Non-stop twists and turns. Great, fast read that has you on the edge of your seat. Just when you’re wondering why is a certain character being explained, the story unfolds more to where you’re like “wait-what???” A must read.
Long way around. Way too many distractions and words wasted on events, characters and getting to the end. Never did say if the person at the center of the book survived. At $1.99 this book would still be iverpriced

What a thriller!. If you are looking for a book that will take your mind off today’s headlines, Every Last Fear by Alex Finlay is the one for you. This is a mystery involving the Pines, a family whose problems are caused by one tragedy after another. Danny Pine, the eldest son, is in prison for a life sentence because he was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend, many years ago. His brother Matt is in college when the FBI seek him out to notify him that his parents, his teenage sister and six-year-old brother have been found deceased in their accommodations while on vacation in Mexico. But it may not be a gas leak as detected and foul play is strongly suspected. From then on, nothing will be predictable. The story is narrated from different points of view and alternates between the past and the present, between Mexico and Nebraska. This is a thriller like no other: never a boring moment and the reader will be fascinated all the way through. You will never guess how this mystery unwinds and you will not forget the Pines anytime soon. Highly recommended. Alexander Finlay (14 November 1887 – 2 March 1963) was an Australian politician. Born in the South Yarra neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria, he moved to Adelaide, South Australia as a child and attended school there until the age of twelve. He then became a carriage painter like his father. He married at age twenty-two and had three children. In 1918 Finlay enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force, serving in France and Great Britain. After his discharge in 1919, he returned home to Bowden, a suburb of Adelaide. There he joined The Returned Sailors and Soldiers Imperial League of Australia. In the 1920s and 1930s he held several offices in the Australian Natives' Association and in a coachmakers' union later known as the Vehicle Builders' Employees' Federation of Australia. He eventually became president of the coachmakers' union, and then from 1934 to 1944 general secretary of its South Australian branch.
