I love a challenge!. That’s exactly what Eli & Violet feel towards each other. They each have to win every single one. Never give up & never give in, other than to the need to twist each other in knots. So the romance is hard-fought, every step of the way. The way they spar together is the hook that keeps the reader on edge. They are a rare pair and we want them both to win each others heart.

Lots of Desire. Between the two characters they have so much burning desire. It creates this sort of suspenseful atmosphere which I love! Strongly suggest if you’re into very tense sexual tension.

Well written. This books took me a week to finish because I had trouble getting in to the story. Although it was well written, it just didn’t grab my attention. I’m interested in what happens to the other brothers though so might keep reading the series.

Disjointed. This book jumps all over the place, it hard to get any traction. Also felt that the two main characters should have provided belly laughs because of the way they interacted, but you were lucky if you got a tickle.

Fantastic!. I loved this enemies to lovers romance. It’s wonderfully witty, funny, sexy, and a compulsive read. Eli and Violet are great characters who just rub each other up the wrong way, that is until they start rubbing each other up the right way lol. It had me creased up with laughter one minute, then all hot and bothered by their smouldering attraction the next. The narrators did a great job of bringing this fantastic read to life!

A good read. Violet is on a date from hell! Not only is the man rude, he’s obnoxious and blown up with his own self importance! But the worse part of this date, (and there is plenty wrong with it) she’s left washing dishes as she can’t cover the bill! Eli was never going to come back home, but working and being back home is actually better than he thought. Well that was until he sees whose washing his dishes! The internal dialogue Violet has with herself did have me chuckling. I liked her no nonsense attitude. I liked she could laugh at herself. So when Eli has me questioning who Violet really is, I know I’m going to be in for a good read. This enemies to lovers book had me putting the kindle down at the wee small hours of the following morning. I couldn’t put it down. It was smart, funny, sassy and sexy. Eli had enough alpha to make you want to smack him and then kiss him. Violet in turn just made you want to know why.... Why did they always fight? Why can’t they get over their petty feelings about growing up and always having to be better than the other person?! There were a few additional characters that I loved, mostly Eli’s family. They were a riot. And stole some of the book for themselves. And when Eli and Violet decide on a no strings kind of thing, you know it won’t be long before they start breaking their own rules. I know they have history, I know the competitiveness as kids was a little rough at times, but come on people that should be ancient history. And the obligatory break up moment, I had expected more! I didn’t even break out the tissues or ice cream! So whilst it’s a good story, it’s not a great story! 🦋

Ok if you like porn. I like romance novels as much as the next girl but I don’t need explicit dialogue and vulgar language. Leave something to the imagination. The last “love scene” I skimmed over. I like a book that has a real story not one that has explicit sex with poorly written filler. It wasn’t believable that two people who allegedly hated each other that much would get together. I won’t read any other brother Loveless stories. I suspect they are basically the same. Porn with not much substance. Too bad John Holmes isn’t still alive he could play Eli on the movie.

Ebb and flow as the plot thickens. The steamy love scenes in Enemies with Benefits was the best I ever read. The story line was great. The beginning was a little odd with the blind date. It didn’t seem to go with the rest of the plot at all. I wondered if it was necessary to add in.

Hmmm. Where do I start. Well, I usually read self growth books — books I can learn from and grow. I usually avoid novels because, frankly, I can just watch a movie and move on w my life and choose to read something from which I can learn and grow.
