So slow. I read anything and everything but I couldn’t finish this book. It was so slow and heavy on repetitive internal dialogue.

Another smashing read from Sheryl Browne. Once again you have blown my mind with your wickedness Sheryl Browne! It is on full display with this book and I could not get enough! This is what I love the most about her books and she delivers on this each and every time! Trust Me is a thrilling read where everyone has something to hide and secrets to protect. Told from multiple POVs, it is a twisted tale that will keep you flicking the pages long into the night. I was completely captivated and under its spell, which always happens when I read Sheryl Browne’s work. If you are one of those people that very rarely change the passwords on social media etc, I guarantee after reading this book, it will be the first thing that you do. I know I did! It is really quite scary and creepy how someone can easily get your personal information and share it. I loved the small town setting which provides the perfect backdrop and enhances the story all the more. There is nothing better when small town gossip kicks in and the drama it causes, always makes for a very entertaining read. In saying that though, there is still empathy within for the ones it hurts the most. I always like to be an armchair detective in these stories, but Sheryl Browne gave me absolutely nothing, hanging on to its outcome so tightly, but does give you plenty of reasons to question and suspect everyone. When she does get to reveal…Wow, I did not see that coming!! See, she really is so very wicked!! Trust Me is a rollercoaster ride full of twist and turns that left my head spinning. It has been masterfully crafted, executed and is another perfect example of why Sheryl Browne is one of the most exciting authors in the psychological thriller genre. Thank you for another smashing read Sheryl Browne and I look forward to reading what you come up with for your readers next!

Brilliant!. Trust is a prevalent theme in this book, as you can tell by the title too, and boy does it explore every inch of trust in detail. I loved how a little nugget of leaked information could be the catalyst of such destruction! Every relationship was brought into question. Each person had something to hide. As humans, haven’t we all got baggage we don’t wish to share? Baggage is a part of life after all. Facing this thought head on, ‘Trust Me’ is scary. It also explores how frail relationships are and how quickly worlds can shatter. I loved that the main setting was a village doctors’ surgery and I thought Jake and Tom’s relationship and background gave such good history to the story. Emily’s past layered everything on thickly and the surprises were just, wow! I went from biting my nails for Emily to biting them for her daughter. Sheryl captured teenagers-in-the-house perfectly. All that hormonal angst - it was like a time bomb waiting to detonate. The finger pointing amongst the village was fearful! The heat and blame bounced all over the place and it was brought together brilliantly. The ending, whoosh! It’s mega as the secrets spill. Just when I thought I knew a character, something happened to make me change my mind. Forgiveness is also a huge part of this story and it made me think deeply. Some things are forgivable, others not so much. Can this broken family find a way of coming back together? Who was keeping secrets? Who was telling lies? Find out when you read the book!

Good read. I felt it was a bit slow at the beginning but a really good read

How old is the author…?. I gave up when the story concerns a married couple with teenage kids deciding their marriage might be on the rocks because of an email. Nothing remotely realistic about this story…

Dismal. Too slow went round the houses to get to the point which was confused. Took me over 3 weeks to finish this because the plot was all over the place

Trust me ……….Don’t bother. Drawn out, tedious storyline. Main character is so dramatic it’s cringey. Also the title of the book and blurb on the cover do not relate to the story at all. Really disappointing read 👎
