I loved the story. I wondered about the mom and oof she had some big secrets she too was hiding. Rochelle is like an onion, many layers. And hunter peeled them off one by one.
I loved it. Started reading and couldn’t put it down. Finished it in eight hours.
Normally if a book doesn’t grab me within the first 3 chapters I don’t try anymore. I really wanted to like this book and forced myself to read 3/4 of it but then just couldn’t anymore. I felt there were too many time jumps and lapses in the plot. From what I read there was no realistic solution to the problems they had. This is a book you can definitely skip. If I was going to judge this author by this book I would T pick up another one of their books.

So this was the first I’ve read from this author an let’s just say she knocked this one out of the park! (Pun intended) all of the characters were amazing! The spice was 🥵🥵 and let’s not forget the twist! I can not wait to read more from her!!
Evelyn does it again!! Twists that you don’t see coming! This is a sweet baseball story of love and happily ever after. As with all live stories there are obstacles that Rochelle and Hunter must overcome to find their HEA. You will root for them through every obstacle and interference that comes their way. Be ready to fall in love with Rochelle and Hunter! Don’t know a ton about baseball? That is okay! You won’t get lost with terminology, anything that you need to know will be explained without making diehard baseball fans annoyed. The baseball is background to the couple.
