Cliff hangar. Like the book, don’t like that I have to purchase 2 more books before getting to the finish line . Will skip the next 2 books and find another book to read.

Boring. The book is okay, I found it a bit boring and not my cup of tea. If you’re looking for a slow build up type or romance book this would better suit you. It’s not even romantic because nothing happens between the characters until you’re more that 60% through the book and even then the romance is not sizzling or special. Spoiler: If you’re looking for sex scenes or smut this is not the book for you, nothing happens between them until close to chapter 20 and then when you finally get a sex scene it’s short and unsurprisingly boring.

Hate cliffhangers. Story was ok but the story does end in a cliffhanger. If you are ok with that, it is worth the read

Okay book. Honestly I didn’t mind the book series until the end. There were some grammatical errors and towards the last two books were FULL of repetition, to the point I literally skipped full paragraphs because I got tired of reading the same line written differently for half the chapter. The first book ended on a cliffhanger and the last book had me wanting to smack the female lead. If you like the whole man bends over backwards even tho he doesn’t do anything that terrible and the woman is toxic and blames him for everything and calls him a liar even tho she has literally been lying to him since day one this book is for you. I was so angry during the last book that the ending just sent me over the edge. I only gave it 3 stars because I loved the male lead.

Story errors and incomplete book. I knew there would be problems when I saw a spelling error (your instead of you’re) and spelling/punctuation error (bosses should be boss’s) on the cover page. There were a lot of story mistakes, such as Jack commenting on Olivia’s looks before he ever met her, or when Olivia commented about lunch when thinking about something that happened at dinner. What really gets me mad is that this was not a stand-alone book. You have to buy and read all three books in the series to read the entire story. I’m suckered in now because I read the first book that ended unexpectedly with the explanation hanging. I better not be wasting my time and money on the other two books. Talk about bait and hook. I will not be reading any more books from this author.

Not a Huge Fan. This appears to be a book for more of a younger audience, and focuses a lot on describing details and having the characters communicate in sarcastic zingers vs a natural conversation. It’s a bit hard to read through, and the cover is misleading about the level of spice, but the idea is there.

Errors and not a full book.. Don't think anyone proof read this. Also not enough content to be considered a full book, even if it's meant to be part of a series. That's a bad strategy because it wasn't captivating enough to get me to buy the other parts. Should have just written a single book. Cliffhanger. I should have known better. Lexi has great stories, bit a lot of them are cliffhangers. Olivia is in the run and her problems are not resolved in this book. I enjoyed the story but not enough to read the 2 other books.

Inconsistent. This book has so many inconsistencies it’s unreadable. The story line doesn’t make any sense - it references things that didn’t happen or the same thing happens multiple times. It’s like Timms couldn’t remember what she had written and poor editing or no editing certainly didn’t help.

Disappointed. Getting to the end of this book was somewhat painful, literally nothing of significance happens for the entire length! You learn nothing about any of the characters and there is no development. The only thing I know for certain is that the leading lady here may actually be mentally unstable. The thought process is so ridiculously over the top that it makes it impossible to keep going. But I did. And then, at the end of 300 or so pages, after learning nothing and no real story progression, I now have to pay for the next book where I’m not even convinced I will learn anything new! The way this is written, I’m convinced I still won’t know a damn thing about the characters by the end of the series! I love this genre of writing, and have read just about everything available in it, and I suggest you skip this one. If you love characters you fall in love with and root for, you won’t enjoy this book.
