim her or why he thinks he has a right to claim her, she instead asks him how old he is and never even addresses it. Nor does she even ask why he thinks he claimed her when she never heard any such claim until after her true mate came and never actually bothers to find out. The amount of times that the phrase ‘turned their heads to expose their neck’ to show deference to the alpha got annoying real quick. Fane telling his host family went so smoothly, (no disbelief, no needing to see him change for proof) that it was absurd. Also she tells her friends EVERY. SINGLE. THING. No secrets no leaving anything out, and her friends take the news better than she does as if they always knew and it’s no big deal but they have to take care of her fragile mind that can’t handle it like they can. Plus her friends hardly ever go home. They are ALWAYS around. The fact that he always wants to ‘tell her later but not right now’ for everything makes it all seem monumental (like what Luna means) when they are really small insignificant explanations that wouldn’t take long and I wish would be explained quickly and move on not something I have to keep remembering for later. It distracts from the story. Overall this story just bugged me and I would not read on.

Great book. Ive read the grey wolf series 3 times and I cant get enough of them but this first will probably always be the best. Thanks Quinn for all you do to keep us entertained.

Give it a chance and you’ll love it. I first read this book back in 2013, and have read it again multiple times since. This is the book that got me hooked on the Grey Wolves universe and I’m glad to be around 10+ years later! To everyone who wrote the 1 star reviews saying it was like a child wrote it… this was the first book that Quinn ever wrote and she has admitted that her writing has grown a lot in the 10+ years since this one was written. Just give it a chance and maybe you’ll come to love them like all us 5 star readers do

As a wolf lover and expert.... ...I try to find books which are partly fiction and partly non fiction. This is none of that. This is partly trash and partly ####. “Come to mama foreign boy,” Jacque whispered.” I’ll take care of those kinks.” That line really gave me the hebbie jebbies.

i honestly loved iy. it got a great leading hook to it. personally it drew me in!! i was taken w it as soon as it started....i absolutely fell in love w the characters they’re so well put together❤️😍😍😍 and the way he just ugh i love this book! he’s ex language is so sexy i CANNOT it just to much he so mr tall dark and handsome!!!!!!!! i want sum like that :( 🤪

Grey Wolves Series. These characters are always AWESOME, FUNNY, LOVING! I have giggled and cried so many times reading! The writer really knows how to put feeling in to her words so that you feel for these characters too!

Hmmm.. I read this series a few years ago and rereading it again this series was definitely changed compared to before. It’s a immature and this seems like a book that i can read offline, which really makes me sad because i loved this series a lot! i hope they have a version of the old one so i can reread that one!

Audio and book. Okay I love these books but the audio does not match the books. Words are changed and it does sound better but I’m one that like to read while listen to audio while traveling. It is very frustrating. But love these books will all my heart and will continue to listen or read these over and over if I’m ever between books and don’t know what to read.

3 stars. I’m never one for the characters falling in love so quickly because I feel like they should get to know each other more before giving out the “I love you’s” but the story line was good. I might read the next book but I’m not overly eager for it.

Okay, so listen…. This book could have been good, and some of the author’s other writings are, but this one did not hit the mark. The plot was wildly rushed - to the point where it was outlandish and kind of annoying. And the love build up? Y’ALL. Literally nothing substantial happened. There was nothing to build Jacqueline and Fane’s love besides their mating bond. They didn’t get to know each other at all, and they were all of a sudden in love? No ma’am. I don’t buy it. And that’s the thing, with the whole automatic mating bonds trope - the author has to lead you to where you DO buy it, and that just doesn’t happen here. This is not to mention that there was no build up or background on the antagonist, there were essentially 2.5 locations where the entire story took place, and the characters are each about as deep as a kiddie pool. And that’s including the mains! The reader knows almost nothing substantial about them, their back stories are nonexistent, and their personalities are one dimensional at best. The story at the base of this had potential, but the execution was severely lacking (to put it lightly). Maybe I shouldn’t have expected much from a book that was free? But this was just disappointing. Free as it may be, if I were to go back, I don’t think I would have wasted my time on it. It’s just full of wasted potential and poor execution

The book that started it all. Thank you. This book started my obsession with their entire Grey Wolves Universe. I would like to say that this book was really well written and it capture my attention for years. I still read it once in a while because it’s just nostalgic. It truly is one of my favorite books.

