From Friendship to Flames!. Trixie Jericho and Nick Braden have been friends for years. Trixie often visits Nick who lives a couple hours away when she has business in the area. This time Trixie is staying with Nick as she learns more about miniature therapy horses as it has been her dream to provide this service. Nick has also been Trixie’s crush for years. I love a good friends to lovers story and Melissa Foster has provided a riveting one. There is a slow build throughout as Trixie and Nick explore their feelings. This author is a master at building anticipation till the very end. Melissa Foster has written another 10 star read.

Great Finished in one day. Such a great love story I loved everything finished in two days was so amazing!!

Starts cute, finally ends cute. This book should have ended about 10 chapters before it did. The heroine starts out being a bad a**, take-no-names woman, but by mid-book she has turned into a insipid, airhead. It does rebound a little in the last two chapters.

For the love of horses 🐴. Somewhere along the way friendship turns into more. For Nick and Trixie complicated emotions, patience, and love all find their place in this story. Of course there is lust and hot scenes, but there is so much more involved in the relationships of the characters. Strong family ties and the overwhelming goodness of the people are inspiring. I love that I learn something new, this time about mini houses used as therapy animals, and all the hours of training involved.

Worth staying up all night to read. This is actually one of those books that I stayed up all night to read. I was so interested in Nick and his history, especially with his family, that I couldn't stop myself. I think there is still more to his story, but I did like how it took him time to work through his issues. They weren't just solved and everything is hunky dunky. And Trixie could see he was trying, but still holding back. I'm not so sure I would have been as patient as she was. She is a take charge person so for her to sit back and let him work through things at his pace had to be incredibly hard for her. Even though Nick is the strong, tough cowboy, it's Trixie who truly shows the strength. She gently guides him to confronting his issues, while putting together a new business. I love seeing such a strong female lead. It is inspiring that women can do anything.

Hot for Nick!!!. I fell so hard for this book, I could not stop reading it until I reached the end. Then I wanted more. I love this clan and the Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls series is just magical. The characters have become a family and I always hate leaving them after each story. But there is more and I can’t wait! Nick is my new favorite cowboy! Gah his charm and kindness just gets me everytime. And Trixie is a firefly! Her mind can race and she is a force to be reckon. But I love her personality and determination. These two were just kismet. Hot for Love is about finally letting go and finally enjoying the little things. A story that has you heart skipping a few beats and then can give you the butterflies. Hot for Love is a read that will have you smiling while blushing! A story you will surely enjoy and can be read as a stand alone.
