Just One Fake Date. I tried really hard to read this book. It was boring as heck. The author spent over 500 pages having the character decide whether or not to have her roof fixed. The characters were boring and the story didn’t flow. If u want to waste your time, read it. I’d rather go to the dentist!

Wow!. Never did my head spin so much at the back and forth banter of the two main characters. Lots of fun negotiations, creative solutions, and heart warming back stories for each character. Hope Aidan gets a story too and wished they explained more about Cassie, teased of an issue but no follow-up on it. HEA, great characters and friendships, a hard to put down kind of book. You will enjoy. on to read the rest of the series!!

Amazing read!. This book was a good read! It keeps you on your toes as you won’t expect what comes next! The twists and turns the characters take had me entrapped. I finished it so fast as I couldn’t put it down. Would definitely recommend!

Best book I have read lately.. First book in the series and it is awesome. The author does a wonderful job detailing each member in the book. You get to know the characters and why they make the decisions that they make.

4 1/2 stars - Surprising. There are many “fake date,” “fake engagement,” and “fake marriage” premises amongst the romance genre. I can’t believe this one surprised me. Figured it would be mostly cliche, maybe good for a few chuckles. But, as others have said, the dialogue was great. And, the characters (even the supporting one) have a lot of depth. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I bet you will, too.

Just one fake date. Quick fun and witty read. The characters were fun and honest and a perfect match for each other. They made me laugh out loud a couple of times and so I enjoyed reading their story. Well done.

As usual with Ms. Cooke, her stories are well written, pulling you into the characters' lives from the first page, and unwilling to let you go after the last page. I highly recommend this book. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Fake date. Was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. Shannyn Hawke is a live in the moment kind of girl. She has been hired to take pictures of a gym called Flatiron Five Fitness. However one of the members is Tyler McKay who she had insulted while in college. Tyler McKay is one of the members of F5F. One of the things that Tyler remembers is Shannyn telling him that he was a smug entitled a-hole. Shannyn is willing to go on a fake date with Tyler in exchange for a night of sex. Must read to find out what happens.

Nothing fake about this book!. So realistic and genuine that I felt connected to these characters from the start and was quickly invested in their story. Only stopped reading at one point because I fell asleep! Could. Not. Put. It. Down! Love, love, loved this book ❤️

Absolutely brilliant. I really enjoyed this book. The challenges thrown down by each character and the gentle story line made this a delightful read. I loved the dialogues and glimpses of the stories of the supporting characters through the narrative. A much better modern love story than a lot of the usual ones out there.

Kept my interest throughout. Enjoyed the story and was interested in the characters. Will look into others by this author.