I know what you are thinking.... Because I was thinking it too. Another YA book about supernatural creatures and young love. And you might even be pretending to gag. Well you are right, but not about the gagging. This book, Prince of Wolves, had been on my recommended listed on Good Reads and iBooks for a LONG time! I kept skipping over it, not sure why. I think I thought I had already read it or something. Anyway, I finally gave in and decided to give it a try. That was on Sept 19, but Oct 13th I had finished both the Grey Wolves Series and the Gypsy Healer Series (and an anxiously awaiting the release of Book 12 in the GWS). OK, back to the review. The book sucked me in from the beginning. Loftis makes the world seem so real and feasible. The language used, the story line, everything was just so easy to read and follow and kept me saying...one more chapter, one more page...etc. I literally could not put it down. Needless to say, I was hooked. So, if you are thinking about reading this book (which you are because you are reading reviews), take the leap. I doubt you will regret it (well you may because you will spend WAY too much time reading instead of sleeping..or eating...etc). :) Enjoy!

Loved this book. This book is amazing. It has humor, longing, mystery, and best of all. . . Werewolves. I read the second one too, but I feel very disappointed because you have to buy the last of the fourteen books. I plan on reading them all one day tho. I recommend it to anyone who loves a good story, and loves Texas humor and LOTS of sarcasm 💯❤️🔥👌🌅 I really wish I had friends like Jen and sally. (Altho I am sally, I still wish I had a friend like her.). It would never get boring.

Amazing!!!. This is such an amazing book!! I plan on buying all 8 books. I'm in love with this book because it has my two favourite subject : romance and werewolves, and the author does such a good job to mix them up in a beautiful way. If you read the first book, you can't stop!! Unless you didn't like the first one, which is practically impossible ^^ I recommend it!!!

Okay.... I thought that the whole concept and plot was just so..cheesy. It seems very unrealistic and can be relatable to Twilight. That's how bad it was for me. I wanted to stop reading because of how much I hated the main character. She was so annoying and I had to force myself to keep reading. The writing was amazing and most of the time the grammar was correct (that's why I gave it two stars instead of one).

After starting to read, i realized that Fane matched my dream boy's description perfectly!!!! I loved the way he was from Romania( throughout the book, I even learned some words myself, like multimesk!) everything in this book is perfect and i can't wait to read blood ritals!! This book made me cry so much, laugh out loud, kept me up till midnight on a school night and honestly i cannot wait to meet my own soul mate and i hope he matches Fane's description!! Thank you so much for writing such an amazing book!! You are one of the best writers ever and somebody should make a movie out of it!!! It could be the next twilight!!! Although i am SUPER bummed that i finished reading Prince of wolves, I will adore reading whats next up in line!!! So deeply, from the bottom if my heart, thank you so much for this book!!!

Nail biting start to a Series of well written books. I have read Price Of Wolves numerous times, but I still keep getting drawn into the book. I love the way it is written, the way Quinn portrays the differences between humans and werewolves. Jacque is human, or so she thinks. Fane is not. When she starts hearing a voice in her head, she freaks out. And had it not been for her two partners in crime, Jen and Sally, she would’ve totally lost the plot. Needless to say, this a page turning book, full of love, laughter, and the “two-year old” tantrums. Most of all, it is about the love of two soul mates.

I LOVE the relationship between Jaque and her friends, it's just hysterical. First time reader of this author, but long time fan as of now!

All the emotions. I just finished reading Prince of Wolves and I absolutely loved it! The characters were well developed and provided a perfect balance of comic relief and mate ship. Definitively recommend it to anyone in search for an exciting, edge of your seat, hysterical novel. Some grammatical errors need to be addressed but aside from that well done, loved it.

LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!. These books are seriously on my list of favourite fantasy books. I remember when I started reading the series I couldn't stop laughing when I turned the next page. I've finished all of them so far and I can't wait to see what happens next :D

DNF. Seriously?? Was my reaction when I read the sample. I'd read the description and even then I was sceptical. But I decided to give the book a try, since it had so many five stars. And, boy, did I regret it. Lemme start with, in general, the writing. Sentences didn't link; one went on for a paragraph surviving just on commas. Change of PoV between Jacqueline and Fane would be indistinguishable if they hadn't actually put in the person's name. And, really? Did I really need to read about every single mundane task the characters did?? The other thing that really irritated me was the simple sentences like "She was nervous" WHY IS SHE NERVOUS?????????? The author probably intended to want us to infer that meeting a new boy would be nervous but I would have liked a better clarification. Even worse, the talk between Jacqueline and her friends was very boring and unoriginal. Did we really need to know that Jacqueline kept on having problems calling the exchange student the exchange student??? It wasn't the fact that she had problems not calling him a hottie, but that the author chose to repeat it in short(again, comma surviving) and basic-no offence but something like you get from a fanfiction author. Note: there are some really good fanfiction authors out there but some are quite difficult to read. The characters, mainly Fane and Jacqueline had literally little to no personality. It sounded like one person with two different life. I think the book would have been better had it been directly the character's PoV- sorry forgot-was it first or third person? In conclusion, really disappointed that with actually an interesting blurb it was a disappointment.

