I don’t normally write reviews at all. However this book was a light in the darkness for me in a time that I saw nothing but despair and hopelessness in my future and I’d recommend it to anyone who is asking themselves the question of why should I try in life and or what is my purpose?

Self-Aggrandizement. Sorry for those who loved the book. There were parts to the book that were inspirational, but it seemed to me the principles he applied in running and doing pull-ups were not the principles used to make him a better father/husband.

Wow. I’m 52, wish I read this book when I was 16. My foundation is also cracked, not to as great an extent. I have wonderful support from wife and kids. However not until now, knowledge from reading this, I may be able to free my constant fears of being stupid and different. Thanks
