Ok. Not what I excepted. Could use some work on the love, was recommended by other book author. Over all good plot. I will read the second, got to find out what happens.

Love the books!. I love this series! The only gripe I have is in the following books..the author "rewrites" known details about the characters from the previous books. It gets annoying re-reading details that are that happen in all the other books.

Disappointing. Book spends a lot of ink on sex scenes and gory deaths, with limited pages devoted to plot. Characters were one dimensional and the supernaturals didn't have anything that made you think "ooh that's cool.". Generally disappointing.

The book that started it all.... I grabbed this book with initial hesitation, as I wasn't crazy about the cheesy tagline. Yet it only took this book and I was hooked! Love the strong female (and male) character and the story line is unique. I highly recommend it! Beware: it's addictive!!!

Loved it! Can't wait to read more books in this series. I loved the development of the characters, the dialogue, and how everything had captivated. I usually don't like the endings of books they are usually boring or end so suddenly your scratching your head saying that's it. Not this book, I loved how it ended so much so I'm going to download the next book today. What a refreshing author. So glad I found this series.

Super exciting!. It keeps the reader wanting more. The humor is perfect and the vampire stud is what every vamp-lover dreams of. Definitely a five star book.

My favorite series. It's one of the very few series out there that starts off great but still somehow gets better and better as you read on.

Kitten. Buffyesque. Cat definitely was like Buffy. Never listening and constantly sacrificing herself for love that wasn't. Her mother could not have possibly loved her. She used her love as a weapon against her daughter. Terrible. With that said, I did enjoy most of the book. Quite funny at times. Hated the ending. I suspect Cat had to handle things that uway so the series to continue. The characters were very well developed. Loved Bones. He was funny. The story was also very good. Cat was a bit much to swallow at times, but I guess it was to be expected being raised by a women who didn't love you. A little sad actually. Giving up the one who did love you for the one who didn't. I do recommend the story. Although I did not score it 5 stars, I thought it was an enjoyable and exciting read. I agree with other reviewers, the first 50 percent is pretty good. Stay with it after that and it gets better. Until the end.

Not good. I couldn't finish. Boring and exhausting trudge through choppy dialogue and hollow attempt of building a relationship between superficial characters. She is so naive it's not plausible, and his British accent is just annoying. Had to just put it down. I really wanted to like it...

I'm Addicted. I haven't quite decided what I love the most about this series; the hardcore action with a strong heroine, the charming and romantic hero, a different outlook on the supernatural realm, or the hot and steamy love scenes. There is nothing left to be desired in this series besides craving MORE!

Halfway to the grave. Little depth. Had to read half the book to start to get the feel of the characters.

Great chemistry. Really enjoyed the chemistry between Cat and Bones. Bones is hot AF (and he gets better and better in books 2&3). The plot is a bit linear but the characters liven it up.

Amazing. I started this series 2008-09 and have been the biggest fan since. 10 years later and still amazed that it’s just getting better. Definitely go in the author’s website to know the order of the books because it’s worth it. This is the first book so I’m rating it 5 stars because it’s the start of it all.... but first book as amazing as it is the series gets better and keeps you turning the page because you can’t guess what’ll happen next. The sex is great but the chemistry and action is better. And trust me the sex is great 😂 I only wish this could be a tv show but I don’t want the chance for them to ruin the characters or I’ll be pissssssed.

Cat and Bones..Fantastic. One of the best, believable vampire stories I have ever read. The characters are so real you identify with them and feel like you are right in the action. Can’t wait for the next instalment.