Couldn't get into it. I tried to read this story but found myself skimming and then finally just giving up. It's really annoying reading a chapter from one characters POV and then the next chapter from another's POV which basically repeats what I already read. It's just seems a waste of time. The characters were annoying and it seemed like the author was just trying too hard to make the characters funny and it's was just too much for me - it made them seriously cheesy and lame. The idea of the story is good but I honestly just couldn't enjoy it because it wasn't written very well and so it was hard to throw myself in to this fictional story.

Amazing. I don't ever write reviews I do the star rating but this series is incredible and I'm a 32 year old who reads about 6 books a week. Seriously take my advice and read this series it is romantic absolutely hilarious and will have you on the edge of your seat and as how most series get boring and are never as good as the first one this is amazing the hole way threw so keep reding trust me you won't get much sleep because you won't be able to put them down.

Another thing you might want to look at, there's this app called Wattpad that I use, and this person has copied your book, same cover, title, characters, everything. I'm pretty sure that's not allowed even though in the book she's said that she copied your book for others to read. :/ Idk, you might wanna check it out. I told her, but she hasn't replied. Like w the blurb, it's something along the lines of 'this book is already writing so do not copy'. I mean, if your books got Copyright all over it, it can't be copied right? Under no circumstances. Another girl told her about your book and others as well but she just said she's copying others books for other people on Wattpad to read but idk. I think it's pretty dog to do that so I thought you better know just in case. I don't wanna sound like I'm dobbing on her so il stop now. Her username on Wattpad is 111awesome I think. The plot is nice BUT THE ROMANIAN IS HORRIBLE. Okay so I found this book here and I remember I read it when I was a teenager (in 2016-2017). At that time the plot was amazing and it was easy to read. However, as a Romanian, I CRINGED AT EVERY ROMANIAN WORD. The sentences were grammatically wrong and it had a huge impact on how I felt reading the book.

Prince Of Wolves. I have to say that I was absolutely delighted when I began to read this book. At the time of purchase I had not heard anything about this book or about Quinn, but the title and cover just caught my eye. Needless to say, I fell in love with the book, the characters, and Quinn Loftis has become one of my most favorite authors. I love Jacque, Jen, and Sally, and the chemistry and humor that flows between them. I found myself laughing out loud numerous times, especially at Jen's snarky remarks. I love Quinn's take on the werewolves in this story, and the way she presents the whole werewolf concept. I have to say that I am now definitely "Team Fane," who by the way is Jacque's totally hot werewolf soul mate and he is completely "swoon worthy." It makes you want to say, as Jen would, "I want one," (Meaning a hot werewolf). Quinn is a very talented author and Prince of Wolves is one of those books you just don't want to put down. There was a great balance of humor, hot romance, action, and and suspense in this book. If you love young adult fiction (whether you are a young adult or not), I think you will be pleasantly surprised with Prince of Wolves.

Amazing. Recently, I have been in that phase where you have read loads of books, and for the last six months, I haven't really read any good ones. My friend had the same problem and recommended this to me. Oh my gosh, I'm glad she did. This is an absolutely fantastic read, with clever witty characters. Each can make their own predictions as what is to happen, and I was quite pleased to be proved wrong. However, it did end quite abruptly for me, (my phone said I had a hundred pages left of the book, and it finished) but it is still an essential read. Trust me, you'll love it xxx

Excellent book, excellent author. I recently finished another paranormal romance series and whilst searching for another, came across this book. I read the reviews and was intrigued since I have never heard of the author. I read the book, and have to say that I am in no way disappointed. It’s without a doubt one of the best books I have come across, and I will most definitely purchase the second book. It’s an amazing book and I highly recommend it.

Love it but translations into Romanian are not correct most of the times. Loved it, but please please check the Romanian translations, as most of them don't make sense at all. They haven't been adapted or translated in the right tense. PS: I am Romanian, so believe me when I say it hurts my brain to read the translations like that haha. Other than that, love it! 😊

Ugh. First of all, whoever says that this is an AMAZING book, clearly have not read a real book in their lives. This book lacks so many things I don't want to list them all, but I'll comment the biggest errors. There's no suspense of any sort and the characters personalities are so cringy. They act that everything is so typical and normal like its no big deal "oh hey I'm wolf and your my other part of my soul" "Oh my gosh, really? Let's bond now!" And the events start off too fast. Obviously the author has no idea how bad her writing is. She needs more patience and ideas. -13yr old girl

Amazing. So good! I’ve read the series a few time and every time I love it even more! I’ve even bought hardcover to keep it handy.

