Crush by Tracy Wolff Book Summary
The instant #1 New York Times Bestselling Series
An Amazon Best YA Book of the Month
Everything feels off—especially me. I’ve returned to Katmere Academy, but I’m haunted by fragments of days I have no recollection of living and struggling to understand who, or what, I really am.
Just when I start to feel safe again, Hudson is back with a vengeance. He insists there are secrets I don’t know about, threatening to drive a wedge between Jaxon and me forever. But far worse enemies are at our doorstep.
The Circle is caught in a power play and the Vampire Court is trying to drag me out of my world and into theirs. The only thing Hudson and Jaxon agree on is that leaving Katmere would mean my certain death.
And not only am I fighting for my life, but now everyone else’s is at stake—unless we can defeat an unspeakable evil. All I know is that saving the people I love is going to require sacrifice.
Maybe more than I’m able to give.

Read this book pleaseeee this series gets so good I know it’s rough rn but JUST DO IT.

I feel like the first book doesn’t really go into the story as much but this one really give you everything!!!! Very captivating

This series took a hole new place in my heart. I love this series

Perfect writing.

This book was intense. Every hair that was raised or question that I had was answered in the final chapter. It was mind boggling just how juicy this book got. A MUST READ!!! Ready for SOOOO Much More!!!

Gripping edge of your seat kind of book!

Cannot put this book down, I’m absolutely encapsulated by it.

OMGoodness!! I can’t get enough I am absolutely loving Grace’s adventures and struggles awesome books!!! Dying to read more!!!

This book has me speechless on so many occasions! Always on the edge of my seat just dying to know what happens next. So well written and I am transported to their every place. Thank you for writing an amazing book! Cannot wait to read the next one.

I read this book and the previous one within a few days because I could not put them down!🥰📚❣️ So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and cannot wait to read the next installment!❣️

This series has it all, all fantasy YA vibes in the perfect way. Usually always manages to surprise me, yet the basis is familiar and comfortable. Love, love, love!

Omg really good , can’t stop reading

This is the kind literary work that had me impatient in the beginning, but crying in the end. It’s worth the wait to see how this story unfolds and I’m very grateful I chose ‘Crave’ randomly shopping for someone else

Overall, a wonderful read. There were some parts that really annoyed me, like Grace completely ignoring Jaxon just to argue with H out loud over and over again. Especially when you could tell that’s what he wanted her to do. I felt like sometimes the story progressed so slowly. But more than halfway I really started to get into it and enjoy the story line. I absolutely love how this one ended, and can’t wait for the next book!

If you like vampire diaries , the originals, and legacy you will love these books !

This was everything was done in two days

I really did like crave and crush . I loved the authors chapter titles , witty. I enjoyed the stories , characters , description of the school and all paranormal students . I just wish the live story grew as much as the other events , developed more . Not sure if I’ll move on to book 3 - a little bored for all this waiting

The best book I have ever read!!!!

I loved the first book I’m this series and the sequel was even better!

I couldn’t put these books down! I seriously read these books in three days!!! So ready to start book 3

I liked this one much more than the first book in the series. There was a lot of character development and I LOVED how Grace learned she could fight for herself. I love Hudson’s character and I am itching for more background history on it. HOWEVER, I still feel like the writing is a little young and not as well put as it could be. The sentences definitely flow better together than they did in the last book, but they could be better constructed in some small places. But thats my only critique. Overall, I loved reading this and will be continuing the series.

Finished in a day and loved every minute

My friend let me borrow Crave and I was so hooked I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Crush! I’m about a quarter into Covet now. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat craving more!

I really enjoyed this!

This book was so amazing, I couldn’t stop reading 10/10

Obsessed. I read books 2 and 3 in three days. I so badly need an action and romance packed movie of all of these. These would be better than twilight could’ve ever dreamed up! This could be the next Harry Potter! Please Tracy, GIVE US THE MOVIES!

I honestly can’t STOP READING!! It’s a MUST!!! I wish there’s way more then 4 series of books rite now, because I am beyond invested in this world of paranormals!!

Truly on a whole other level from the first book. It’s that good. A couple of Sarah J Mass-esque plot twists sealed the deal — I couldn’t put this book down and finished it in a day. 100% get this book.

Soo good!!!! I can’t put this book down! I keep waiting more!

I have no words. This books is beyond incredible. Tracy Wolfe keeps on surprising me. Nothin short of amazing!

Can’t get enough!!!

This book was so unexpected and so many turning points and conflicts! I could read this book over and over and never get tired of it! Grace makes it seem like anything is possible and shows us how she proves she can do it making any female reader believe in themselves proving we don’t need anyone to watch or protect over us we’re strong enough to do it. But by far Hudson is my favorite pushing her to do better making her feel strong and being selfless. Amazing book can’t wait for book 3. Btw the ending was crazy! Loved it!

Excellent read March couldn’t get here soon enough! I devoured the first two books!

If I could I would reread this book over and over again. It is a real page turner and keeps you on your feet. Amazing plot twists!!!!!

