Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner
Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner Book Summary
An unexpected love story…
Jules Strauss is a Princeton senior with a full scholarship, acquaintances instead of friends, and a family she’s ashamed to invite to Parents’ Weekend. With the income she’ll receive from donating her “pedigree” eggs, she believes she can save her father from addiction.
Annie Barrow married her high school sweetheart and became the mother to two boys. After years of staying at home and struggling to support four people on her husband’s salary, she thinks she’s found a way to recover a sense of purpose and bring in some extra cash.
India Bishop, thirty-eight (really forty-three), has changed everything about herself: her name, her face, her past. In New York City, she falls for a wealthy older man, Marcus Croft, and decides a baby will ensure a happy ending. When her attempts at pregnancy fail, she turns to technology, and Annie and Jules, to help make her dreams come true.
But each of their plans is thrown into disarray when Marcus’ daughter Bettina, intent on protecting her father, becomes convinced that his new wife is not what she seems…
With startling tenderness and laugh-out-loud humor, Jennifer Weiner once again takes readers into the heart of women’s lives in an unforgettable, timely tale that interweaves themes of class and entitlement, surrogacy and donorship, the rights of a parent and the measure of motherhood.

Cute cute cute!. I really enjoyed this book! It wasn't the best I've read, but it was definitely a good read. The ending left me happy and fulfilled!
didfffff. F
Then Came You. Tough to get through this slo-moving book. Chapter breakdown presenting various characters viewpoints was disjointed and confusing til i finally figured who was who. Not enough development of characters. Not loving this one. My fave Weiner book is still Good in Bed.
An easy comfortable read.... A nice summer distraction, nothing too profound or complicated to bother your head with...
Not one of her best. Not one of her best, and probably my least favorite book of hers. It was hard to keep track of the characters. The story was a bit unbelievable and the characters forgetful. I forced myself to finish it because I hate not finishing books. Hopefully her next one will be better!
Then Came You. Confusing and disjointed. Didn't enjoy this book AT All :0(
It's okay.. I read the book and finished it. It's not life changing or anything.
great. can't say i was totally hooked, but its a good read finished in 5 days, the characters are amazing and the writer is great
Loved this book. It was my introduction to Weiner's books
Great.. Loved this book. It was a great Summer read. I finished the book in less than a week. The characters were great also.
Wonderful book!. I enjoyed this book so mych that I read it in one sitting!!!
Good but.... It was a good book but really hard to get into with characters jumping from chapter to chapter, in the end makes sense but very slow to get into, took a while to finish this one.
wonderful read. Engaging read, hard to put down.
Liked it a lot. I'm not what you'd call a big reader, so it isn't often that a book draws me in. I really liked this book. It was touching and even though the character changes in each chapter were harder to keep up with, it kept me interested the whole way through. Was sad when I got to the end of the book, I wanted to keep reading. The ending gives you closure to what happens in the future to the characters which I also liked.
Ok. Ok
Great beach read. I love all of Jennifer Weiners books but this one was really great! Good story line.
Such a great read!. Great book for someone who likes light reads (nicholas sparks, sophia kinsella, jodi piccoult) COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN, slightly informational too!
Excellent couldn't put it down!. Loved it!!!
Engrossing story. I really enjoyed this book. This story, about such strong unique women from broken families of origin who come together to create life and somehow their own nurturing family, touched my heart. I could not stop reading and could not wait to start another book by Jennifer Wiener.
First Book by the author I have read. I absolutely loved this book. I read the sample and was hooked and downloaded book and finished it in three days while my son napped or slept :)
Then Came You. Throughly enjoyed the characters and the story line. Couldn't wait to come to bed and continue the story every night It is a perfect summer read! Thanks again Jennifer for entertaining me this summer!! This was my FIRST downloaded iBook and wished I had a hard copy so I could have read more often during the day time by the pool. Looking forward to your next novel.