Potential. This book had a great storyline originally set up, but was written by the wrong author. This author has no idea how seniors in high schools act. There is way too much unnecessary dialogue with the three friends where they talk like they’re in middle school. Everyone is constantly talking and interrupting and there isn’t enough actual action.

There’s something about.... This series! I love them I really do. The passion they feel towards each other, but also the action and comedy throughout each book. I love that no matter what each character doesn’t lose their sense of who they are even though the world around them is changing. The comedy actually had me laughing out loud!!! Some of these books could be put together that’s the only reason I gave it less than 5 stars but other wise the world building is fantastic, the characters are absolutely amazing and you wish that they were your best friends! I didn’t expect to like these, they seemed too young for me, but honestly they turned out so lighthearted and fun and they’re so nice to go back to when you need a good laugh!

Appropriate for Young Unskilled Readers. Painfully simple language, while still managing to be tedious and unrealistic. The author seems to use google translate for all the Romanian, and the way it is integrated into the book is very poor. Predictable plot, like that of any subpar teen supernatural romance. Though, it does help me feel confident in my own writing skills, seeing how so many people like it. Enjoy what you want to enjoy, but it is not well-written and can become irritating if you have even a vague understanding of English sensibilities.

My absolute favorite!!!. Ever since I first read this book, I have downloaded it on every phone I’ve had. Its my absolute favorite teen romance, wolf book I’ve ever read, besides Twilight of course. But I don’t think that twilight is considered for teens though. I wish the rest of this series was free though, because I’m broke. I love this book, but I don’t know about the others, so I can’t say that I love this author since I’ve only read one of his books. But I definitely recommend reading this amazing story if you love werewolf books, and your a teen. Even if your not a teen I recommend it. I would rate this book a PG13 book if it was a movie. It has very little inappropriate things in it. At least compared to other books I’ve read. I’m a 14 year old Christian and I love this book!

Awful. This book felt like it was written by a 13 year old. Descriptions were unimaginative. The conversations were dull and drug out. Lots of run on sentence and grammatical errors. The love story was super rushed. I think they were dating by chapter 5. Everything was explained way too early, there was no suspense. Oh your a werewolf? Please take 10 pages explaining(in extreme detail) how it all works. Oh there’s a bad guy after us? Please take an entire chapter explaining to us who he is and why he’s after us. And don’t even get my started on her friends. Literally. Complete. Idiots. I got so bored with the book, I ended up only reading till about chapter 10 then just skimmed the rest. I don’t understand how this book has so many 5 star ratings. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time

Amazing!!. I absolutely loved the connection and love between the two characters, and I loved how serious it all was but also I loved how funny all the characters were. Author has me hooked for YEARS.. It all started with this book and 5 years later I'm still hooked on the pages of the newer ones. The characters all have the best personalities you get attached to right away and the play on "werewolves" and other fairytale creatures is so unlike anything else I've read before. Each new character is almost like a new friend and each chapter is more enthralling than the last. I constantly want to share Quinn's books with others or randomly start sharing something funny that happened or one of my characters said with others around me and then I remember they haven't read the first 15 books. Lol. Anyways, if you're into this type of fiction, I definitely recommend all of her books. But they all start with this one;)

I know what you are thinking.... Because I was thinking it too. Another YA book about supernatural creatures and young love. And you might even be pretending to gag. Well you are right, but not about the gagging. This book, Prince of Wolves, had been on my recommended listed on Good Reads and iBooks for a LONG time! I kept skipping over it, not sure why. I think I thought I had already read it or something. Anyway, I finally gave in and decided to give it a try. That was on Sept 19, but Oct 13th I had finished both the Grey Wolves Series and the Gypsy Healer Series (and an anxiously awaiting the release of Book 12 in the GWS). OK, back to the review. The book sucked me in from the beginning. Loftis makes the world seem so real and feasible. The language used, the story line, everything was just so easy to read and follow and kept me saying...one more chapter, one more page...etc. I literally could not put it down. Needless to say, I was hooked. So, if you are thinking about reading this book (which you are because you are reading reviews), take the leap. I doubt you will regret it (well you may because you will spend WAY too much time reading instead of sleeping..or eating...etc). :) Enjoy!

It’s romantic, funny and everything a young fantasy romance book needs to keep you wanting more. I’m currently on the 7th book!!

Poor craftsmanship. If this author could spell, write grammatically correct sentences and learn to proofread, it would help immeasurably. Having to herk and jerk my way thru a sentence to figure out what the author actually meant makes an otherwise lightweight interesting read an absolute pain in the rear!