Sooooo in love with this series. I cannot wait for the 3rd book now. I had to reread the ending over again because it was so amazing. Such an amazing way to the book. I NEED MORE NOW!!! The story almost gives me Damon and Stefan vibes from TVD!! #teamhudson

I have been addicted to these books since I started crave. All I can say is it’s going to feel like eternity till book 3 comes out! I can’t wait!

I loved the conclusion of this book! That last line has me soooo excited for what the next book has in store. 🖤

Girl you’ve done it again.... that was exquisite

This book started off a bit slow for me, and sadly I didn’t feel the same love for Jaxon and Grace as I had in the last book.. but when we finally got the inner dialogue between Hudson and Grace this book did a total 180. Immediately you could see the great chemistry there and it adds layers of depth and intensity this book needed. The build up to the end of this book was equally heartwarming and nerve wracking, it kept me reading for hours. All I can say is #teamhudson babyyyyyy

I am not kidding when I say that I was sobbing at the end. I feel bad for anyone that ships Jaxon and Grace because that ships sinks in this book. The banter between Hudson and Grace is amazing, and I don’t know how I could make it better. I feel like I need a novella about what happened in between Crave and Crush( when she was stone). I will definitely be keep rereading this series for years to come.

It was soooooo good!!!!! It was funny it made me cry, which is a big thing since i NEVER.... EVER... cry.... so ya.... i have a vampire fedish, spurred by my love of Twilight, and i was looking for a book like this. Even though its about a vampire and a human girl like twilight, it cant be more different. At the beginning of the second book it turns out she isn’t a witch, which is what I thought had happened at the end of the last book, shes a gargoyle..... I didn’t even see that coming. The twists and turns gave me wip lash but it just got more and more intriguing and infuriating, in a good way, as the book went on! But warning if you are team Jaxon im sorry but your love is going to be dashed......... mine was and i am emotionally scared...... like for the rest of my life.... but if i were to go back in time and be able to choose to reread it over again for the first time i would..... over and over.... so ya other than the Hudson, Grace, and Jaxon triangle, and my i say i used to love triangles like in twilight and stuff but thats gone, it was great!!!♥️ I have to say i know whats gonna happen with the triangle and its making me kinda mad, but as long as you can live with the emotional scars read this book!!!! i have mixed feelings about this book but please read it it is a beautiful book with beautiful writing and it was so intriguing. So thank you Mrs. Wolff for this beautiful, fascinating, desolating, heart-renting book.♥️

I balled my eyes out. I laughed my a** off and so many other emotions I went through during this book. SO many plot twist, so much adventure, and so much love and chemistry. I absolutely couldn’t put it down and I’m sooooo excited for the next book in the series like wow, I thought the first book destroyed me till I read this one. 10/10. What an AMAZING whirlwind of emotions I just went through in Crush.

I read crave when quarantine first started and let me tell you after finishing it I was a mess because I needed more. Now that we got crush everything changed every character we met every development has been excellent. This book never not shocked me. Their was a few things in the beginning were I guessed and I was right but the end was a twist I never saw coming. I will never not recommend this book well now series. I will see y’all in the next book! ( i was really hoping i wouldn’t change my mind about Jax but I gotta say after the last chapter things took a turn to Hudson side )

I loved Hudson and Grace’s banter. I cannot wait for book 3!

Such a good book!! I can’t wait for the next one

This series is absolutely captivating!

OMG!!!!! Love it!!!!! Wish the third book was already available!!! I am in love with Hudson!

I’m in love with this series! Such an amazing storyline along with the characters. This book kept me on my toes the whole time! 10/10 recommend this series! You NEED to read this!! 💕

I enjoyed book 1 but the follow up was 20 times better. The plot, the character development, and the action. It’s a lot to unpack in Crush and it really made me happy that Grace had a lot more agency in this book. I don’t think I anticipated the emotional roller coaster I would be on after reading this. Great ya book

OMG! I just finished reading Crush and I am trying to process everything that happened. That ending tho!!! Tracy Wolff continues to amaze me with her writing and all the twists and turns. Crush will surprise and challenge you. I will do my best to keep my review spoiler-free because I don't want to ruin this book for anyone. I absolutely loved book 1, Crave, and was so eager to see what would happen next. Tracy does not disappoint with this book. She really made me feel so many emotions throughout this book and makes me question so many things. If you read book 1, then you probably were a fan of Jaxon and Grace's love story just like me. I want to prepare you because this book will hit you in all the feels. Jaxon and Grace go through some struggles and will make you wonder if they can survive it. I loved getting to know Hudson in this book. He is arrogant and cocky and that makes his and Grace's back and forth banter so special. Hudson is probably one of the most misunderstood characters and this book fills in a lot of the missing pieces. I felt so conflicted because there are moments when I am Team Hudson and that meant I was technically cheating on Team Jaxon. By the end of the book, I literally don't know how to feel because I can see the goodness in both. I give Crush 5 stars. It really took this series to the next level. The stakes were so much higher in this book and Grace along with more of the students at Katmere Academy were forced to make life or death decisions. I am so ready for more books in the series. I need to know how the rest of the story plays out! Tracy Wolff is a gem that I am so grateful for. She has put vampire/paranormal reads back on the map and truly does these stories justice!

