Minor league player Stone Dumelin lost his younger brother when the Titans’ team plane went down. He never expected the phone call that followed.

After a shoulder injury put my NHL career on ice, I resigned myself to the fact I’d never see my way out of the minor league again. As my career faded, my estranged brother’s star shot into orbit as the first line left winger for the Pittsburgh Titans. But when the team’s plane crashed returning home one night, his light was snuffed out, and I was given the opportunity of a lifetime.

Now I’m in Pittsburgh, playing for the Titans, and face-to-face with my dead brother’s ghost at every turn. His locker, his legacy, his persistent and annoyingly gorgeous attorney who won’t stop contacting me about his estate, even though I’ve demanded she leave me alone.

Harlow Alston would be extremely appealing if she wasn’t so aggravating. Only…that’s a complete lie. She pushes all the right buttons for me, and as much as I want her to quit pestering me about Brooks’s estate, I find myself intrigued by the fiery redhead who can’t take no for an answer. And the more I learn about Harlow, the more I find she might be the key to understanding who Brooks really was, and who I want to be.

I’ve got a second shot at a career I thought I’d lost and the opportunity to build something real with Harlow, but can I find strength to move forward or will my past dictate my future?

Don’t Miss this next one!. Have you started this series yet? Because if not, you need to! The Pittsburgh Titans know how to tug on your heartstrings. And boy oh boy, do you need some Stone in your life! This very emotional series continues on with Stone Dumelin. He lost his brother in the plane crash and he’s struggling with being “in his brother’s place”. He has a form of survivors guilt, like he shouldn’t be the one stepping up. However when he meets Harlow, she helps guide him through his grief. Their friendship is very unexpected but quickly becomes valuable to each of them. Since they started as friends, their love story is that more so of a slow burn. But it was needed for them to work through their demons to create that strong bond and solid foundation. Because this love story is one for the long haul. This profound tale hit me right in the feels; while it’s not overly emotional, you still feel the pain that Stone deals with daily that makes you want to reach into the book and give him a big hug. In the end we now know, love is earned. Always.

A MUST READ👓📖🏒🥅🏒🧋. Sawyer Bennett does it again. Absolutely Love Stone’s story and Harlow showed him how to love and trust. I also loved how she managed to write another series rebuilding another hockey team fro a terrible tragedy. Looking forward to reading Gage’s story.

an emotional and unforgettable read. I’ve said it before and I shall say it again that this author never ceases to amaze me with her wildly entertaining hockey romances! I have been most curious about Stone since he was first mentioned in the Pittsburgh Titan series and his story is everything! You would think that given the number of sports romances that this author has written that things would be getting stale, but each and every single one of her books have engaging storylines and unique characters. Thus making each novel an original and unforgettable read. Stone and Harlow’s story is sure to capture your heart and put you through an array of emotions. Both are strong, likable, perfectly flawed characters with a complexity that makes them seem so real and easy to identify with. They both have intriguing backstories and often times my heart hurt for these characters, especially for Stone. Stone managed to burrow his way into my heart and Harlow is the type of woman that I would love to have in my corner. The character development is spot on and I really enjoyed how they each grew individually and as a couple. This was an emotional read for me and I loved every minute of it! If you love hockey romances, this is one that you don’t want to miss! Stone is an emotional sports romance that is sure to pull at your heartstrings!

Great Read. Stone (Pittsburgh Titans #2) was a great read by Sawyer Bennett. Stone Dumelin is a minor league hockey player, who's brother was killed when the Titans' team plane crashed. His NHL career was iced after he sustained a shoulder injury. After his brother's death, he was give the opportunity of a lifetime. He is now in Pittsburgh, and playing for the Titans. He finds his brothers attorney annoying him while constantly contacting him about his estate. He finds himself attracted to Harlow Alston, but she is also aggravating him. The more he learns about her, the more he finds out that she may just be the key to understanding who his brother really was. I absolutely loved reading Stone and Harlow's story, and can't wait to read more by the author.

Great addition to series. What a wonderful HEA! Sawyer Bennett writes some of the best relationship stories I read. Hockey romance, friends to lovers genre, dysfunctional family, tortured hero, this book had it all. Stone is right now my favorite book boyfriend. Harlow is the perfect girlfriend for him, but this is a great slow burn romance. Stone is brother to Brooks, who was on the Pittsburgh Titans team that was lost when their team plane went down. Stone and Brooks come from a very dysfunctional family and their father has tried to play each man against each other. Once Brooks dies, Harlow becomes trustee to his estate which he has left to Stone. Stone was picked up from the minor league to play for the new Pittsburgh Titan team, but is having a hard time reconciling with the loss of his brother and feels so guilty he doesn’t want anything to do with the estate. This is where he meets Harlow and from there this story takes off. Another fabulous read from Ms. Bennett.

Couldn’t put it down!. Stone Dumelin is finally getting another chance at the big leagues but this chance has come with a rather high cost, the loss of his brother. A definite page turner! A heartfelt emotionally charged read sure to pull at the heartstrings with just the right amount sexiness and charm. Stone and Harlow are my new favorite couple!

Loved it!. 5 ⭐️ Stone by Sawyer Bennett is the second book in the Pittsburgh Titans series and holy wow it was fantastic! I have been a long time fan of Ms. Bennett’s and have read every single one of her books. With that being said-I feel this is her best work to date. I’ve experienced so many different types of characters and storylines with her work, but this book hits differently. Without giving too much away, Stone and Harlow were two amazing characters. Both were perfectly flawed but at the same time made complete sense. But nothing is ever that easy especially when you are dealing with a loss. Ms. Bennett takes you on an incredible journey of a man who has lived in his brothers shadow and of a woman who won’t ever give up. I loved this book so freakin’ much. This series already is my top favorite ever. I cannot wait for book 3!

