This book was well written has a good story line and well developed characters. And a cliff hanger to three more books. No thanks…
Lucifer’s Sin is book 1 in the Walker Security: Lucifer’s Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. I loved being back in the Walker Security world. Lucifer & Ana’s story is full of danger, suspense and romance that Lisa Renee Jones always delivers. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next one!
This is the first book in the Lucifer’s Trilogy. A second chance romantic suspense story that is written in dual POV’s. Action packed, fast paced, filled full of secrets, sexual tension and danger. Get ready to have your heart pumping from the adrenaline rush, the combustible, sizzling, attraction, leaving the reader with the inability to be able to put this story down. As always this author know how to bring it. They had a past filled full of love, with a future they were both looking forward to until one fateful night. Now a few years later Lucifer Remington gets a call warning him that she is in trouble, they are both on a hit list. Dropping everything after not reaching her by phone, Lucifer and his Walker Security team head out into the night to find and protect the only love of his life, Ana. Ana is a experienced FBI agent. When Lucifer shows up with news of a hit list, and to warn her of the danger coming her way, she doesn’t want his help. But Lucifer is not having it. He will protect her with everything he has at his disposal, even with their difficult past. The fine line between love and hate between them is real. But when he overheard her telling the Walker team what happened that fateful night, he see that there could be more between them. There is still love, there is tenderness and the deep rich wonderful history they have shared together. But deep in the depth of all that is wonderful, there is still pain, torment and betrayal. There’s no turning back time. They are connected, and yet, they are broken, but somehow whole again, right here, right now. But is she ever going to be able to live with Lucifer and the truth? They have now. But do they have a future? And who is after them? Hoping to get more insight and answers in the next book. Can’t wait to get my hands on it pronto! I loved this book, and I can’t hardly wait to find out what happens next. I love second chance romances. Lisa Renee Jones writes suspense like no one else. Full of twist and turns and always unexpected along with great chemistry between Lucifer and Ana. This one is definitely a page turner.
This is a great read. I love how he came to protect her even though they both feel like they hate one another. I love reading about Walker security and how they come and help no matter what. They are family and I love that. That’s my kind of hero. A lot is happening and trying to figure out what is going on. I can’t wait until the next book. Absolutely loved it Lisa Renee Jones. I highly recommend
Welcome back to the world of Walker Security! Ms. Jones hits us readers with a bang, with mystery, suspense, and oh my me, the heat! Lucifer, Luke, Lucas, whatever you want to call him is an Alpha with a capital A! He has a dark past, and he sees Ana as his happy place until something tragic happens and Lucifer and Ana are no more. Ana is a bad mama-jama! She was raised to fight her own battles and always to have control. When she meets Lucifer, she believes she finds someone she can give up control to. When evil people want to hurt Ana, Lucifer comes back into her world with a vengeance. He has his reasons for "hating" Ana, but when death is knocking on Ana's door, he does what he must do to ensure Ana is safe. A thin line between love and hate is the central theme in this story. How can you hate someone that you love just as much? This is the start of a sure to be an exciting, smokin' hot trilogy that I cannot wait to read more of!
I received this book as an ARC, but I give my honest opinion. I did note that someone in the review comments didn’t read the FREE book to this series was Lucifer’s Beginning. For this book, Lisa the author, has done it again. Writing a new Tall, Dark, and Deadly/Walker Security “brother” has a personal life before, during and after work. Her name is Ana and she FBI. Luke was her past. Her present job is dishonoring her badge. This book starts the future, will it be together….. on to book 2.
No fault with this book, because it was another great romantic suspense book filled with emotions by this author! Lucifer was a “sensitive yet deadly warrior,” and I can’t wait to find out why his nickname is Lucifer. I loved that Ana was a smart, strong “deadly angel.” After the events in their past and with the mistakes they both made, which were heartbreaking to me, can they find a way back to each other? All I know is that I am rooting for them, and “with nothing is as it seems” I can’t wait to read book two in this trilogy! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.
I really wanted to love this book. The characters are there, however I felt like I walked in on the middle of their story. This book should’ve been book 2. That being said I would read this author again maybe just not this series.
