MORE THAN 80 MILLION COPIES SOLD

Nominated as one of America’s best-loved novels by PBS’s The Great American Read

While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

Even more startling, the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion—a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci—and he guarded a breathtaking historical secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle—while avoiding the faceless adversary who shadows their every move—the explosive, ancient truth will be lost forever.

- Pretty good3 star

The writing is pretty sucky but the plot and storyline was fantastic. It was hard to get through just because the writing really bothered me but it was entertaining enough. I wouldn’t suggest it but its okay

- Boring and tedious2 star

This book was a drag to get through. It took forever to get to the end and not a very interesting plot.

- The Da Vinci Code3 star

I wanted to read the book because I saw the movie a lot and wanted to compare the two of them. I think the book is full of detail that the movie doesn’t have.

- Amazing- thought provoking thriller5 star

My favorite character of all time.

- A Good Book to Relax and Enjoy5 star

It’s been a while since I read this book, but I enjoyed it even more this second time than I did the first. It certainly doesn’t hurt that so many people act as if this book came from the theology section instead of the fiction section. A story that gets people’s feathers up because they’re too busy taking themselves far too seriously: what’s not to love?!

- Woah.🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯5 star

So when I picked up this book I was not prepared for it. I though this would be a mildly interesting mystery read. Not something that blew my mind after every page. Dan continues to confuse and amaze at every twist and turn. What you think will happen and what does happen are so different I was laughing at myself! I love this book and I recommend it for anyone who wants to have their mind blown after every single chapter. Some say this is offensive to their religion but this is a work of fiction and while there are truths and facts hidden through its mostly about a conspiracy theory and shouldn’t hold any weigh unless you allow it to. I loved it. Definitely the greatest mystery I’ve ever read. Than you Dan.

- Amazing5 star

This novel is very enthralling and mentally stimulating. If you are someone that is open minded and questions the world, then I would read this book. Great plot.

- Incredible5 star

Incredible book and I absolutely love the series

- Church and state.4 star

Many references were unknown at first glance, therefore, I was unable to fully understand the metaphorical prose Brown enunciated in his works. As far as character development and the addition of various treasured landmarks, this has been an interesting experience. I’ve yet to finish, but I own the novel. The ability to revisit with a fresher perspective at a later date is somewhat refreshing. The hardback is aesthetically pleasing, in comparison with the digital copy — the value remains the same, though prices differ dramatically.

- Gripping book, a must read5 star

This book is a gripping read that will have you wanting to pick it up and dive deeper into the story. A must read for anyone.

- Good Murder Mystery But Offensive to Christian Religion3 star

Really good plot for a murder mystery. However, as an active Catholic who did not know what the book was about, I disagree with the view presented about the Church and her doctrines. I found it offensive that the book was supposedly stating that the Catholic Church's believe of Christ being both man and divine and other aspects mentioned are incorrect.

- Must read.5 star

I'll be honest, I saw the movie before I read the book-the book was released when I was in 7th grade so obviously Cosmo and Seventeen magazine were ranked a little bit higher than Dan Brown lol. Once I saw the movie though, I felt like I couldn't really appreciate it until I read the book myself-and I LOVED it. It started my summer of binge reading every Dan Brown book released at the time and I can't wait until the next book. Two thumbs up from this girl.

- 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👌🏿5 star

Breezed through this book, love Dan brown

- Fantastic story, terrible storytelling3 star

Reading this the second time and knowing the eventual plot, I was starting to pay more attention to the actual quality of authorship - and I think people overlook in the excitement of following the twists and turns in this fantastic roller coaster of a story one very basic fact: Dan Brown is a lousy writer. He is at best an amateur at writing a decent novel, and his style becomes very annoying once you look closer into how he is telling the story, not just where that story is taking you.

- Love it!5 star

After I read "angels and demons", I had to read more. Although Angels and Demons was slightly better, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and most certainly did not regret buying it.

- Greaaaatt3 star

This book is very well written and exiting, although Brown really needs to study religion cuz he was soooo off on Christianity.

- Loved it!5 star

I love everything Dan Brown writes......this is one of his very best ones!

- A must read5 star

This book is amazing, well put together. You must read this, if you like mystery and excitement.

- Absolutely Brilliant!5 star

Great book! Strongly recommended.

- Awesome5 star

Among one of the better books I've read in awhile, I couldn't put it down. I even skipped class to read the last several chapters!

- Page-turner5 star

I never got into these Dan Vinci Code books, but saw the movie. Into the first few pages, and already I'm intrigued. People, download the sample, it is the entire book, over 500 pages. Well-worth the read and may get you started with Dan Brown.

- Great Read5 star

I highly enjoyed reading this book. I've seen the movie numerous times. The book took me on a different journey than the movie. I'd highly recommend reading it!

Dan Brown is a great writer. I really addicted all of his novel!

- Davinci Code1 star

Apple Store advertised the book as free limited time and then proceeded to charge me $10.81 when I downloaded it. Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act prohibits such false advertising. I thought Apple was better than this.

Couldn't put it down! It's is the best book ever!

- Simply amazing5 star

Dan Brown is an amazing writer. I couldn't stop reading this book. It was life changing, I just finished it, but I think I'll start reading it again now!

- Most intriguing book you will ever read!!5 star

Great book that provides a thrill to the reader and also provides knowledge and history that goes along great with the novel! Definitely couldn't put it down!

- Love it5 star

Love all of Brown's books but this one is a must read.

- Possibly The Worst Book Ever2 star

Despite selling 80 million copies and being translated in 44 languages, "The Da Vinci Code" is extremely inaccurate because it doesn't explain religion correctly and Dan Brown must to mass every Sunday in order to learn religion! Fix it, Brown!

- Great book, until....................3 star

..............the ending. You have to hand it to Dan Brown. He really knows how to write an exciting story! I was spellbound all the way though it-I couldn't put it down! But the ending as such a letdown. After all that excitement, I was expecting so much more, & didn't get it.
