Mideval Times. A great book about a woman and her daughter being transported to the 13th century after an accident. Extremely well written! Keeps your interest by the author looking at all events from each main character’s viewpoint. You’ll love it!!

Interesting story, but not well written. (Some spoilers) I was drawn into the story by sheer curiosity and kept reading when I wanted to stop because the writing was not very good. Characters are not well described, even at the end of the book I can’t imagine the protagonist very well, and the most exciting parts of the story are glossed over or omitted entirely (such as the time travel itself and how the protagonist felt while being transported, while falling in love, when having a child) while other details, like the political relationships take up too much space of the story.

Excellent historical novel about Wales. I couldn’t put it down, wondering what would happen in which century. The novel gives a wonderful picture of life in Wales in the 13th century…and real characters who capture the imagination. Great story!

Daughter of Time. I loved this book! Although it’s a time travel novel, the story is so well crafted I felt like I was along for the ride. I’m part Welsch, & so to hear the names & descriptions of the places was a bonus for me. But it’s truly a love story & I loved it!

One of the BEST “Time Travel” books EVER!. This book has the ONLY book where somebody somehow goes back in time, and the heroine doesn’t speak English to the characters in the Medieval time. Fortunately, she did study French, which hasn’t changed as much as English did. Her mother also was Welsh, and she learned a little Welsh from her mother, so this makes sense to the reader. There is drama, romance and humor that is one of the best aspects of this book. Can you imagine being a young American woman being tossed back into the late 1200’s? What would YOU do? The characters are quality, yet real people with real challenges and foibles that are totally believable. The concept of this book, which is quite unique—something very difficult to find in today’s books—continues into the best series of books I have ever read, and I have all of them and wait impatiently for the next one.

Great read!. Recommend you read it is a little slow to start but if you’re a medieval fun these books are great. Good reading y’all!

Daughter of Time. I love this book! I got this free book several years ago and it just captured my imagination with the storyline and the incredible characters. After reading it I had to purchase the rest of the series!! I recommend Sarah Woodbury’s books all the time to anyone who is looking for a good series. Honestly, I have lost count of how many times I have re-read these books!

Phenomenal Series. The concept is interesting and the story is very good. Definitely my favorite time travel piece. There is some romance which I thought was tasteful, personally I wish there was a little more! It’s an excellent book but probably leans more towards the YA audience (only slightly).

Daughter of Time. Loved this book, a must read! I fell into this richly woven world quite by accident and have completely enjoyed the time travelling adventures of Meg with the Prince of Wales Llywelyn. Sarah Woodbury very quickly became one of my favourite authors. Thank you Sarah Woodbury for hours of pleasant reading.

First in a wonderful series. This is the most fantastic book I have ever read. I came upon it by chance as a free download. Became so hooked and have read every book in the After Cilmeri series. Sarah has a wonderful writing style and draws you back to medieval Wales.

When you enter Sarah’s Woodbury world you will not want to come out of them.. I read and read again that book, I love the adventure, the Welsh language, the description of the place and will fall in love with Meg, Llywelyn .... when you finish the first book you just want to know more and start the next one.... careful highly addictive.
