Needed Warning. First off, I loved the first book. It was amazing and I finished it in a day. So, I downloaded this one immediately after, thinking it was gonna be amazing and at first it really was. However, it got to a point where I couldn’t stomach a few chapters. (Not spoiling and trying to be as vague as possible) I still love the book, don’t get me wrong, but I really needed a little warning. I’ve just begun reading more adult titles as a 22 year old, and I’m definitely a little traumatized by this one. I still gave four starts because I love the ending. Already pre-ordered the last book, but I don’t think my heart, if my stomach, can take another one like this one.

Need a warning. The kidnapping scene was brutal. There needs to be a warning. The book is excellent but there is no way to come back from this brutal attack.

From love story to t*rture p*rn. The first book was fine, though grammatically hard to get through. The second one started off so strong! It was an interesting story, cute romance, and steamy scenes. And then all of a sudden out of no where it turns into a super gruesome, dark horror piece that leaves the female character forever scarred. Like… just why?? The whole ending was so unnecessary and offensive. A women is t*rutted and nearly m*rdered and apparently the only thing she needs to get over it is make up s*x?? I get it, people have spicy fantasies they might not align with in real life. But this story did not need to go into as much detail or take as dark of a turn as it did. It was gross and completely turned me off to the author. I will not be reading anymore of her work.

Unexpected. I loved the first book and was so excited to read the second…traumatizing. Nothing prepares you for what is to come and it’s unnecessarily brutal. It completely avalanches the whole story and I felt sick the entire latter half of the book. There truly needs to be a trigger warning about this attack. I didn’t expect such a sinister plot line.

You made me love reading books!!. I am OBSESSED with the blue angel’s series and I’ve fallen in love with all of the characters!!!! I binge read the first two of these books in a matter of days. I just can’t put these books down. I got so sad at the end because there wasn’t more to read yet. Will be reading again and I look forward to reading the rest of your books!!!!

Not as good as 1st book. Gosh I seriously loved the first book. Colts and Mia’s story was one of my favorite books this year. But this one was really slow for me and I just couldn’t connect to the characters or story. It just fell flat. Now, I will still definitely read the next book when it’s released in hopes that it brings back the chemistry like Colt and Mia had.

Ahhhhhh. Just as good as the first one. Can’t put it down once I start!!!

Really Dark. I loved the Love story of Boxer and Linden but it was a little tooo dark for me. Like one thing after the next of sadness.

10/10 so good. This book hit home in some ways for me. But so good. I love boxer and Linden but make sure to grab the tissues for this book. It’ll leave you an emotional wreck and I couldn’t put it down!!!

It is SOOOOO Bad. The writing is absolutely awful. I skimmed and skipped to 12% after wanting to end this @8%. It’s corny, cliche and doesn’t make sense. We see one innocuous interaction with the leads and all of sudden they talk like they have history. It is so strange. Also the author fails at creating one ounce of attraction or sexual tension between the leads. As always…ITS FREE FOR A REASON (free on Apple Books)

BEWARE!!. Romanticizing kidnapping, torture, death, killing, etc is not ROMANCE. (Don’t let them kid you….there is NO HEA!) This was a horrible story and I will not read this author’s work again.

Definitely crashed…. And there was carnage. This is a good suspense story if heartache and love in the world of the Blue Angels. Linden is a tough lady, career woman. Her challenges and triumphs she endured were severe to say the least. Her acceptance of Boxer and his life is what she finally needed to find the peace she desired.

