Angsty Second Chance. This book is an amazing start to what I think is going to a fantastic series. So many brothers to get their HEA and I really can't wait. Hayes and Blaire's story is twelve years in the making. It's so angsty but out of all that angst a family is being built. I feel like this family is going to take us on a wild ride in the quest for each of them getting their own HEA and I am so looking forward to it.

Loved it but also very frustrated over the end - 9/10. I loved this book, honestly. The second chance romances are one of my favorite and the detail is immaculate, just 🤌🏻 I could feel the list and the passion between Hayes and Blaire. The only thing I did not like about this book was how quickly they moved and how abrupt it ended. I know there’s other books between each of the brothers and that the story between Hayes and Blaire will continue through those books, its just a lot happened between them in last 75 or so pages.

Very slow. This book wasn’t terrible, a good story but drug on way too long. Not a lot of romance for me. Predictable .

Loved you once. Would have been a 5 star except for all the “F” bombs. Not one was needed. Reading without them the story flowed fine. I was always told, and firmly believe, that people who talk like that don’t know words to use to properly convey their thoughts. I am all in for catastrophe swearing but not for substitution of regular words.

Awesome second chance romance. Omg I absolutely loved this story. What a beginning for a new series. The series is about a group of brothers. In this book we enter the world of Hayes and Blaire. This is a second chance romance. The reader learns of the turns and twists that these characters go through. I love how we can feel the love these two have for each other. I cannot wait to to read about the rest of the brothers and their stories. I am also so xcited to be able to get little glimpses of Hayes and Blaire in the coming books. ‘This author never disappoints. 5 star all the way.

Fell in Love. This first book, I admit the description didn’t make it sound appealing but it was free so after a couple of months I thought why not. I fell in love with this family from this first book. The characters were so well written that I knew them and wanted to follow them through the journey of each book. I felt all their feelings. It’s not very often that an entire series will draw me in. I generally lose focus after the first book and a half. But I couldn’t put this series down and I kept going back for more and more. I loved each character and I felt like I knew them. I felt all their emotions. If you read the first book about Hayes and Blair, be prepared to read the rest. I can promise you will not be disappointed.

Interesting plot.. This will be fun to see the future books and just where it goes. The start was good, enjoyed this.

Seven Billionaire Brothers. This series debut, Loved You Once, is a great intro to the Aldridge brothers’ lives - somewhat akin to jumping into the deep end of the pool! This story has many elements - hate, love, failure, success, yearning, satisfaction, denial, truth, questing, finding, and emerging as a family with committment to serve others! This is a dystopic family tale of overachievers with a hefty amount of sexy romance intertwined! Quite a fun read!

Topsy Turvy Family drama. Lots of drama, heartfelt moments with a lotta sexy on the side.

This series is going to be epic!. Wow, what a great start to what is going to be a phenomenal series! This is the story of Hayes and Blaire, but it also a fantastic introduction to all the brothers. Hayes' father was just awful.  William Aldridge was a philandering, deceitful man. He was spreading his seed all over North America and then failing his offspring with neglect.  The repercussions of Willams's actions have been felt by the brothers since then. Blaire and Hayes' had a real love story back in their younger days.  But youthful decisions and fear of the future drove them apart. When William Aldrige passes away, he leaves a convoluted last will and forces the brothers to come back to Baker's Creek to save the town. There is so much to this story, it kept me so engaged to keep up with all the introductions and then the reunion of Blaire and Hayes.  Hayes has never forgotten Blaire and he wants her back.  He wants a future with her and will stop at nothing to make that happen. Blaire becomes the glue to hold the brothers together and we see them start to mend relationships that have been wrecked by time, distance and a death of one of the brothers. I cannot wait to see the next in this series! It's going to be epic!

Loved You Once. This book is between a 3 and a 4 for me. It was a good book but it was more of a drama then a romance. There just wasn’t much romance in it. It also had a lot of characters which took awhile of reading to get to know who was who. I think the story needed more alone time with Hayes and Blaire and less about trying to save the town. I think their was just too much other stuff going on in the story.

Great Love Story. I really enjoyed the love story and all of the chaos around these characters. But I’m really disappointed by the poor editing in the book. There were so many grammatical errors/mistakes that I found myself re-reading several passages, which broke up the flow of the story. They seriously detracted from the book.

Hooked after the first few pages. Great read- took a while to piece the family tree together but I got there and I love the way the author portrays the characters.

This time around. Relationships can be complex. Take Blaire and Hayes for example. They were together twelve years ago, but she married his brother ten years ago. She’s over come an immense amount. I liked her. Now, she’s back in town. For the money. Hayes has grown up a lot in the years she’s been gone. He seems to have matured and wants to own up to his failings and make amends. Can they make it work this time around? The first in a series featuring the Aldridge brothers. Recommend.

Loved it!. Loved You Once was a fantastic beginning to the Bakers Creek series. Hayes Aldridge and his five brothers have just lost their father. The will states that they must all live together for 18 months before they receive anything. The problem with this is that none of them really like each other. All six brothers have alpha tendencies and issues from the way they were raised. Blaire is Hayes former girlfriend, the only woman he has ever loved. He ruined their relationship twelve years ago, but now he wants another chance. Blaire is an amazing woman who has overcome a rough childhood and is doing wonderful things in the world. I loved her! I really enjoyed watching this story play out. Hayes was really a pretty good guy, he just mad a big mistake with Blaire when he was younger. I can’t wait to see all of the Aldridge brothers find love. I think this is going to be a really fun series. I’m so excited!

