Love It!. I never read the book honestly, but I saw the movie and it made me cry. I always wondered why disney never made the 2nd part of bridge to therabithia because the movie is so good is amazing the way they even made it it's so sentimental and so beautiful, the people that banned this book maybe is haters because I never seen any kind of profanity or atheistm coming from this movie. I don't understand why people talk about that this movie promotes atheism, I really want to encourage Disney to make the 2nd part of this movie or the writer to write a second part of this book

Nana. I would update have loved to give a better rating but when someone reads Washington the state of Washington comes to mind. If Washington DC had been used then there would have been NO confusion of the location of the story.

Achingly Beautiful. This book is just stunning. I read it when I was pretty young, maybe seven or eight, as I was an avid reader. And I loved it. I truly appreciated the beauty of the novel even at that age, though it is a good book to read with a parent as well. It's hard to describe it, but...Jess Aarons meets Leslie Burke. She introduces him to a whole world of fantasy—inside their heads. Using only their imagination, they create a whole kingdom in the woods. Warning: This novel will make you cry. And yet, it is so beautiful.

A quick read but an amazing book!. Bridge to Terabithia is a great classic that I have never even heard of until my friend loaned it to me and told me to read it. I read it in one night and at the end it had me crying because Katherine Paterson makes it so you step into the character Jess and start to feel what he feels and when the tragic event happens you also feel sad. I have never read a book like this but you should now!Over all it deserves a great big 👍

Just in awe! Great read!!. When the movie came out in theaters my 6th grade went to go see it. Never heard of it before but hey get outt'a school to go see a movie! Sounds good to me! Now I left the theater wanting more! I'll be honest not a lot of books do this but i honestly cried reading this book! You get to know everyone its like you are Jess or Leslie and when tragedy strikes i was just •_•... I love this book and the movie gone through 2 copies so far working on number 3! Over all this book is great it captures your imagination and puts you into the story! I recommend it to everyone! Seriously what are you still doing here!!! Go read this book!!!

Bridge to Terabithia. A wonderful read!! As adults, it's still hard for us to understand and accept tragedy. It has to be even more difficult for a child. This story helps all ages to "Bridge" over tragedy to a place where remembering lost loved ones doesn't hurt so much.

However, the talented author has outdone herself with her book Bridge to Terabithia. We join a young boy Jess Aarons, who befriends the new girl in school, Leslie Burke. The two of them encounter a totally original world of their own that they call Terabithia. It's a magical place they call their own. One day tragedy strikes and leaves Jess in the dust. After coming to grips with the tragedy does he learn the gift of love passion and friendship Leslie left him. Not only that, but he realizes that friendship can never be truly gone. It can last through anything, even death. This story is based on love friendship and faith. It has been my favorite story since I was a little boy. I encourage anyone who can read to read this heart touching tale.

Depressing. I'm really sad

A Classic. Bridge to Terabithia was my favorite book as a child. I've read it more times than I can count, even in my adult years. It's a story about friendship and imagination that is like none other that I have ever read. While some of the themes may be beyond a young child's comprehension, I think it teaches some important life lessons. The book teaches children to be true to themselves and cherish the friends who love them for who they are. I absolutely think it's a must read for anyone.
