Run For Your Life
Run For Your Life by C.M. Sutter Book Summary
With the weekend right around the corner, Homicide Detective Mitch Cannon is looking forward to Saturday night. It isn't often he has a date, and this one will be particularly interesting. His new friend Liza is beautiful, edgy, outspoken, and somewhat odd.
But Mitch's usual Friday-morning phone call to his mom sets the wheels in motion for five days of pure hell. Mitch's sister, Marie, has gone missing without a trace. His date is canceled, and Mitch's partner, Devon, and Liza also go missing the following night. The only clue is a call Mitch gets from someone whose number is blocked, the anonymous speaker saying, "Ticktock, ticktock."
Mitch and the entire Habersham precinct set out on a white-knuckle search to find his sister, partner, and new friend before time runs out and all three are gone forever.

Editorial Review
"Savannah Homicide Detective Mitch Cannon has a new lady friend, Liza, who walks on the wild side, but his concerns over her take a back seat when his sister Marie goes missing. The next day, his partner and Liza go missing as well, and all three disappearances are somehow linked to one of his past cases, but the police keep coming up empty when they try to find out how. The first installment in this new series is edgy, fast-paced, and often chilling. Sutter's fans will eat it up." Angela M., Line Editor, Red Adept Editing

Very good with a plot that made sense!

Never ever had a book like that ending. I wonât share any details with anyone here so just enjoy this book as well as I did because it really keeps you guessing up to the last page. Give it a try like I did and good reading. Ole grandma đ

Awesome Pages couldnât turn fast enough Loved every word of it

This book is oddly written, has poor pacing, and the âtwistâ was obvious from the start. Happy I didnât spend money on this one.

Loved it every step of the way! Suspenseful and kept me on my toes the whole time!!

Great Read. Couldnât stop until finished.

I liked the characters the most they were well developed especially Mitch. I look forward to reading the next one that follows this. Oh and there are a lot of surprises in this book too!

Enjoyed reading and found it a interesting story to read. Keeps you guessing what it coming next. I would recommend reading.

Very quick entertaining read that starts out fast and keeps you on your toes.

I like how mysterious it is, I was able to finish this book in about a day and a half because I couldnât put my phone down. Plus, I think I have a crush on Mitch??

I couldnât seem to want to put this book down during any point in it! I love how the author flip-flopped opposing perspectives during different chapters of this book! Very good read.

Worst book Iâve ever read! Like a 3rd grader wrote it. Not believeable

This story is a great read. I love thrillers that you canât put down and this story is a great example of that.

Read this in a day, obviously couldnât put it down. Great book that I would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the book. Just like the other books of yours that Iâve read. You keep writing and they will be read. Thanks!

Couldnât put this book down once I started reading was hooked from the beginning

Great

Some things I really liked about this book. But I canât tell and ruin it. I canât why this smart detective couldnât put Liza into perspective. Book 1 is about introducing characters and it was done well. Some grammatical errors made me cringe. All in all a not bad read.

This book was tedious. The dialogue was ridiculous and obvious, the women were gormless and unable to act without male instruction, there was so much huffing and head pointing it was tiresome and Mitch was annoying to the point where the book became unreadable.

Police procedural thriller, which is part of a series. This book can be read on itâs own. Good characters and suspense.

Fast moving and well written action packed thriller.

Read this book. You will Not be disappointed. Kept me reading not wanting to put it down

Was a good read kept me hooked throughout however the ending was slightly predictable and it ended really quickly. Wouldâve personally preferred a more detailed ending.

Very riveting story couldnât wait to get back to it

The story was quite good but I winced at the macho talk, as if straight out of a comic book. Made the characters 2-dimensional and unbelievable. But I did read the entire book.

Really good read, kept me hooked throughout with many twists and turns. However, only criticism is that the ending sort of just fades out in a couple pages, i feel like it couldâve been a tiny bit longer :)