All I have to say is!!! HUDSON HUDSON HUDSON! By the end of the book I was like jaxon who? I was so happy with the twist at the end of the book, I was hoping for it the whole way through. Can’t wait to read the third book!

Crush has crushed me in the best possible way. This book has left me speechless and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since the second I finished it. Everything about this book was incredible, from the character arcs to the hilarious chapter titles. Crush left me on the edge of my seat through the entire book, I couldn’t put it down and that ending.... let’s just say that that single sentence was the best way to end the book, even though it’s left me desperately craving for Covet more than I ever thought I could be! Tracy Wolff is an incredible author and she wrote this story beautifully. She really takes you through the course of the book so you feel everything Grace goes through as she goes through it. All her pain, love, confusion, everything. You feel it all so deeply that you can truly and fully immerse yourself in this world that she has created. And that’s just one of the things that makes this book, and series, so perfect. And I would also just like to say one more thing: I am absolutely, without a doubt, in love with Hudson Vega.

I have to admit I’m a sucker for vampire books but this sequel to Crave? Absolutely groundbreaking. The world building, the humor, the down right audacity to elevate gargoyles to this level? Completely mind blowing. I’m already itching to have the next book in my hands!

Read! This! Book! I cannot get over twist at the end 🤩

This book!!!! I knew it was going to be good but NOT THAT GOOD. I saw a few things coming and predicted that the cliffhanger was going to be what it turned out to be but it still left me totally going WTFFF?! I loved that it was jam packed and that there was more character development in this book. I’m going to be anxiously waiting for Covet to come out because I cannot wait to return back to Grace, Jaxon, and... yes even Hudson!

Definitely a must read. Finished in two days and I can’t wait for the next 2 books!

Love love love this book. If you want a great paranormal YA read, look no further. Tracy Wolff does an phenomenal job of pulling you into the story. I can’t recommend this book enough.

I thought I loved Crave, but this changed everything in the best possible way. I don’t think I’ve ever been more destroyed, in love, heartbroken, or laughed harder from a book. I don’t know how Tracy comes up with all of this but I’m hooked and already dying for the next book.

This book has been anticipated for the last five months and let me tell you , it did not disappoint! I loved every single thing about the way it was written and the cute and funny titles. The book had a very compelling plot, great character development and even better subtle messages I’m sure a lot of readers can relate to. I highly recommend this book ( should read crave first) , you won’t regret it!! Absolutely a five star worthy read.

Welcome back to Katmere Academy and back into the drama of the paranormal world! Crush, the second book in the series, brings back all of the familiar characters from the first book, Crave, with all new twists and turns. Grace wakes up thinking everything is normal, but it’s far from that. Now she has supernatural powers and problems everywhere she looks. I loved Grace and Jaxon in this book because they are so realistic. They fight and makeup as much as any high school couple would and it’s just so refreshing to see that! Jaxon is still the too perfect vampire boyfriend and Grace is still the average human girlfriend, and even though there were some hardcore cringe moments, they are too cute. The supporting characters still bring their A game, with Flint and Macey leading the show. I did take some issues with these two, as Macey is just a little too over the top and why in the world did they forgive Flint so easily? Hudson finally makes his debut and he was incredibly underwhelming to me. This is the evil vampire? He’s just mildly annoying! There was a lot of build up for major action in this book, and some things paid off and some things fell flat. Nothing really took away from my enjoyment of the book though. Overall, this book was a fun teen fantasy that didn’t feel too serious but was so easy to get sucked into. It was a fun read and I am excited for the next book to see what happens to Grace, Jaxon, and Hudson next!

There are moments in every bibliophiles life where you embark on a journey with an author and you become keenly aware nothing will be the same: Suzanne Collins - Hunger Games, Marie Lu - War Cross, and Neal Shusterman - Arc of a Scythe and now Tracy Wolff - Crave Series Throughout the course of reading Crush I found myself gasping, giggling, and physically reaching for my heart hoping to cradle in safety what Tracy Wolff has left of it. I won’t spoil the series of events that unfold, but know that you are not prepared for this adventure of self-discovery, resilience, and friendship. Truly a masterpiece!

Absolutely loved it!!! Read it within a few days and could not put it down!

I loveddddd this book. The cliff hanger in the end has me waiting on the edge of my seat. The series is beautifully written so far, with a great story line. The plot twists that have come in both the first and second book make it engaging to read all the way to the end. Truly love these books and can’t wait for the next one!!

I absolutely loved Crave. Now I’m trying to find a stronger love term for this one. Crush was sassy, hilarious, eventful, and truly spectacular! I loved Jaxon, but from the introduction to Hudson, I chose him!!! He is funny, arrogant and the type of guy any woman would crush on! I cannot wait for Covet (Crown?) and the one after that as well!
