A Page Turner. Mary Kay Andrews latest novel does not disappoint and will keep you entertained from start to finish. What happens when your sister is caught up in a domestic situation where you promise to protect her four year daughter no matter what? How far are you willing to go? All the twists and turns will have you turning the pages to find out. Definitely one to be added to your TBR list. A perfect pool / Beach read!
Last half ruined it for me.. How this book has 4 1/2 stars I will never know. The last 1/3 of this book I wanted to rip my ears out with boredom. I listened to this book, and I could not wait for it to be over. With good editing this book should be about three hours shorter… less mundane and repetitive. So many details that didn’t need to be told and didn’t add to the story. Not even good chemistry between the cop and Letty.

Good but too long. The book is very good but it definitely could have been shorter. Would be a great read if you were on a long flight or road trip.
A fantastic beach read with a twist!. I wasn’t expecting this book to be as good as it was! Shouldn’t be surprised because I love all MKA books. Such a good read!

Mary Kay Andrews (born July 27, 1954) is the pen name of American writer Kathy Hogan Trocheck, based in Savannah, Georgia, who has authored a number of best-selling books under the Andrews pen name since 2002.Trochek graduated from the University of Georgia with a journalism degree in 1976. She worked as a reporter at a number of papers, and spent 11 years as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution before leaving to write fiction full-time in 1991. She published ten mystery novels under her own name between 1992 and 2000, and switched to the Andrews pen name in 2002 to author Savannah Blues, which marked a change in her style to more Southern-flavored themes. Her pen name is inspired by the names of her children, Mary Kathleen and Andrew Trocheck.