Loved This Book SO Much. Loved You Once (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #1) was a deliciously swoon worthy, refreshing, sweet and heartwarming second chance romance that I absolutely needed in my life right now. This charming and delightful book will pull you in deep and keep you blissfully entertained until the beautiful end. Hayes is the first Aldridge brother to start off this series and what a perfect way to do so as Claudia Burgoa made it very easy to fall in love with him and Blaire. I couldn’t get enough of Hayes, the oh so sexy doctor and I envied Blaire with her down to earth persona, selfless, realistic and admirable character. Their story focuses on finding hope and dealing with the past in order to move on. Loved You Once’s plot was meaningful, the storyline flowed smoothly and was filled with a lot depth which was greatly appreciated considering the book also included all of the Aldridge brothers. And all that Aldridge hotness coupled with their alpha personalities was definitely a force to be reckoned with. I’m intrigued by the brothers and highly anticipating reading their books. I love it when a book makes me smile big and makes me feel good inside and Loved You Once exceeded my expectations. The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers is my new favorite series and I can’t wait to read the next book, A Moment Like You.

Ugh. Would have been a good story other than constant “F” in all paragraphs. Spent a lot of time skim reading just to read story line, ending. I will not complete the series due to this. Then author’s thanking God for her life was final straw.

Entertaining. Book one in an exciting new series from Claudia Burgoa and she is off to a solid start. Loved You Once is a second change at love story that was was an emotional roller coaster of a read that held my attention from the first to the last chapter. This is Doctor Hayes Benjamin Aldridge and Blaire Wilson. Both Hayes and Blaire are haunted by the past, the big question is will they have the courage to take a chance on love and in doing so get the happily ever after they deserve? We all have regrets, it’s how we learn from them and move forward with life and what it deals you that can change the course of a person’s life. Hayes knows he is going to have to work to prove that he has changed and in doing that change his future. This is a story of self discovery, of facing ones past and moving forward into the future, if you dare to take a leap of faith. The characters were entertaining and the story was well written. Angsty at times and heart warming it made me laugh and made me cry. There was romance, some humour and the camaraderie and banter between the Aldridge brothers added to my enjoyment.

Dispicable. Never meet a male protagonist that I hate so much. He is so self absorbed and arrogant and out of touch with reality. Cannot bring myself to read anymore of this.

Simply wonderful!. Wow what an amazing book. I was excited for this new series and omg it was a wonderful start with Hayes and Blaire’s story. Claudia is a wonderful story teller and she had me hooked with this well written book.

Not so sure. A rather far fetched idea a little too bizarre. Strange little things like the characters complain how much some things will cost when they have billions.... even the main love story seemed to evolve too quickly and too easily.

5* Sexy Nerd Stars. This is the first book in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers Series and is about the very sexy, nerdy Dr Hayes Benjamin Aldrige and Blaire his long-lost love. When Hayes and Blaire are reunited unexpectedly after 12 years apart without any contact their love for one another is still strong and undeniable. However, both are flawed and struggling to let go of their pasts and learning to open up their hearts to love and trust one another again is not proving to be easy. Added to this Hayes is reunited with his brothers after the sudden death of his estranged father. The only thing the Aldrige brothers have in common (besides them all being as sexy as hell) is that they had the same philandering father, there is no love lost between them. As per the father’s last wishes they all have to live together in a very quaint little town called Baker’s Creek, under the same roof for 18 months and work together on the businesses or everything will be liquidated, and the town folk will suffer from it. As each one of the brothers is very successful in their chosen careers this is proving to be difficult and they are all so very obnoxious and stubborn towards each other. This was such a fantastic story of taking chances, learning to open up your heart to family and loved ones, letting go of the past and the sins of the Father and taking a chance with what tomorrow brings. The secondary characters in the book are very entertaining and real, I had some laugh out loud moments especially when Sophia was present and some angsty moments too. I think this is some of Claudia’s finest work to date and I am so excited to read the rest of the Series, I only wish they were available right now as I am hungry for more.

Great start to a new series. 4.5 Stars for Loved You Once Book 1 in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers Series and what a great start to what looks like a hit series for Ms Burgoa. Loved You Once is a second chance romance and it a emotional entertaining read that will appeal to all romance lovers. Hayes and Blaire have a history, they have regrets and they are both haunted by their past but Hayes is willing to learn from the past and move forward but will Blaire ever feel the same..... If you are looking for an emotional read that has all the feels look no further this book certainly ticks all those boxes. It’s a story with wonderful characters and it’s a journey about self discovery as well as love, it has the perfect mix of love, angst and humour and it’s a book that will captivate you. Looking forward to book 2 in the series

Unrealistic 😴😴😴. Story line had good roots but fell apart 1/4 way in and turned into a snooze fest! I had to skip read until the end just to see how it ended up. Also the unrealistic use of billions is ridiculous!

Set in the small town of Baker’s Creek, Oregon, it’s about a family of half-brothers, all fathered by billionaire William Aldridge, an egocentric and arrogant man who abandoned the mothers of his children and was absent for most of their young lives. When he dies, he leaves his estate, including the town of Baker’s Creek to his estranged sons, but with stipulations. The main one being they have to live and work together to save the town. Hayes Aldridge has the task as William's only surviving legitimate heir of making sure his half-brother’s plus his full brother’s widow stay on track. Blaire Wilson doesn’t need the headache of working with Hayes. These two were once sweethearts until Hayes left her behind and she then married his younger brother. It’s been twelve years but the hurt is still a deep and burning wound. Hayes never stopped loving Blaire and now all he wants is to make things right between them. Can he win the girl’s heart that he broke and gather his brothers too?? It’s a big job, but Hayes is a man on a mission. He’ll do whatever it takes. I enjoyed the slightly convoluted story. It’s going to be a long series as there are six brothers and all of them have interesting backgrounds. I hope Henry’s is next, and that Sophia is his leading lady.
