Loved!!. This book was amazing. Gave me chills. J.R Ward did it again.

A Dark Christmas Indeed. This is equal parts heartbreaking and heartwarming. Some of the parts are really hard to get through. I worried that Qhuinn was headed back to a very bad place, but Z stepped up and helped him veer back on course. Qhuinn has most definitely redeemed himself from where he was in The Chosen.

Terrific!. Sometimes a sequel is not up to the same standard as the originals. I worried because this was shorter, but Ward did it again and it’s a great book. It wrapped up some loose strings in a sad but original way. I cried and laughed and finished the book feeling very satisfied and eager for the next installment. Hoping the next book is full length so we can reconnect with all the characters on more than a superficial level.

Emotional. Absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking. Ward didnt disappoint here. I smiled, laughed, cried and smiled some more. Recent books it felt like moments between the brotherhood were very limited. It was nice to see everyone together again during this book. I loved it

A must read!. As always JR Ward drags you into this world of amazing characters. I have enjoyed each & every book in the series. This one was also great. Can’t wait for the next!!

Gobbled up in two days!. Just... wow. Every time I think I have a favorite brother, I’m left in awe again. I don’t want to reveal too much but I’ve almost come to feel like I know these males personally. Rather than characters in a book, they are friends I’d meet out and about. Lassiter is hands down my favorite character. His path is far from easy but despite the teasing he endures, he does everything in his power to protect those he cares about. I’ve laughed out loud and cried. His serious moments always make the hairs on my neck stand up because it makes me think of all he knows and sees but cannot stop. And Zsadist! Ugh! Just wow... wow wow wow. Another winner for sure. Heartbreaking, as the struggle of Luchas is something I know personally having struggled myself. Another winner. And a lesson learned again: love conquers all.

So many tears.... But good ones! Ward has always made me feel so much with her writing. I enjoyed this so much!