My All New Favorite!. Oh my God! I just have to say that this might be my all new favorite from Sawyer Bennett! So if you haven’t started the Pittsburgh Titans series yet you’re missing out in a big way! This story is so much more than a hockey romance. This is a deeply emotional and heartwarming story that brings all the feels and the tears! Stone Dumelin has just lost his brother Brooks in a devastating plane crash that wiped out almost the entire NHL Pittsburgh Titans team. He is numb and angry as he struggles with guilt and regrets for not being closer with his brother. But when he is offered a position with the Pittsburgh Titans he accepts it. He knows he should be celebrating, but all he can think about is how wrong it all feels. Harlow Alston can’t believe her eyes when she gets a manila envelope and a handwritten letter from Brooks. He appointed her the trustee of his estate specifically wanting her to get his brother to read his journals. Being forewarned that Stone with fight her every step of the way. And he is so right about that. But Harlow is a force to be reckoned with, fierce as well as beautiful. They are exactly what the other needs. And or so very hot together! “Now the question is…what do I do to you? What’s going to make you squirm and scream the loudest?” I was under Stone and Harlow’s thrall, as these two connect in a beautiful, healing and growing connection. At times my tongue felt tied, and my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest, breathless. This romance is nothing like a normal romance…it’s, so full of yearning, its staggering, it’s full of heat, lust, and desire! And I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!!

To thine own self be true,

Stone Hot. There are sometimes when you see the cover of a book and go…no way not even close to the story! This cover hot hot hot just like our imperfect Stone! Loved him. While reeling from his brothers death Stone faces demons of his own with the help of his brothers friend Harlow. The story is exactly what I expect from Sawyer and in a series it is hard to deliver the heat but it delivers. It gives us so much insight into Brooks while it opens Stone right up so we can see his fears and weaknesses. Harlow has her own but she is the perfect balm for Stone. Love Odin the irresistible dog…who gives Stone a run for his money. Enjoyed it from start to finish! So good….

Stone by Sawyer Bennett | Pittsburgh Titans / Book 2 4 Maple Leafs ⏤ Stone is trying to start his life over again after losing his brother but his ghost and a persistent lawyer are making that difficult. Harlow is determined to get Stone to realize who his brother really was. Stone's life may be turning around for the better. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. Stone and Harlow both had their demons that they needed to work through but thanks to Brooks, Stone and Harlow were able to meet, become friends, and later more. I enjoyed the gradual growth of Stone and Harlow's relationship. I am looking forward to the continuation of the Pittsburgh Titans series. Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson were the perfect narrators for Stone and Harlow. They did a great job of bringing the characters and their story to life. Stone is a... sports (hockey), brother's best friend, lawyer, slow burn romance told in the dual first-person point-of-view.

A storyline that gripped my attention!. Stone is the second book in the new Pittsburgh Titans series. This story was really something. Stone’s family life wasn’t easy and with his brothers passing and being a new member of the Titans, he’s struggling and who could blame him. The emotions this book brought out of me, made me not put the book down till I finished and I was incredibly blown away by how Stone’s character changed. When Stone keeps getting messages from Harlow, he needs to get her to leave him alone. What eventuates after their meeting to discuss his brothers estate, is a storyline that gripped my attention and made me want to wrap him up in a hug too. I also really liked Harlow, for her kindness and her ability to help Stone in many ways. Stone needs to come to terms with some things and I wondered what direction their burdening friendship would take. Needless to say I really devoured the story and cannot wait for more of the series to come.

Superb seeing instalment. The second instalment of the newly formed Pittsburgh Titans series is equally as fabulous as the first. Stone Dumelin has his own variety of demons to conquer as he joins the team his late brother played on. Family, friendship, personal demons and a bit of romance all play integral parts in Stone’s story.

4 stars. A beautifully written story about grief and love. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for more of this series.

Loving These Hockey Romance Books.. There is something about this series that has me mesmerised. They still have the familiar SB brawn, steam and humor, but these are deeper. Not angsty, but a more enrichment to the stories. Everyone deals with a tragedy differently, and each story so far shows that. This book is even more touching because the main characters lost someone they loved on that plane. For Stone, it was his brother and Harlow, her closest friend - they both miss Brooks deeply. And even though Stone wasn't in touch with Brooks for a while, that brotherly bond is strong. One thing I am learning in my old age, is that there is nothing wrong with vulnerability, it is not a sign of weakness. It is totally the opposite, in both genders, that being vulnerable is actually an asset. It shows you have empathy and compassion, and that you have good heart. Nothing is more apt for both Harlow and Stone. Each have demons from their past that could control their life completely, but Harlow learns well before Stone that they are both stronger than their weakness. Each of them are going through their sorrow but they still have a softheartedness towards others and their own battles. I kept having this overwhelming feeling of sadness for Stone and his loss, and how it was piling up on him but it opened up his mind and allowed him to have a meaningful connection with Harlow. There are some great secondary characters as well - also some sleazy ones, but you'll know who they are when you get to them. The two I want to talk about are Bonita and Odin. Bonita is Harlow's right hand gal in the office and she is a hoot! I loved her sharp wit and her heart of gold. But the one that stole the show for me was Odin, that big mutt! Being a dog lover, and having had a boxer, I could relate to all the dog antics, which had me giggling all the time. It bought back such good memories. As with all SB book series, there were crumbs of what is to come in the following books. Gage is up next, and he seems like a very upstanding hero. After that, it is Coen, and you just know that one is going to hurt, big time before he gets his HEA.
