Excellent Thriller Characters are so real Plot continually thickens
It was a good storyline but very predictable. I was hoping to be surprised by who did it but it was so obvious.
Poor character development and not realistic on police work. An FBI agent can’t close cases and get successful prosecution by relying on gut instinct. Based on this book, Harley’s instincts aren’t all that accurate anyway.
Do not read if you have work In the morning. So good you can’t put it down once you start. This would be a great show!
This was a great read. Had to finish it without interruption. Now, I’m on to the next book in the series.
I loved the book and storyline
Her past and her future is all unresolved, going from one killer case to another. Till she bent the rules, with time to look at her past when there was another killer in her home town to deal with. Good adventure to the end. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

A must read book. A really great FBI story.
Really enjoyed this book. I got really engrossed with the characters which felt like true characteristics with real feelings. Not over embellished and didn’t keep repeating facts, which is a great attribute of the author.

Kate Gordon Siegelbaum, known professionally as Kate Siegel ( SEE-gəl), is an American actress and screenwriter. She is best known for her collaborations with her husband, filmmaker Mike Flanagan, appearing in his films Oculus (2013), Hush (2016; she also wrote the screenplay with him), Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), and Gerald's Game (2017), as well as in his television series The Haunting of Hill House (2018), The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020) and Midnight Mass (2021). She has been dubbed a "scream queen" due to her work in horror films and television. Life Siegel was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. She attended St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Maryland, and graduated from Syracuse University in 2004. Siegel is Jewish. Siegel said in 2008 she was bisexual and had been in relationships with other women before. She married director Mike Flanagan in early 2016.
