To Serve. The book itself was ok but it sometimes seemed a bit too bizarre. Definitely didn’t like the ending.
Loved it. OMG this book was very interesting it left me speechless I got to buy book 2 and 3 because I got to know how Alistair and Evie story ends💙
Seriously??. I read it to see if her writing got better but nope. Seriously, do some research. Figure out what time period you want to write in then do it. You cannot marry 2 time periods if this is not science fiction. Get yourself a good editor. If you have one now fire them! Good potential but needs lots of work. Much better character development than author’s previous books.
Back and forth. The romance switches back and forth throughout the book. Will she or won’t she? Finally a sort of decision is made.
Not a stand alone. Did not look close enough to realize this wasn’t a stand alone novel. With few exceptions I generally don’t choose these to read. I’m just not interested enough to pay $11 for the entire story.

Do not serve. This story was quite maddening on so many levels. From the childhood story. To Alistair’s return to Symthe manor. The weird misunderstandings between Evie and Alistair and their final encounter was utterly ridiculous.