Fantastic MC romance!. Emma Slate is quickly establishing herself as my go-to author when I want something unique, heartfelt, action-packed, and with multi-faceted and likable characters. I've never been a huge fan of MC romances, but Emma Slate turned that around with book 1 in the Blue Angels series, Wreck & Ruin. In that book, we get to meet Boxer, and ever since I've been anxiously awaiting his book. To say the very least, he did NOT disappoint. "Could a man be both a storm and a lighthouse? A danger and a safe haven?" Dr. Linden Ward is new to Dallas, after having picked up and left a prestigious job at Duke. The nurses are on her about dating but some personal baggage and her utter devotion to her career have led Linden to put finding a man on the back burner. That's until Adderly "Boxer" Ford walks into her ER with appendicitis, promptly puking on her shoes and requiring life saving surgery. During his hospital stay, Boxer charmed all of the nurses, even the oldest and most miserable among them. Hidden behind his rough, inked, leather vest-covered exterior is a caring, dedicated man intent on convincing his doctor to take a chance on him. Despite Linden's reservations about dating a former patient, she can't help her attraction to Boxer and connects with him, immersing herself into the world of the Blue Angels MC and all that means for Boxer and herself. The Blue Angels are involved in some shady business, putting Linden in grave danger, but the club's loyalty to her is unmatched and they are committed to helping her pick up the pieces. Fans of Emma Slate's Sins series will enjoy seeing some familiar faces in Crash & Carnage. Emma is an expert at creating this world where characters are interconnected in meaningful ways. Despite having some incredibly dark, violent scenes and undertones, the true themes of book shine brightly: belonging, loyalty, and purpose. This was a fantastic read, and I can't wait to devour the next installment in the series!

Aggravated. I paid full price for this book but only got 3 chapters… very disappointed. I was looking forward to enjoying the book!

Another Tarnished Angel *spoiler alert*. To start I had to go back to book 1. In the first book I remembered they were the “Blue Angels” and in this book “Tarnished Angels” I thought it was a different series…but no had the same members.Hoped that the story would expand and be as captivating, sexy and addictive as Colt’s. It was! Boxer is softer than Colt but the story was awesome. It was unexpected and I stayed up until 0300 to finish it! The series is gonna be good. Boxer and Linden meet after Boxer is shot. But the unravelling of their demons only stoke the fire as Linden’s life is altered forever. The cartel retaliates and the losses stack up. I would have loved a more tortured death for Dante after what he did… injection seems too nice! Love the HEA and the characters are spot on. On to Book 3!

Crash and Carnage. The writing make everyone feel so real .. so relatable yet the situations are far from my norm I was there with them every step ..what a ride if you are looking to escape in a different world Emma Slate is the other to go too!

ONE HECK OF A RIDE!. Well, buckle up everyone! Reading this book takes you on a wild ride that will have you feeling every emotion known to man. You can't help but love Boxer and his charisma and charm, and Linden is his perfect match in every way. You'll feel their joy, anger, pain and love all in a short span of time. I received an ARC copy and read it very quickly. I couldn't put it down. From Dallas, to Waco to Cartel Mexico, be prepared for an adventure of the ages. Don't worry, some of our favourites from the previous Blue Angels book will reappear as do some characters from the SINS series. Want a hot, steamy, on the edge of your seat read that you just won't be able to put down? Look no further!

Wish there was a part 2. A lot in one book - I wish this book had a part two and went more into everything that happens with the cartel.

Worth reading. The dynamics between the surgeon and the bikie is engaging and enjoyable. The story is well written with likeable characters. Would have preferred the bad guy to have a more brutal death but still a great read.

Boxer and Lindens story has all the feels.. In true Emma fashion it starts with a bang, and you start thinking about what’s going to happen. Their chemistry is evident from the beginning and the way it builds is perfect. The other members of the Blue Angels are part of the story, and we get to catch up with Mia and Colt. There is a perfect combination of action, suspense, romance and laughter. Definitely an enjoyable read, one I would happily read again and again.

Started Strong. Such a shame, the story line started strong then fell apart about half way through, so many things were left unanswered. Disappointing.

Sample only. I’m not sure why but when I downloaded this book only a sample size was downloaded and I can’t read the rest. So disappointing because I loved Mia and Colts story!

Had everything. Strength sass alpha and sadness are all in this book loving the series so highly recommend reading about to move on to book 3

Did not see that coming!. Boxer’s book! Havving been introduced to this lovable character in Wreck & Ruin I was delighted that this book was about his relationship with Linden “Doc”. As for Linden I found a lot of her doubts and worries in the beginning all too recognisable and real - have definitely been there and done that. The story does take a dark turn that I did not see coming, but I’ve never read so quickly to see what happens! As with Wreck & Ruin I love the scenes when all the characters are together, even more so in this book after already getting to know them in the first book. This is my found family.
